Boy did Troy Bates get robbed. He was #3 in the Big East in total Sacks with 13.0 and he had 48 tackles, 19 for a loss and 28 QB hurries. Dennis and Moldano (two DEs on 2nd Team) didn't have stats as good as Bates did.

Commentary on Summery

We were DEAD LAST in number of turnovers in the NATION. Next to last in Turnover Margin. That HAS to change.

Ranked #119 in Rushing defense. That has to addressed.

Good news, we were 24th in the nation in Passing Defense, so atleast I have that going for me.

We were 2nd from last in rushing offense, but that doesn't concern me much since we are in a Run and Shoot. Ford had an average of 4.82 yards per carry and Jefferson had an average of 4.73 yards per carry.

Perhaps I should look for an Offensive Coordinator that uses a different system.

Bjorlin adds 35 catches to his career making for a total of 125 receptions in 3 seasons. (39, 51, 35)

Noll led the team with 45 receptions, which is only about 1/4th of all receptions. That tells me Kelly at least knows how to spread the ball around.

Bates pwns.

Freeman and Horn did a decent job. Basile did too. Just not good enough. Freeman and Horn still have a lot of potential to live up too. Maybe next season they will improve some and turn that middle into a no-mans-land.

Finely did good with 5 Ints and 10 passes defensed. He had a PDPct of 23.1
