Since we're on the subject of great WRs, does Isaac Bruce get in to the HoF?

without looking at career numbers he could be right there but I'm sensing he's coming up short.

We may look back at Brady and say, "Those were two amazing Super Bowls he won, but he didn't do anything else of worth at all." or say "He was the second coming of Joe Montana." But as I've now helped beat into the ground, we won't know for a number of years.

Agreed. He is one of the best qb's playing, he helps his team win (not "just don't make mistakes" like Dilfer), and has taken his team to the highest level and won twice. As long as he doesn't fall apart, he should be in. I can't see him failing, but there have been some in the past I didn't see failing either.

I would say Bruce is in. Has been one of the best at his position for a number of years. He was great BEFORE the greatest show on turf, and he has longevity to boot.

Saying Sterling Sharpe belongs in the HOF is like saying Bo Jackson belongs in the HOF.

Which, I don't necessarily disagree with.

I would tend to agree. I remember trying to draft him for years but I'd have to compare numbers.

I'd vote for James Loftonn and Reed over Monk.

Besides catches, Monk's numbers are good, but not great.

In that breakdown, I give it to Monk. For a few reasons, when Gary Clark was on the team and Monk was healthy, he was the #1 option on the team. Aside from Clayton, and Ellard at the end of his career, all the other guys were the only real option on their teams. Monk had longevity, he won 3 SBs with the 'Skins.

However, I will give Lofton this, he was one of the best deep ball receivers of all time.

I'm not sure. The season always ends for me in November.
