By law, no one in the federal gov can have a higher salary than the Pres, but... I know for fact that certain organizations like the NSA offer a "unique" series of bonuses to retain certain, special skills of people to keep them away from the likes of Bill Gates. I am certain Fisher DeBerry retains some of these "unique" bonuses to give him such a high salary. But by law, his base salary cannot exceed that of the President's.

What? You're more embarassed about that than when the people of Massachusetts had a chance to eliminate their state income tax and actually voted to keep it?

You're right. It's better to have career politicians in office (Gray Davis) or murderers like Teddy Kennedy.

Arnold might not come through, but I'd sure as hell take a chance with him before I trust some scumbag career poli ever again.

First candidate who promises to vote against all new laws and only for the repeals of old laws, and otherwise do absolutely nothing, gets my support forever (as long as they stick to their word on it).

Aside from that, Arnold was probably preferable to all the career politicians out there...and more savvy than Gary Coleman.
