Yeah, I knew that about Rick Shroeder, but I think the thing that makes it interesting is that I think this was after he had taken a number of years off, so he's in a bit part here and there, but you don't really notice it (well, until he went on NYPD Blue).

Good grief we could list the entire cast. Linda Cardellini did have some guest shots before F&G -- saw her not too long ago on TV Land in Third Rock From the Sun. James Franco, Jason Segel and John Francis Daley hadn't done much before the show and F&G was the first job for Seth Rogen. We're still waiting for Martin Starr an Samm Levine to this the big one. It's amazing how talented that cast was.

Epic response. My favorite thing about that movie is that everybody wore the same clothes for the whole movie. I haven't seen it in years, but I guess it all took place over the course of one day. That was a truly incredible day. Best movie in the world.

Young? He was already into semi-retirement from starring roles. He'd already made Bananas, Take the Money and Run and Sleeper. Drew Barrymore in ET. Also if you are a MSR2K fan, you might remember a black and white horror movie that starred Nicolas Cage using another name. Wish I could remember the flics title.

The "Shoooosh" antagonist from "Encino Man" had a bit part in Lost in season 1.. I haven't seen the rest of the seasons of the show yet, but I laughed my ass off after seeing him on there.
Not sure that qualifies at all though. I'm just wasting time.

Guys, the Outsiders was billed as an all-star cast of young talent. It had huge hype and they listed the actors names during the commercials.

Earth Girls Are Easy gave us the first pairing of two of the stars of In Living Color, Daymon Wayans and Jim Carrey.
And speaking of In Living Color, Toys, starring Robin Williams, gave us the first movie look at Jamie Foxx. |
