Um, yeah.
The two girls I'm waiting for email replies from will answer me before the Dolphins win a game this year. ...And considering how remote it is that I'll get an answer, that's really fucking sad.

Look on the bright side......
Ted Ginn Jr. has pulled into a four way tie for 22nd amongst rookies in receptions and is just 13 yards from breaking 100 yards receiving......for the year.

If you think it's bad now, just wait until next week when the Patriots come to town! If the Browns can put up 41 on the Dolphins, you can probably envision that next week will be an absolute massacre. Will the spread of the game be higher than 21 points?

I'd say we'll probably trade it for a used-up, backup quarterback, but we only do that with 2nd round picks. We'll probably draft a punter. |

I think the point is that we spent a top ten pick on a guy who is way worse than a guy who we had and traded away for a second round pick.

Not to add salt to the wound, but of all the new WRs the Pats added this offseason, I gotta say I love watching Welker the most. Man is he leaving it all out on the field. His lateral to Moss last week (or was it the week before) was a thing of beauty. FM

To be fair, Ginn had 2 big returns this week, both negated by penalties. And the few balls that were thrown his way were behind him or sailing over his head.

With the clusterf*ck that was the QB situation last year. Welker caught 67 passes for 687 yards, 22.2 yards on kick returns and 9.2 yards on punt returns. I don't think it is unreasonale to think that he would have similar numbers this year if he were still with the Dolphins this year.

Umm never liked "1% amazing catches 99% drops" Chambers so... good riddance. Now let's just start the young guys like Beck, Ginn and even Lorenzo Booker (how sad is to have him, a 3rd rounder, not even active?) and to see how good they are, as there is nothing else to do this season than to tank and to try to develop and test the "future" of this franchise.

Sadly that was sent to me by a Browns fan from the Akron Beacon Journal. A bit of trash talk before the game on Sunday.

Can't beleive I've missed this thread so far... Every Miami game has been live on TV over here so far, and I've sat through 5 of them (would have been 6 but family emergency dictated otherwise). We are horrible. So bad if they weren't my team I'd be laughing at us. I would never wish an injury on a player, but now Green is out, it is the best thing for the team. He was 38 and absolutely the worst QB I have seen in years. It was painful to watch. Cleo looked OK against the Browns, but whenever he was under pressure he looked like he shit his pants. Even the play to Ginn he was lucky to get away from the rush, although once he did it was a nice pass again. But tbh I can;t get past having a QB actually wearing a label 'Lemon' on his back. And if he's the future, why the f**k did we spend a 2nd rounder on someone to hold a clipboard? You've got to give a new HC time, but Cam's not helping himself with his personnel decisions - Ginn may turn out to be good in years to come, but it's a horrible short term move when aligned with 2nd & 3rd round picks that are inactive when eveyone else is healthy. Unless he is aiming for another couple of years of early draft picks to build a good roster... And to help out our healthy QB corps that have 2 NFL starts between them, he gets rid of our top receiver for a 2nd round pick . Way to help a rookie out, put another rookie, who by your own admission isn't ready to start in the NFL yet, instead of your leading receiver over the past few years. I was really looking forward to the Wembley game, now it's only going to be an experience, rather than going with any expectation or hope of seeing my team actually win.

How sad is it that we are actually quoting an 81.6 QB rating as the golden child we could have had? And I agree with the sentiment: I can't believe we spent a 2nd round pick to rehabilitate Culpepper before releasing him for free.

Miami is obviously so loaded with talent at the WR position that they can afford to trade away Chris Chambers and Wes Welker for second round picks. Besides, it's not like the Patriots are likely to win the Super Bowl and turn that second into the 64th pick overall. No, that possibility seems quite remote to me.

Exactly. The fact that Culpepper even has a QB rating is enough to make the whole deal look bad.

So I come home from a long stressful day at work to find this? Dolphins traded Chambers? Was Chambers not a family friend of Cameron?
Sure, Chambers never did develop into that #1 receiver he was supposed to be. But really, look who has been throwing him the ball over the years. I don't think that Marvin Harrison or Jerry Rice could have developed on this team, it's been so bad. Didn't Can't Cameron just come from San Diego? Is he doing them a favor or something? That dumbass is probably just sucking some residual dick in San Diego or something. I'm actually surprised Mueller is allowing this to happen. He's made some good decisions for other teams, but has been a complete bonehead since blessing Miami with his lack of intelligence. With this second round pick, Can't will probably just draft a kick-holder or longsnapper who is a family friend or a 3rd string QB who is a family friend. Course, this all comes back down to Fat Fuck Wayne Huizinga, who I hope FUCKING DIES so I can shit on his grave. I just have no hope for this team anymore, and I don't see any lights at the end of this tunnel.

Chambers is horrible. One of the worst starting receivers in the NFL. They guy had a catch rate of 39% last year and 49% in his pro bowl year of '05.
Blame the Quarterbacks? Its a small part of the problem compared to Chambers' horrible ability to beat the jam, catch the ball, or run any route that isn't a straight line down the field. Welker had a catch rate of 67% last year and 56% in '05. Booker was 61% last year and 45% the year before. The Dolphins were lucky to get a 2nd round pick for him. |

I know Chambers wasn't a true #1, but IMO he was the only decent receiver we had left. Hell, maybe I should move to Miami and try out for the Dolphins.

dola, it's just after 5 am here, so I'm hoping this Chambers trade is just a bad dream, especially since Marino, Culpepper and Chambers and the 3 Dolphins jerseys I have.
Not that that means anything of course.
