That's great she can be semi normal, and I do think it was a good idea to try and cash in on ratings because she was on the show, but she was so bad and it was so obvious why she was there, it was detrimental. IMO.

I still love HIMYM and I completely support the reason they had her, especially if it helps sell the show for another season.

I wasn't arguing with you, it just seemed a good jump off place to make the point I wanted to make. I'm all for this girl getting her life straightened out, I just wish she could do it somewhere other than this show. She might have the ability to learn to be a good actor, but she has a LONG way to go.

Is she going to be on the show more often or something? She had such a small part, I barely thought about the fact that it was her. I mean, she didn't even have the biggest guest role in the episode.

I don't read any spoilers or other sites, but I think it's a sure thing that he's now met 'the mother.' She even said she left the bar early on St. Patrick's. I liked her, so I'm glad to know she'll be back around. She was more entertaining than Robin.

I didn't think Britney was that bad, but it was stupid the way they made the show look like it was going to be all about her in the previews.

There were hints that she might be around for a multi-episode arc, but after seeing the last show I'm guessing she might not be.

Awesome... great episode on so many different levels.

The fact the first woman blamed herself and was willing to get back with Barney was great.

The Doogie bit had us laughing out loud. I especially loved when he looked up thoughtfully as he thought about what he'd learned. And the word processor on the laptop looking so '80s. Hilarious.

I did like the brackets being used to narrow down Barney's sabatour... and how they stole the blackboard .

We liked the Doogie bit -- especially since I was just saying that when they flashed all those girls Barney hooked up with, that they should have made Wanda one of them. Did anyone notice Madeleine Albright was there?

Great second video for Robin Sparkles on Monday's episode. The thing with Barney was somewhat predictable

Really? I was floored! Or do you mean when Barney came back to her place?

Didn't future Ted say something about "Aunt Robin" and "Uncle Barney"... now we speculated that that was just terms used for adult friends, but maybe... just maybe... but that'd be sooo wierd.

Then why would calling her 'Aunt Robin' mean a Robin/Barney hookup (as was said in post 10)?

Because they are really good friends and they are involved with their children's lives? That's the only reason I would figure he uses the terms aunt and uncle. He calls Lilly and Marshall aunt and uncle as well.

What does that have to do with a Robin/Barney hookup?

I'm not the person that said that, I think the person that said that misunderstood the aunt/uncle thing just like you.

Then why did you answer?

Anyway, I didn't misunderstand it -- replies to that effect came just a few posts after the comment on post 10. I just thought that since someone assumed that saying it implied a Robin/Barney hookup, that Ted and Barney must be brothers. Otherwise it doesn't make any sense to say that at all -- regardless of whether or not aunt and uncle are used for friends of the family.

You do realize that none of these people are related at all, they are friends.

If you are asking someone specific a question you need to quote them, I was answering your question based on it being a question, not a response to something someone else said...

Anyway you and I are on the same page, it's just Scarecrow that's not.

Yes, but I think it just means that she moves in the apartment, not that they get back together. Since Lilly and Marshall are moving out. But who knows.

Of course Ted and Robin getting back together would lose some intrigue because we already know she's "Aunt" Robin... then again, that was always a fear when they announced that early on.

He also said, "Oh, wait, Robin wasn't living there yet."

But, as ISiddiqui said, we already know she is "Aunt Robin."

It was a good episode. I have long been a Scrubs fan, so I've got plenty of exposure to Sarah Chalke, but her episodes of HIMYM are showing that she really does have some acting talent. Her character here isn't all that different from her Scrubs character, but the talent is more apparent without all the goofiness and silliness.

I thought the episode was a bit off at parts, like all the jokes about 2003. However, I'm still laughing when I think about that "Bro" candidate that was saying, "At 7 we break out the cheeses, and Cranium. We all watch 27 Dresses, and everybody's home by 11" in that voice. lol

That scene was funny, but I had to restrain myself from yelling at the TV that koalas aren't bears. Stupid actors never hear me through the TV anyway.
