That's great she can be semi normal, and I do think it was a good idea to try and cash in on ratings because she was on the show, but she was so bad and it was so obvious why she was there, it was detrimental. IMO.

I still love HIMYM and I completely support the reason they had her, especially if it helps sell the show for another season.

I wasn't arguing with you, it just seemed a good jump off place to make the point I wanted to make. I'm all for this girl getting her life straightened out, I just wish she could do it somewhere other than this show. She might have the ability to learn to be a good actor, but she has a LONG way to go.

Is she going to be on the show more often or something? She had such a small part, I barely thought about the fact that it was her. I mean, she didn't even have the biggest guest role in the episode.

I don't read any spoilers or other sites, but I think it's a sure thing that he's now met 'the mother.' She even said she left the bar early on St. Patrick's. I liked her, so I'm glad to know she'll be back around. She was more entertaining than Robin.

I didn't think Britney was that bad, but it was stupid the way they made the show look like it was going to be all about her in the previews.

There were hints that she might be around for a multi-episode arc, but after seeing the last show I'm guessing she might not be.

The Doogie bit had us laughing out loud. I especially loved when he looked up thoughtfully as he thought about what he'd learned. And the word processor on the laptop looking so '80s. Hilarious.

Because they are really good friends and they are involved with their children's lives? That's the only reason I would figure he uses the terms aunt and uncle. He calls Lilly and Marshall aunt and uncle as well.

Anyway, I didn't misunderstand it -- replies to that effect came just a few posts after the comment on post 10. I just thought that since someone assumed that saying it implied a Robin/Barney hookup, that Ted and Barney must be brothers. Otherwise it doesn't make any sense to say that at all -- regardless of whether or not aunt and uncle are used for friends of the family.

Yes, but I think it just means that she moves in the apartment, not that they get back together. Since Lilly and Marshall are moving out. But who knows.

It was a good episode. I have long been a Scrubs fan, so I've got plenty of exposure to Sarah Chalke, but her episodes of HIMYM are showing that she really does have some acting talent. Her character here isn't all that different from her Scrubs character, but the talent is more apparent without all the goofiness and silliness.
