Huge loss for the Steelers. With batch out who does that leave as their starting QB?

Dennis Dixon starting, and they're signing a QB off the practice squad as the backup.

Ouch! Against a tough Ravens team to run on this could get ugly.

Philly starts off the game with an onside kick, but Washington recovered it and returned it to Philly's 20.

Somehow Washington leaves DeSean Jackson WIDE open for a 40 yard TD. Eagles up 10-7.

Asante with his 2nd pick of the half. That will give the Eagles a chance to go ahead before the half. Currently, they are down 14-13. 19 seconds left and the ball is on Washington's 29.

I did not understand the Skins playcalling on that drive at all. What possible good could come of that pass Campbell threw with thirty seconds left? Middle of field, just going to cost you a time out for five yards. This is after 2-3 other passes that were not more than five yards downfield. If you are going to call those kinds of plays just take the knee ...

Yes, I'm playing against the Eagles defense in fantasy football

Maybe John Fox should institute some sort of code system so that Delhomme will know not to be a fucking terrible QB. It seems to be working so far for Sanchez!

Heh I kinda laughed when I heard the Jets were doing that, but there should be only one code for Delhomme today-STTBS-Stop Throwing the Ball Stupid. Revis taking the only real receiving threat out of the game, and one who was injured coming into the game on top of that, and two good running backs available. It's time for short passes and runs, a John Fox fantasy.

Crap Warner is inactive today. Big Ben was my backup for one of my fantasy teams. Had to pickup Leinart today so I have someone active.

Looking at Sanchez's knee on the sideline, doesn't look serious

Edit, well they did put a brace on it, looks like he will try to come back into the game when they have the ball next

The Texans-Colts game is starting to look awfully familiar. I think I may have seen this script before a time or two.

Colts take the lead assuming this PAT is good. Alot of time left on the clock though.

Another TD for the colts. Clint Session runs an INT back for a TD.

A Henne pick followed by a 50 yard Owens TD put the Bills up 24-14 late in the 4th. Miami will fall to 5-6 with a loss making the playoffs a longshot, I can't believe we're going to blow the season on a loss to the shitty ass Bills.

The Eagles with a 2 point conversion, thanks to a great effort by McCoy, tie it at 24.

Campbell throws short of the receiver on 4th and 1. Eagles should be able to finish this out. 1:05 left with a 27-24 lead. Not a pretty win, but I'll take it.

Atlanta gets 3 plays from the Tampa 10, then 4 from the Tampa 5 after a defensive holding. 7th time's a charm, 5 yard touchdown catch for Roddy White.

Interesting.........a pass interference on a hb option play in the Bears/Vikes game. I didn't know you could call pass interference after a hand off?

Absolute beauty of a throw by Cutler to Knox to tie the game up at 7.

Vince Young had been having some good plays, but he just ran around far too long when the Titans were in FG range with a timeout and 8 seconds left on the clock. As a result, he ran out the clock and was finally sacked.

Alex Smith is having his best game of the year so far. Ironically the Niners have been in the spread offense most of the day.

Memo to Jimmy Raye: it's about time you figured this out...as anybody with half a brain could tell Smith is much more productive in that style if offense.

I think that's more about having a weak defense that crossed the country, has many injuries, and was never that good to begin with. Lots of people have been lighting up the Jags this year, see the Cardinals and Seahawks for examples.

Chris Johnson takes it 85 yards for TD run on the Cards. He's got 150 yards already early in the 3rd on a pretty good rush d.

Seriously - how many times does this point need to be made? I'm terrified that when Staley comes back, Singletary and Raye are going to try and relieve "three yards and a cloud of dirt" again. This team has playmaking offensive talent (Crabtree, Davis, Gore) that can shine.

PS - we've got 2 first round picks in the draft coming up - I'd take 2 offensive lineman. This offense has huge potential if we can consistently give Smith time.

I'm actually a Morgan fan - he's an unselfish guy (witness his graciousness at giving way to Crabtree in the lineup and helping him) who does whatever it takes. Morgan, Crabtree, crap even Hill have been impressive - combined with Davis, I like the receiving corps.
