I think I was among the first 50ish members of The Sideline, and I know I was one of the ones banned by good ol' Stix (then re-instated a few days later.)

16. Started in 2000. Seems a long time to act as a background singer around here, but I've always enjoyed the discussions. Fun times. As I get older, the number of websites I religiously check has dwindled. This is definitely in my top 10.

I posted occasionally on the Sideline, then my roommate moved away and took his computer. When I got internet access back the Sideline was closed and it took me a while to figure out where everyone went. Hence the 10/30/2000 join date for my first handle, JeeberDMack.

While I've only officially been a member since 2003, I know I encountered FOFC (or a prior incarnation of it) not long after I graduated college. I wasn't a regular visitor until I finally bought TCY, though.

I can't remember how I first discovered FOF. I know it was right around the time when a patch came out that had Ricky Williams in it as a rookie....so it was version 1.1 or something like that. Was it in a computer magazine as a demo at one point??? Or did I search for it? I just remember calling up Solecismic to phone order the thing and it was a glorious moment in my computer gaming life because the game itself was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. I just don't really remember where the internal-buzz in my mind came from that made me want to order it on-line.....probably because I'm old.
