On my entire iTunes library, no filters (such as weeding out classical and/or holiday music), which is ~8600 songs or so:
1) A Snowflake Fell (And It Felt Like a Kiss) - Glasvegas 2) Charlie Boy - The Lumineers 3) Act 2-09: Goodbye Cid... (Hey Cid!) - FFIV Remix 4) Minuet in Blues - Barney Bigard & His Orchestra 5) Rock Star - N.E.R.D 6) Symphony No. 8 in B Minor, D. 759, "The Unfinished": I. Allegro moderato - Schubert 7) Circle of Friends - Better Than Ezra 8) La Danse Macabre (Lich Yard) - Shovel Knight Soundtrack 9) Moorea - Gipsy Kings 10) Music Box (from Candyman) - Philip Glass More soundtracks and classical than I'd have expected, to be honest. Also, keep 'em coming! Or if you just want to suggest some music you think I absolutely need to check out, drop me a PM or post here or send a FB message. /tk

How often you figure we should take another crack at it to see what comes up? 10-14 days maybe? (I find it oddly interesting to see what my randoms end up being, I usually Tweet & tags the artists on a 5 song set about every other week or so, surprising how many will RT it)

10-14 days seems like a good guess, unless you're doing different sources.
I too am regularly surprised by the randomness of "random" sometimes. And sometimes by the non-randomness. One day I had a playlist that has ~3800 songs on it turned on to random. 4 songs out of the first 10 were Linkin Park (which I assure you doesn't comprise 40% of my library ). /tk

Only 2 Boyz II Men songs in my ~8700 song library on the computer. If you're into video game music (judging by your Lost Odyssey entry), you might be interested in Project Majestic and/or Vinyl Fantasy 7...let me know if you need more info. /tk

Send me over info you have. I've always loved video game music, but haven't really explored it outside of playing the games themselves and the Minibosses (who are pretty freaking awesome). My roommate has thousands upon thousands of video game soundtrack songs and I've been bulling my way through them, but haven't really had any rhyme or reason to my exploration. |
