Wonder why EB said the 3rd?? I'll ask my buddy that works at Best Buy to see when they're getting it.

I don't have it either. A buddy of mine and I rented and played it one night while we were both hig.... I mean, we played it and just sort of ran over cliffs and drove into aliens and stuff. But I can't play it straight. Just not my bag.

Boy, that MVP screenshot looks great!
But, I am going to stick with OOTP6 this year. I have really enjoyed OOTP5 and am looking forward to converting my career league over to OOTP6.

Halo isn't platnium, but it's only $30. It'll prob be platnium when Halo 2 comes out this X-mas.
I hope all the baseball games continue to improve. Moreso than the typical slight overhaul&roster updates that have happened in the past. That's why I didn't play the 2nd WSB nearly as much as the first (which wasn't that much). |

I'll chime in as another X-Box owner who doesn't own Halo and never intends to.
Another question. I haven't followed this whole thread, so sorry if this has been stated. I read about the text manager mode, which is great and all, but what I'd love to see come back is the one pitch manager mode. Any of the games coming out this year have that? I'd like to actually watch the games unfold, but not sit through the whole thing. High Heat used to do this a couple years ago and I had a blast doing that, but it seems like no one is doing it anymore. |

Probably two weeks later. There were rumors of 3/2, but it was changed back to 3/9 last I heard. Although, who knows, it might be out a week early. There is certainly alot of hype for this years version. Todd |

I've played both versions and though it is a good game, I personally couldn't get into it. Just a bit sterile for me and only being a solo game and VERY limited as far as "in game options" go.

Check out the minor league videos over at IGN. Playing a game when my 1st round draft pick pitcher is starting his first game in the minors? Checking on an old vet to see if he still 'has' it. Oh how I hope this game is fun out of the box, meaning bump the default difficulty a notch or two, and play - no slider tweaking for weeks.
