This may be the first and only time men are paying attention to the details of a dress. I'm more interested to what's underneath when the lady wears it.

This is making me go insane, I think. I want to see the blue/black, and I just cannot.

It's also kind of creeping me out a little bit.

I see white/gold so clearly that it wouldn't have ever occurred to me that others might see differently.

I was thinking exactly this, scrolled back up and it was very clearly blue/black and I couldn't see how it could ever have been white gold. That was on my phone. Now I'm on my desktop and it's white/gold again.

Quite a mind fuck.

I always start out seeing it as white, but as the saying goes, once it goes black, it doesn't come back.

The first time I saw it, it was white and gold. Then I scrolled back up the page and it was blue and black.

No matter what tricks I try, I can't seem to see any colors but Blue + Gold. I can't see white no matter how I try at all. The Gold at times when I change the contrast on my monitor kind of looks black, but I think its just because everything looks really dark then.

So I guess I'm in the Blue+gold camp

It was white and gold, went to grab a coworker to look at it and when I came back it was blue and black. Never refreshed the page.

In no instances do I see white (could be my monitor?). I consistently see lightish blue. As far as the other color, I see gold/dark gold

It was white and gold for me this morning at home. Came to work to show my co-workers and was stunned to see it as blue and black. This kind of thing scares me, it shakes my idea of a constant reality and a firm belief in my own sanity.

For the first time I was able to switch it from White/Gold to Blue/Black without looking away from it. I consider this my achievement of the week.

I hope none of you white/gold people have a job where pushing colored buttons factors into it in any way, because if so you've probably accidentally killed hundreds of people by now.

At first, naturally, I thought that I, as a white/gold person, was correct and that all you blue/black people were dangerous psychopaths, but now I'm starting to question myself. Maybe you're right, maybe I do pose a serious danger to the community at-large. I hope somebody stops me before its too late. You might even say that I want to get caught.

So far, the only way I can manage to kinda see the blue/black is to squint nearly completely, and inch my view up from the bottom.

Love this, though.

This is an odd one for me. Actually first heard this on Mike & Mike this morning, looked at the TV and it was clearly Black and Blue. I couldnt find white or gold if I tried.

Then this thread on now 3 laptops it is white and gold and I cant find blue or black.

Then the local news just ran a segment on it and sure enough blue and black again (or really brown and grey)...I think the right answer is lets see it on the floor...

Okay, I'm a believer. I'm still seeing blue and brown, but in much darker shades than I did when I posted the first time, just two hours ago.

I firmly believe it's all about your monitor/screen setting. My monitor at work is very bright, while my home PC and iPhone are not. Don't understand why it's more complicated than that unless teh internets are bored.

I'm constantly seeing it as different colors on the same monitor and other people are seeing completely different from me when we're all looking at it at the same time.

I can't believe this thing blew up like it did. Especially since it has been proven that it is a blue dress, there is no white.

Hang around people. I was walking around work last night asking people to tell me what color this dress on my phone was, and it was definitely a house divided

Just remembered something. There was an optical illusion that showed a yellow circle surrounded by a dark color and another yellow circle surrounded by a light color. People have sworn that they were two different colors of yellow when in fact, they were identical. Is that what is going on here?
