Yeah, I did know that. Given how bad he looked this year, its hard to remember that he once showed improvement and promise.

Baltimore vs Chicago has been pushed until 4:15 because of snow on Sunday.

I agree, regardless of QB rating comparisons. VY is a winner, Jabustus is not.

2006 QB Rating for Vince Young (in 15g) = 71.1
2008 QB ratings
Brett Favre 81.0
Joe Flacco 80.3
Ben Roethlisberger 80.1
Jamarcus Russell 77.1

2009 QB Ratings
Matt Ryan 80.0
Jay Cutler 75.2
Matt Cassel 68.3
Mark Sanchez 63.7
Matt Stafford 61.0
Josh Freeman 55.4

I mean, I think VY (and Vick) are underrated by QB rating because they open up the running game, and Jamarcus has regressed this year, but it's amazing what a good running game and defense do to people's perceptions of a QB. (Example #2 - Jason Campbell)

I understand that the Saints DL is much weaker without Ellis, but I can't understand why the rest of the unit looks like the walking dead at the start of every game.

The Bears have yet to make it to Baltimore. They are hoping to get out of the city tonight and into Baltimore. I know whether is bad, but this still feels like an incompetent organization who couldn't plan to leave a little earlier for the trip.

The Bears have the same chance to win whether they make it there or not.

Sad but probably true. I don't expect the Bears to do much more to help out Miami than the Lions could do last week.

If the Saints keep this up, this will be their most impressive comeback of the year.

That was a great one, but down 21 points to start the 4th tops it for me if they finish this off. Not to mention, the pressure of maintaining perfection is higher than earlier in the year. Anyway, impressive 4th quarter so far. Saints are down 24-17 with 8 minutes to go.

Good points.

On a side note I think Deshaun picked a bad time to start talking about how unstoppable their offense is with a fiesty defense just looking to shut him up. I am pretty sure Singletary used that as ammunition all week to fire his boys up

I haven't heard Matt Millen color commentate a game in ten years, since I was eleven years old..

As soon as I heard his voice, I thought, "I hate Matt Millen. Is that really him?"

And it was.

And his commentary is just as annoying as I remember from my childhood.

Excellent.. but it is up to their kicker now. Can the Saints get another short kick missed... yes they do!!!

Dallas kicker misses it (off the upright) from 24 yards out!

That is amazing. Is there really not some old kicker out there who can just hit kicks consistently under 40 yards?

If the Cowboys now lose this game, anyone who blames Romo for "another December loss" is a moron.

Just calling it in advance.

Wow. I don't remember seeing such an important chip shot missed since... 1997, week 2 or 3, when Ryan Longwell missed a kick from under 30 to cause the Packers to lose to the Eagles. Granted, I don't watch a ton of football.

The Saints were playing the Redskins 2-3 weeks ago and the Skins kicker missed a 21-22 yarder in this exact same situation. It is really bizarre how everything is going the Saints way right now.

Only 38 seconds left to go 61 yards..

Saints get a 1st and get out of bounds. They are on their own 45.

Ware with a sack and forced fumble to end the game and the Saints' shot at perfection.

Big win by the Cowboys and hopefully this slows down the Saints just a bit.

Great comeback attempt by them once again. Imagine how great they would be if they started playing before the 2nd half.

Hard to imagine the Saints at their worst losing to Tampa, so as a Vikings fan you have to root for the Vikings to win out and the Panthers to beat the Saints at Carolina in week 17.

As far as the game, the Saints weaknesses from injuries were finally fully exposed. Kudos to the Saints coaching staff for hiding them somewhat with smoke and mirrors up to this point, but without Ellis the Saints DTs couldn't help provide any pressure on Romo or any push in run defense. Without Greer and with Porter 80%, the secondary just isn't up to par. Bushrod (Brown's replacement this year) was shown as a clear weak link in pass protection tonight. (Add in Brees having one of his worst games of the season, and you have the recipe for the loss.)

If the defense isn't healthy for the playoffs, we will have some issues in the post season.

Ive all but given up on home field as realistically the Saints arent going to lose again and the Vikings coudl very easily lose the Giants game week 17 if it means anything to them.

If the Saints would have pulled tonights game out I would have lost all hope of them losing a game this season. Someone had mentioned earlier about "that dream season" when everything goes you way. Having 2 teams within a month miss chippy FGs and have the Saints fight their way back would have had me convinced that this is the Saints "dream season."

Any other year Id be rooting hard for the Saints to get to the Super Bowl. Its unfortunate to me that their great season has to happen the same year as the Vikings are as strong as they have been in 12 years.
