You have visions of Romo and Whitten under the covers in their hotel room often?

Yeah, because the last week's loss had nothing to do with Plax not being there. OK.

I would have a little internal discord than a huge court case hanging over the team. And honestly, I don't think this is as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be. I can totally see Romo laughing it off...

You're delusional then.

But if you want your answer to everything to be " at least he didn't shoot himself in the leg" then so be it.

IMO it's a week reply. TO is a guy who has wrecked yet another team, read the quotes from the unnamed players. It's a big deal.

dola- While obviously losing Plax hurts on field, but it certainly isn't going to drive the players on the team apart.

Didn't Lathum say something about not needing Plaxico, and how Hixon will take his place or something? I could've sworn something at least close to that was said.

I like both TO and Plaxico. But if TO blows up this Cowboys team, and now that Plaxico is going to jail... then I don't like them near as much anymore.

If Jeeber's reply bothers you, you may want to watch this weekend's Dallas/New York game with the sound off. Surely comparisons are going to be made repeatedly throughout the entire game. Pregame and postgame too.

nah, its sunday night. MADDEN.

In that case, there might not be enough time to talk about TO and Plax comparisons since Madden needs that time to talk about the practice sled and how 1st downs work.

Those familiar with me through various FOF leagues, usually I get a kick out of figuring out playoff scenarios going into a round of games. I figured I could try and do that at FOFC for the NFL games as well. Here are the NFL week 15 clinch scenarios (after the Chicago-New Orleans game):

On the AFC side
1st Tennessee Titans
* clinched division and bye week
* clinch home field advantage with a win + Pittsburgh loss/tie, or a tie + Pittsburgh loss

2nd Pittsburgh Steelers
* clinch division with a win

3rd Denver Broncos
* clinch division with a win or tie or a San Diego loss or tie

5th Indianapolis Colts
* clinch wild card with win + NY Jets loss or tie + New England loss or tie + Miami loss or tie

Also alive in the AFC:
4th New York Jets
6th Baltimore Ravens
7th New England Patriots
8th Miami Dolphins
9th Buffalo Bills
11th San Diego Chargers

On the NFC side

1st New York Giants
* clinched division
* clinch bye week with win or tie or Minnesota loss or tie
* cannot clinch home field advantage due to week 16 game vs Carolina

2nd Carolina Panthers
* clinch wild card with win + Atlanta or Dallas loss or tie, with tie + two from Atlanta loss, Dallas loss and Philadelphia loss or tie

4th Arizona Cardinals
* clinched division

Also alive in the NFC:
3rd Minnesota Vikings
5th Tampa Bay Buccaneers
6th Dallas Cowboys
7th Atlanta Falcons
8th Philadelphia Eagles
9th Chicago Bears
10th Washington Redskins
11th New Orleans Saints
12th Green Bay Packers

As any QB who has played with him can tell you, you are only TO's QB and teammate when you throw to him and only him.

Maybe TO needs to go clubbing with Plaxico...

ESPN - Source: Terrell Owens, Jason Witten have verbal confrontation

Quote:
While the Dallas Cowboys were trying to downplay a possible rift between Terrell Owens and Jason Witten, the two nearly came to blows on Friday, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram first reported Saturday.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen, according to team sources, confirmed an incident occurred at the Cowboys training facility when Witten tried to engage Owens in a conversation about a pass route. Owens told Witten to stay away from him and called him a name. The two exchanged words before being separated.

Wonder if it was poophead?

It's amazing how good T.O is at tearing apart lockers. Defensive guys are supporting him per reports, despite the fact that he has been the problem for multiple teams.

Didn't all the defensive guys support him in Philly also?

Thigpen again looks good on the opening drive for the Chiefs. Drives the team down the field and then on a instant replay reversal gets a TD.

Not at that time in the game DeTox that I am aware of (not watching that game, just following on a blog). Chiefs had an injury timeout earlier. I'm guessing timeouts at that point in the game

I can't wait for the late games as there are some good ones today. The early games are atrocious. NY-Buffalo has been better than I thought, but the most entertaining thing I've seen so far is some Arab guy throwing his shoes at George W. Bush. The shoes did not have explosives in them, unfortunately.

My favorite NFL name this year: the Falcons Harry Douglas. In a game with names like Aqib Talib and Sabby Piscitelli it's nice to hear such a bland, normal-sounding name.

The Jets are moving the ball well with the running game until Favre launches a ball up for grabs into double coverage. He is single handidly keeping Buffalo in this game. The 1st INT he threw wasn't really his fault, but it gave momentum to Buffalo. Lynch is having a great game against a tough D.

What ahorrible season for the Lightning Bolts.

Who thought that both participants in the AFC Title Game would be out of the playoffs in Week 14 (and the Chargers are about to officially knock themselves out of the playoff picture for good)

I think it was the pointing him back to the field that made it for me (didn't see that until the replay), you could imagine the soundtrack that went with it.

Niners have been controlling this game since the end of the first half, but Miami's defense has come up huge in the red zone.

Can we get into the endzone on this possession please...
