Johnny Lee ‘Juice’ Paris vs. David ‘The Assassin’ Gonzalez

Both fighters are in perfect shape for this fight.



Round 1 was very even. At the bell, Paris landed a huge uppercut that staggered Gonzalez back and right into his corner for the break. That one last impression of the round may have given the round to Paris.

Paris came out in round 2 looking to follow up that big uppercut in round 1, and follow up he did. He just threw every punch he had and was landing most of them. Gonzalez was in a world of hurt and retreated into a neutral corner. Paris followed him in and just unleashed on Gonzalez, until the ref had to literally pull him off his man and stop this fight. Gonzalez slumped in the corner and went down, after the fight was already over!


The winner, by TKO at the 2:55 mark of Round 2 is JOHNNY LEE ‘JUICE’ PARIS!!!!

FOFC Tournament Quarter Finals, from The Palais des Sports in Cannes, Frances. Fight Date: 5/14/2004


Jeff ‘Jellybean’ Nights (1-0) vs. Chris ‘Silver Subby’ Shue (1-0)

Both fighters are in tip top shape for the first of the quarterfinal fights!


The tone for this fight was set just 20 seconds in. The fighters met at center ring and Shue started back peddaling away from the attacking Nights. Suddenly, Shue just stopped and popped, and Nights almost went down on that first punch. It took most of Nights early aggression away and Shue cruised to a first round victory.

Nights said he wanted to start out fast, but it is Shue who is dominating this fight through two rounds. He is landing when he wants and has no trouble dodging anything that Nights throws his way.

Nights and his corner got into a heated argument during the break and it seemed to fire Nights up. He came out and landed his first solid punches of the round. He slowed Shue down a bit, but Shue still got some solid work in. the round was even.

Nights finally seems to be finding himself in this fight and he is going toe to toe with Shue finally. Round 4 is another very even round.

Both fighters have just abandoned the jab and are slugging it out in center ring. Not much movement either. I thought these guys were boxers, and not sluggers! This is the third even round in a row now!

The fighters must have worn themselves down in the 5th, because in this round they went back to the jab and neither really threw much. Another even round. The last 4 rounds could have gone either way. Shue easily took the first two so I have to give him the slight edge halfway through the fight.

The fighters had some very nice exchanges in the 7th round. A late flurry by Nights gave him his first decisive round of the fight.

Nights kept the momentum he gained late in the last round and dominated Shue in the 8th, racking up another point on the judges cards.

Shue turned the tables in round 9, getting the better of some exchanges. Nights was forced to cover up and move around, avoiding Shue for most of the round.

Shue catches Nights off guard at the sound of the bell in the 10th rounds and sends him to the canvas for a very quick 2 count. Nights got right back up but Shue continued to pound him, picking up a 2 point round for himself!

The crowd gave the fighters a healthy round of boos in the 11th round for doing absolutely nothing but clinching.

Shue probably did enough to win this fight already, but he punctuated it with a very impressive round 12. We head to the cards.

Both fighters look to be in tip top shape as this fight is about to begin.



Neither of these fighters even know what the jab is. In round one, they are swinging for the fences, so to speak. Both fighters landed some clean shots, and the round was pretty even. Eckman might have hurt his hand on one punch the to the top of Kong’s head. He has been shaking it out ever since that punch.

Already in round 2, this is turning into your classic slugfest. Both fighters want the knockout. Jobe took the upper hand early in the round, but Kong come back strong to make it another pretty even round. I cannot imagine these two guys can take this much punishment for a full 12 rounds.

In round 3, Eckman looks like he is getting a bit predictable with his punches and Kong is doing a nice job avoiding them. Midway through the round, Kong throws a counter punch right into the ribcage of Eckman. I thought I heard a cracking sound as Eckman hit’s the canvas. He struggles to get up at the count of 8 and he is having trouble breathing. Kong couldn’t quite finish Eckman out in this round, but Jobu is in a world of trouble now.

Eckman sucks it up between rounds and comes out firing in the 4th, opening up a deep cut over the right eye of Kong. He follows with a strong combination that knocks Kong down for a 7 count! Eckman moves in for the kill after Kong gets up and gets him on the ropes. Eckman lands a series of combinations and Kong is not fighting back. The ref has no other choice but to stop this fight!


The winner by TKO at the 2:33 mark of Round 4 is JOBU ‘THE SUCKPUPPY’ ECKMAN!!!!!

Quarterfinal Bout:

David ‘The American Bear’ Yellope (1-0) vs. Colton ‘The Blade Bomber’ Mayes (1-0)

Yellope looks to be in perfect shape, but Mayes looks a bit thick in the middle, a sign of under training. We’ll have to see if it has any affect on him tonight.



Yellope comes out looking to get an early advantage and is popping the jab into the face of Mayes. He is also doing a great job of counterpunching and scoring with it. Mayes is able to sneak in some very clean right hands late in the round that did some nice damage, but I still have to give the round to Yellope.

Yellope didn’t have to look for Mayes in the second round, he was in his kitchen for three straight minutes. A very impressive round for Mayes. He landed clean and was able to throw off anything Yellope threw his way.

Mayes keeps up the momentum in round 3, getting the better of several exchanges the two fighters had. Right before the end of the round, Mayes connected on a wild right hook that sent Yellope stumbling backwards, into the ropes and then his knees buckled and one hit the canvas. It is scored as a knockdown, although it was only for a count of 1.

Yellope is in a world of trouble here in round 4. Mayes is all over him like flies on shit, and he cannot shake him off. Mayes even snuck in a semi-low blow in there which the ref did not see. Yellope is not looking good as this round ends.

In round 5, Yellope tries to keep Mayes at bay with some jabs and some effective counter punching, but Mayes is still able to get some clean hard rights in there and he easily takes yet another round.

Mayes gets a bit careless in round 6, and Yellope is too good of a fighter to do that against. David sees his opening and launches a nice attack to the body and then upstairs. Mayes is stunned and then he goes down! He shakes it off and gets up pretty quickly, the ref only counted to 4. Mayes gets out of the round, but Yellope scored a very badly needed 2 point round and halfway through the fight he has cut down Mayes’s lead quite a bit.

In round 7, Mayes shows little ill effect from the knockdown and is all over Yellope again. Towards the end of the round he had Yellope pinned in the corner and went to work on the face of The American Bear. After the round, Yellope’s corner needs to get to work on him, as Yellope has a pretty nasty swelling developing around his right eye.

In round 8, I think Yellope realizes his eye might cause the ref to stop this fight soon, so he is going all out trying to end the fight. He is landing some crippling blows, but with all the action, he is leaving himself wide open and Mayes is taking the opportunity. One straight right splits Yellope’s lip open and another hard right cuts him up under his left eye. His swollen right eye is taking a beating as well. Seriously, Yellope’s face looks like ground beef right now. I think he should throw in the towel.

Yellope knows this could be stopped at any time and he continues to try to get the knockout in the 9th, and by god, he almost got it too! He went to work on Mayes in this round, and had him just about out on his feet. If there were just 30 seconds left in the round, I don’t think Mayes would have lasted. Yellope is clearly showing the heart of a champion, but I am not sure it will be enough. The good news for Yellope is that Mayes now has a swelling in his left eye. Both fighters are really beat up and in bad shape!

In round 10, both fighters don’t want to be at the mercy of the ref stopping this fight and they are going all out. Mayes gets the better of the exchanges and late in the round he puts Yellope to the canvas for an 8 count! That knockdown should clinch this fight on the cards for Mayes, I think, but can either of these fighters get through two more rounds?

Both fighters are exhausted in round 11. Yellope knows he is behind and fights like it too, he is doing all he can to put Mayes down, but credit Mayes for taking quite a beating in the 11th round and remaining on his feet!

In the 12th and final round, Yellope again goes after Mayes and throws everything he has. Unfortunatly for Yellope that leaves him wide open and Mayes connects with just one huge right hand that sends Yellope down for the count. Yellope, with the heart of a champ, tries his best to get up, but his tired legs just won’t allow it. At the count of 7 he crumples back to the canvas and this fight is history!


The winner, by Knockout, at the 0:58 mark of Round 12 is COLTON ‘THE BLADE BOMBER’ MAYES!!!!!!!!


This was by far the best fight in the short history of FOFC Boxing. An Insta-Classic if you will.

Both fighters enter the ring in perfect shape for their first ever fights.



This fight almost didn’t make it out of the first round. Catalan came out and just overwhelmed Roe like I have never seen a fighter dominate a round before. I think the ref was about to stop the beating when the bell rang to end this round. Catalan looked like a 5 time champ going against an amateur.

Catalan looks a bit tired after throwing so many punches in round 1, but Roe just looks out on his feet. Catalan has another big round and I think Catalan is just waiting for that one more opportunity to end this thing.

Through three rounds, the only good thing I can say about Roe is that he has been able to stay on his feet, despite an amazing display of power and speed from Catalan. This is a huge mismatch so far.

In round 4, I am not sure if Catalan has spent his load and is tired of swinging, or if he is just biding his time. Either way, it gave Roe some confidence and he started to find his spots and land some punches. Give the round to Roe.

Catalan takes things a bit more seriously in round 5, and goes back to work on Roe, winning the round easily. You have to give credit to Roe for having an amazing chin. I would have been down and out long ago.

In round 6, we are witnessing some real guts from Roe. As much as he has been getting pummeled, and continued to get pummeled in this round, he just keeps moving forward into Catalan. In this round, Roe caught Catalan with a nice clean punch and cut him open under his left eye! I would say the round was dead even in scoring. Catalan looks frustrated that he cannot finish this fight off, and that Roe just keeps coming at him even after he bombards him with punches.

Round 7 is another very even round. I still think Catalan has a wide margin in this fight, but you have to respect the effort Roe is giving, he just keeps coming after Catalan even after Catalan stops him with combination after combination.

In round 8, Catalan continues to land at will on Roe, but Roe is like a machine, just shrugging it off and coming forward. Roe finally catches Catalan with an exposed body and lays into his ribs, sending Catalan down to the mat for a 5 count! Catalan gets up and takes some pops to the face, causing his eye to swell up as well. Catalan gets out of the round, but he looks extremely frustrated right now!

Roe has totally turned this fight around in the 9th round. He is now landing with much more effectiveness than Catalan. What once looked like a blowout victory for Catalan has now become an all out brawl for survival for Catalan.

In round 10, Catalan regroup and is getting the better of Roe for about the first 90 seconds. Roe finally finds an opening and lands right on that swollen eye of Catalan, bursting it open and sending blood everywhere. The ref steps in to look at Catalan’s eye. He calls the ringside doctor up and the doctor calls an end to the fight! An amazing comeback for Roe who looked like a beaten man after just two rounds!!!


The winner, by TKO at the 2:44 mark of Round 10 is GERTBEEF ‘ICE’ ROE!!!!!!


Looking at the judges cards, they all had Roe winning the last 4 rounds, one of them by a 10-8 score. The final tallied had this fight as a draw at the time of stoppage. All the judges had that first round scored 10-8 for Catalan, even though there wasn’t a knockdown.

Quarterfinal Bout #3


Johnny Lee ‘Juice’ Paris (1-0) vs. Rupert ‘King of Comedy’ Pupkin (1-0)

Both fighters come to the ring in perfect shape tonight.



Paris has a very fast start in this fight. He comes out swinging and has Pupkin covering up and trying to weather the storm. A very easy victory for Paris in round 1.

Paris keeps it going in round 2, easily winning on points, but Pupkin is starting to find his groove it appears. He also landed some nice clean shots.

Pupkin is looking better and better in each round, and in round 3, he gets the upper hand on Paris. Paris is caught throwing an elbow and is issued a warning from the referee in charge. I would give this round to Pupkin, his first.

So far the fight has been a bit boring, but in round 4, Paris takes back the advantage and lands some of the first good power punches of the fight. Paris had Pupkin stunned a bit in this round and took some of the wind out of his sails.

The fighters are now swapping rounds, as round 5 was a clear victory for Pupkin. He got some damage down in this round. Neither fighters really looks hurt, or even tired for that matter, which is surprising because they can both hit with power and both won by KO’s in their first fights.

We finally see the big power shots in round 6. Both fighters landed an equal amount and both are feeling the effects. It is a pretty poorly fought fight so far, with both guys not taking many chances and laying back, defending themselves. Halfway through the fight, it is very even, but I might give a tiny advantage to Paris for the better start.

Round 7 is clearly the turning point of this fight. Paris came out and nailed Pupkin with a huge right that sent him into the ropes. Pupkin faked like he was in trouble and when Paris moved in for the kill, Pupkin exploded with a serious combination that sent Paris down to the canvas for a 9 count! As soon as Paris got up, Pupkin sent him down again, for an 8 count. Paris was able to get back up and finish the round, but he is in some serious trouble!

In round 8, Pupkin must have forgotten that he had Paris almost beat in the last round, because he came out very tentative. Paris took advantage of the situation and gave Pupkin a serious beating. It seemed like Paris was finished, but in this round, he looks like the fresher fighter! An amazing quick turnaround for Paris!

Both fighters are pretty exhausted here in the 9th round and there is not much action. Give the advantage to Pupkin for pushing it and being a bit more aggressive.

Round 10 is another slow round. Pupkin is the more active fighter and landed some clean blows though.

It looks like these guys are done fighting as round 11 saw very little action as well. Paris had the slight advantage on my card.

Paris closes the fight with a pretty impressive final round. I am not sure either of these fighters really wanted it the way they fought in the final 4 rounds, but if last impressions mean anything today, then Paris had the best one. We have to go to the cards to find out…..

Quarterfinal Bout #4, from Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. Fight Date: 6/1/2004


Mike ‘Blade’ Tokunaga (1-0) vs. Tony ‘Wildfire’ Williams (1-0)

Blade comes to the ring in perfect fighting shape. Williams, on the other hand, is said to not be ready for this fight physically, or mentally.



Reports said Williams was not ready for this fight, but his round 1 performance said otherwise. He did not dominate out there, but he held his own against Blade, and it appears he would have taken the round on the cards.

The boo birds are out early tonight as niether fighter is doing a darn thing in the ring. Williams is the only one who even looks like he wants to box. He is sticking and moving with a bit of effectiveness, so give him this round.

Most of round 3 was as slow as the rest of this fight, but Tokunaga finally threw some big rights and landed a couple of them square on the chin of Williams. Give the round to Blade, but right now, neither fighter deserves a spot in the semi-finals.

Williams got some very solid work in, in round 4. He was throwing some hooks to the body of Tokunaga, and also landed a nice right hand that has caused a tiny bit of swelling in Blade’s left eye. Williams should work on that now.

Williams is starting to take control of this fight in the 5th. He is trying to give some attention to the left eye of Blade and also taking his shots at the body. Not a very exciting fight, but Williams is being fairly effective.

Round 6 was pretty even, with neither fighter doing anything once again. I am not sure why Williams is holding back, because he seems to be getting open shots when he throws a punch. Tokunaga’s eye is still swollen, but as of yet it is not getting much worse. Halfway through the fight, give a small edge to Williams.

Tokunaga finally showed some signs of life in round 7. Williams is just going through the paces, and is leading this fight. Meanwhile, it just seems like if Tokunaga would apply himself, he could end this fairly quickly.

Lots of clinching, lots of booing from the crowd and very little action in round 8.

Williams got a bit of good work in, in round 9, so give him the round on the cards. He is probably stretching out a decent lead now, but I still don’t think either fighter cares about this fight. They are doing boxing a disservice right now.

Who do you give a round to when you got one guy sticking and jabbing and the other landing just a couple power punches? Williams is active and landing, but with barely any effect. Tokunaga is landing clean shots, but only a couple per round, and that is not going to cut it.

More of the same in round 11. Tokunaga’s eye is noticeably worst, but with just 3 minutes left in the fight, I don’t think it will be a factor. I would hope one of these guys comes out looking for a knockout in round 12.

Finally, the fight comes to an end. Both fighters survived 12 rounds, but win or lose, neither fighter could really be proud of the effort they put on.

Semi-Final #1

Chris ‘Silver Subby’ Shue (1-0-1) vs. Johnny Lee ‘Juice’ Paris (1-0-1)

Both fighters are in tip top shape and ready to claim a spot in the finals of this tournament!



A nice start for both fighters in the early going of round 1, but Paris lands a huge punch midway through the round which could have lasting effects on this fight. He split open the skin under Shue’s left eye. It looks to be a pretty bad cut. Paris easily takes the round after that, and Shue’s corner will be hard at work trying to stop the bleeding.

Great job by Shue’s corner to stop that bleeding already. Round 2 was pretty even to start once again, but once again, Paris turned up the heat late in the round to easily win it. Shue needs to fight for 3 minutes, and not just 2 like he has been.

Shue finally puts together a complete round in the 3rd. He returns the favor by cutting open Paris under his left eye. Now we will see if his corner can do as good of a job on it as Shue’s corner did. Give this round to The Silver Subby.

Paris comes out for round 4 still bleeding and while he is wiping his face with his glove, Shue lands a combination right into Paris’s gut and drops him to the canvas. Paris tries to catch his breath and struggles to get up at the count of 8! Paris did a good job avoiding Shue to get out of the round, but score that as a 2 pointer for Shue.

Just that quickly, Shue has turned this fight around and he continues to work Paris over in the 5th round. Another solid victory for Shue here.

There were some great exchanges in round 6, but Paris clearly doled out more damage and won the round. He just packs a more powerful punch than Shue, so if they land the same amount of shots, Shue is going to take more punishment. Midway through the fight, we are dead even.

As quickly as Shue turned the fight around before, Paris has done it in the last two rounds by just dominating The Silver Subby. Shue better be careful or Paris will start to open a decent lead on him.

In round 8, both fighters are sucking wind already and they both have their hands hanging low. Paris is the first to take the opportunity and he moves in close, lands a short clean combination and drops Shue for a 5 count! Shue gets back up, and Paris tries to finish him. I thought the ref would have been fine to stop the fight, but Shue gets out of the round alive.

Round 9 is another huge one for Paris as he drops the exhausted Shue to the canvas for an 8 count in this round! Shue is showing some great heart by getting up and finishing up another round, but to be honest, while he needs a knockout to win this now, I think he knows he doesn’t have the sting in his punches to get it done.

Round 10 is a landmark round for Shue. He got caught in the corner early on, but snuck out, turned Paris around so he was caught in the corner and then went to work on him. Paris hit the canvas after getting drilled in the chin with an uppercut! He answered the 6 count though and the fight continued! I guess I counted Shue out a bit too early!

Paris looked fine after that knockdown in the 10th and he comes out in the 11th and reasserts himself, picking up another point on the cards. Shue better get another knockdown, if not the knockout if he is going to have a chance.

In round 12, both fighters tried to give the judges a favorable last impression, but the last shots were landed by Paris, which just might be the punctuation mark on this fight. Lets go to the cards…

Semi-Finals #2

Tony ‘Wildfire’ Williams (2-0) vs. Colton ‘The Blade Bomber’ Mayes (2-0)

Mayes looks to be in great shape, as does Williams, but reports from Williams camp says he was overly cocky and did not train as hard as he could have.



Mayes came out looking for the early knockout, while Williams seems to have a game plan of hitting, moving and countering. So far, Williams strategy is working better and he takes the first round easily.

Round 2 is a very solid effort from Mayes. He landed some thumping shots to the body of Williams, and then when Williams covered up the body, Mayes went to the head and landed! A good win for Mayes in this round.

Williams went back to jabbing and countering in round 3, and it worked just as well as it did in round 1. If he sticks to that strategy, it could be a long night for Mayes.

In round 4, Williams didn’t go to the jab as much as he has been and he paid for it. I don’t know why he doesn’t stick with what is working. Mayes took the opportunity to land some more clean power shots and take the round.

Round 5 was very even because neither fighter did much of anything. Mayes looked like he was taking a rest to regain his strength. I am not sure what Williams was doing out there.

Williams got back to what he knows in round 6 and easily won it. I’ll tell you this…Williams produces some boring fights, but he is damn effective at what he does. We are halfway hme and I would give Williams a slight advantage.

It is nothing but jabs from Williams in round 7. One stiff jab might have broken the nose of Mayes because blood is rushing down his face now.

Mayes looks just completely frustrated with Williams. Williams doesn’t mind, he is more than happy to stick and move, stick and move and rack up the point son the cards. Round 8 is another win for Williams.

Mayes finally finds something that works in round 9, and he started pummeling Williams. Williams appeared out on his feet, but he just would not go down. The ref was right in the middle of the action taking a good look at Williams, but he let the round go on. A very solid round for Mayes.

Round 10 is another huge round for Mayes, as he is starting to dominate this fight and trying to end it by a knockout. Unfortunately for Mayes, he was caught landing a big elbow and had a point deducted by the referee.

Mayes has no taken complete control of this fight. He is dominating Williams and landing everything he throws! Williams has a chin of steel though and his knees won’t even buckle. To me, he doesn’t look shaky at all, but he has got to realize this fight is up for grabs in the final round.

Williams puts on quite a show to finish up this fight in the 12th round. We are going to go to the cards and see if that was the difference, or if he gave up to much in the late rounds.

Shane ‘Young Nastyman’ Kormelink vs. ‘King’ Charles Norton

Norton looks to be in perfect shape for his first bout. Kormelink on the other hand has been reported to be staying out awfully late during training and his management has had a hard time getting him in the gym!



Kormelink is trying to slow this fight down right away. He is throwing nothing but jabs, moving after throwing them and tying up Norton every time he tries to close in. Norton landed one clean shot only, but it was enough to make this round even.

The fans already despise Kormelink and his style of fighting. He throws a jab and run. When Norton is close he grabs him and clinches. Very boring boxing, but very effective in this round. Kormelink gets the easy win in this round.

No change to Shane’s strategy in round 3. Norton was again able to land one big right hand, but those are coming too few and far between.

Norton started getting his right hook in there this round, and landing it with some nice power. This is the first round he takes for sure.

Kormelink gets back to the jab in round 5 and has no trouble gaining that momentum back and scoring another round for himself.

Through 6 rounds, Kormelink has not hurt Norton at all and he looks ugly doing, but still, Shane is really dominating this fight. He is just going about his business scoring points left and right. I have him way ahead, 5 rounds to 1.

Round 7 is a decent one for Norton, as he is able to land a few powerful rights again, but Shane also did his thing and at best for Norton he made this an even round.

Norton opened up round 8 with a hard right that staggered Shane, but Kormelink regrouped and took the round, even finishing it with what might have been his first real power shot of the fight.

Kormelink starts bringing out the heavy artillery in the 9th round now that he has worn down Norton. Norton goes down after a stiff right cross to his jaw. He is able to get up at the count of 5, but Kormelink overwhelms him and if this was not a 3 point round for Shane, it was easily a 2 pointer.

Koremlink has done plenty to win this fight and he is just trying to avoid Norton and any chance of a lucky punch. Score this round even.

Norton is totally out of gas and Kormelink easily takes round 11, and he is cruising into the 12th round, where only an unlikely knockout will lose this fight for him.

Not much action at all in round 12. Norton has nothing left to throw at Shane. We go to the cards for the formality.

Lytic ‘Ravenhawk Killa’ Virus vs. Alexander ‘KGB’ Yakushev


Both fighters appear to be in perfect shape for this fight.



The two men are feeling each other out in round 1. Virus gets an early warning for backhanding. The two fighters had a couple decent exchanges. I would say Virus got the better of the round, but only by a very slight margin.

Yakushev lands an early right cross that hurt Virus. Virus slowed down after that and did a lot of clinching. I think that shot really did some damage. An impressive round for Yakushav though and he takes it with ease.

Round 3 looked just like round 2. Virus is clinching and holding quite a bit. You have to wonder if he is hurt, or if something is wrong. KGB doesn’t care, he is landing some crushing shots and making sure something is wrong with Virus.

KGB is continuing to have his way in this fight. He is landing some very hard punches. Credit Virus for a strong chin, but he is falling behind early in this fight, and does not seem to have a real gameplan right now.

Round 5 was very even for the first 2 and a half minutes, but then Virus found and opening and popped KGB with 1, 2, then three straight rights in a row to send him reeling. The fight may have changed right here in the 5th!

KGB comes out in round 6 and targets the body of Virus. He lands a thundering hook to the ribcage of Virus that drops him to the canvas. Virus is able to get back up at the count of 8. KGB couldn’t quite finish him off in the 6th round, but he scored a solid 2 point round and is running away with this fight right now.

KGB did not really go after Virus in the 7th round like he should have after scoring the knockdown. Virus took the opportunity to score a big round for himself with some solid right hand shots.

Both fighters landed saome massive punches in round 8, dealing out a lot of damage to their opponent. KGB got the better of the round though and tore up Virus’s face under his right eye. There is nice steady stream of blood flowing now.

I don’t know where he found the energy, but Virus has gotten himself right back into the fight with a huge 9th round. The only thing keeping KGB up was the corner ropes at the end of this round. I don’t think anybody would have complained if the ref stopped this fight, but KGB showed some heart staying on his feet and getting out of the round.

KGB was trying to regroup and Virus was trying to catch his second wind after such an active 9th round. So this 10th round was slow and pretty even. It is pretty important as to who got this round on the cards though. It could have gone either way.

Round 11 is another very close round, with both fighters landing hard punches and trying to score a knockdown which would swing the fight in their favor. I still see KGB as the slight favorite right now though.

Round 12 is going to go down as one for the ages. Virus was all over KGB, just pummeling him with lefts and rights. It is almost not right that KGB did not go down. And then with just 9 seconds left, Virus walked right into a telegraphed hook and caught it square in the nose. He dropped like a rock and we’ll never know if the final bell saved him or not, but he was still getting up when it sounded. I think this final round clinched it for KGB, but lets see what the judges thought.

Jobu ‘The Suckpuppy’ Eckman (1-0) vs. David ‘The American Bear’ Yellope (1-1)


Jobu looks to be in perfect shape, as does Yellope. Yellope’s people told us that they couldn’t keep him out of the gym. The only concern is that he left the fight in the gym and overtrained.



In round 1, Yellope could not keep Jobu off of him. Eckman was clearly looking for the early knockout to rub it into Yellope, and he was hammering him with huge right hands. Yellope needs to regroup after that round!

Yellope gets Eckman pinned on the ropes early in round 2. He lands the hook to the head and then when Eckman covers up he shoots the right into the ribcage, dropping Eckman to the canvas for a 5 count!! Yellope goes in for the kill and about a minute later he nails Jobu with a straight right that buckles his knees! One touches the canvas and it is ruled a knockdown! Jobu barely survives the round!

Jobu comes out and shows Yellope he still has some snap in his punches. He lands several clean shots that move Yellope backwards. Very late in the round, Yellope catches Eckman square in the chin and drops him once again, this time for an 8 count. Jobu gets back up and gets out of the round, but he is in deep trouble after only 3 rounds!

Eckman has his first solid round of the fight, landing a bunch of power shots and out landing Yellope 2 to 1 in the round. I don’t know if Jobu’s punches have the same sting on them that they normally would though.

Those knockdowns seem like a long time ago now as Jobu is finally figuring things out and puts together another very solid round. He is landing some clean shots to the face of Yellope now. Score this one for Jobu.

Yellope regains control of the fight in the 6th round. He throws a right cross that seemed to come out of nowhere. It lands square on the chin of Jobu and he falls to the mat once again. He gets back up at the count of 6 this time. Yellope continues to go to work on Jobu, but he gets out of the round. He does have a nice swollen left eye to show for his troubles though.

Round 7 saw very little action, but I would give it to Jobu for working the jab a bit more.

Yellope goes back to work on Jobu in round 8. Landing shot after shot on the face of Jobu. About 80 seconds in, Yellope has a point deducted by the ref for holding and hitting. After the brief stoppage, Yellope goes right back to work on Jobu. He backs him into a corner and it is just a flurry of punches by Yellope. He doesn’t stop until the ref has to force his way in between the two fighters, waving his hands. This fight has come to an end!


The winner by TKO at the 2:48 mark of Round 8 is DAVID ‘THE AMERICAN BEAR’ YELLOPE!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. It is time for the Main Event. Twelve rounds of boxing for the Vacant FOFC Heavyweight Title of the World.

In the Red corner, fighting out of Oveido, Florida in the US of A. He has a professional record of 2 victories without a loss, 1 of those victories coming by way of knockout. He also has 1 draw on his record. His name is JOHNNY LEE ‘JUICE’ PARIS!


And fighting out of the blue corner, hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also has a professional record of 2 wins without a loss and 1 draw. He is TONY ‘WILDFIRE’ WILLIAMS!


This bout is scheduled for 12 rounds and is sanctioned by the New York boxing authority. The referee in charge is XXX. The 3 judges scoring the fight on the 10 point must system are AAA, BBB, and CCC. The ringside doctor is AAABBB.



Both fighters come to center ring for the referee’s instructions. They look to be in perfect shape. They touch gloves and we are ready to rumble!



The two fighters dance around for the first minute of the fight. Then Williams throws a hook which Paris dodges, then counters with a barrage of punches, mostly landing. Paris keeps up the attack and take s asolid win in round 1.

Paris continues to have great success in round 2, landing some very clean power punches and slowing down Williams quite a bit. Score another solid victory for Paris!

Williams finally shows up in round 3. Instead of his jab and move strategy which we have become accustomed to, we see him swinging power punches and landing many of them clean. One of them cut open Paris under his right eye! Give this round to Williams.

Paris comes back with a huge 4th round. He totally had his way with Williams in this round, and really should have been able to knock him down. Give credit to Williams for hanging in there, but he really got owned.

Round 5 was fairly close, but I would give the nod to Poaris for being a bit more active in an otherwise slow down round.

Williams responded with an incredible round 6. I don’t think Paris was able to land one single punch in the 3 minutes. Give this one to Williams as he tries to hang in there and get something going.

Williams put together a second solid round in a row. Nothing amazing in this round, but just a solid effort, out scoring Paris easily.

Another great round for Williams as he is finally falling into a nice groove and doing what he does best in the ring. He is working the jab extremely well, keeping Paris away from him. He is also mixing in the power punches with success.

In round 9, the two fighters had a few nice exchanges early on, neither fighter really getting the better of the other though. Williams then backed away and started working the jab again. Paris snuck in a nice right cross which backed Williams into the ropes. Paris was then able to move in close and nailed Williams with a huge uppercut and followed it with a big hook that sent Williams eye up into his head. He crumpled to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit it! Williams has not even moved as the ref reaches 10! This fight is over!!!!!


The winner, AND NEW FOFC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, by way of Knockout at the 2:49 mark of Round 9 is JOHNNY LEE ‘JUICE’ PARIS!!!!!
