Nah, CBS does.

EDIT: I mean, really, it's not quite the NBA but I wouldn't want to be a little school against a big name school. You're playing 8 on 5 in those games.

Jeeber, your boys played damn good. Too bad they couldn't pull it out.

And as usual, I have a gaping hole in my bracket.

Exactly what I was thinking. The officiating in the Manhattan/Florida game was pretty dodgy at times too. But the team from the superior state won, and that's all that matters

It amazes me how some teams cannot manage the game in the last minute. UTEP made a hell of an effort, but really did not maximize their chances.

Maryland is a poor free throw shooting team (although they were making them at the end), so why not foul, go for 2, repeat. The way they played it, they only gave themselves 2 chances, when they could easily given themselves 4 chances.

yea, that was poor end game coaching by Utep.. who clearly didn't even expect to be in that situation in the end game..

Also laziness on the defensive end hurt utep.. alot of silly fouls that could have been avoided by proper movement and footwork..

I really do think they fumbled a good chance, particularly wasting 22 seconds on that last Maryland possession when it was obvious as heck they needed to foul (the possession started with 35.8 on the clock). They should have fouled in the backcourt for sure.

Nobody's bracket is really screwed yet...unless you lose a final four or maybe an elite eight team in the first round. The first round games don't count for much.

25-8, St Joe's. Guess we won't be hearing from Falwell how God willed his school into the second round.

Thankfully, we went to a much more interesting game between BYU and Syracuse.

You know, the sick sadistic side of me hopes St Joes runs the table in that region because very few "knowledgable" sports fans have them that far, trying to look smart and guess where they will get knocked off. It's almost like cheering for the underdog.

They can't be too knowledgable if they don't consider St. Joe's a favorite because they are playing essentially "home" games the first two weekends. That said, I think I picked them to get knocked off in the sweet sixteen in one of my brackets. Seeing that in my office bracket, I picked them to advance to the final four, I guess that it's the FOFC bracket.

i liked the commentators at half of siu/bama

Siu cannot hit threes.. they cannot make any sort of runs when they get down..

Start of 2nd half.. siu hits 4 threes to get within 2.. nice commentary

St Joes will have a much easier time advancing past the Sweet 16 if Wake Forest doesn't get itself together in the 2nd half(Texas Tech has no shot at beating St Joes, IMO).

BYU apparently owns the Orangemen, from what I've seen. Need to put them away in the second half though.

You say that, but how many people have you seen over the past few days talking about how St Joes will be the first #1 seed out?

Not such a great day after all...

But hey, my Miners played hard. Props to the Terps, though. Maryland took advantage of our weaknesses and we didn't capitalize on theirs. It was still a great season for the Miners. Most folks were expecting a .500 season from them at best at the beginning of the year.

honestly jeeber.. utep really played poor strategic basketball at the end of the game... something that coaching should cover, they had a legimate shot at that game even with the poor ref calls down the stretch and should have had at least 2-3 chances to tie-win instead of 1

31 seconds left, SIU with the ball. Bad shot selection on that last 'bama possession.

Wow. A couple of big buckets there. 5 seconds. plenty of time for SIU to set up a quick shot.
