From the CBS "glog": "Its tough to swallow that the Jets, led by a quarterback who has an arm comparable to 13 year old girl are beating Eli Manning and the Giants."

He is on the field, but.. it seems that just walking around and watching the game. Btw, Brown is really impressive again today, 17 runs for 99 Yrds and a TD.

Why are the Dolphins even calling passing plays?

If the 3rd/emergency QB is activated before the fourth quarter, neither the starting QB or the backup QB can come back into the game (not sure if this is for the entire game, or just until the start of the fourth quarter - suspect that it may be for the game...) IIRC, the Jets got caught by this a few years ago - to save a roster spot, they had punter Tom Tupa listed as their backup QB, with Rick Mirer as the third/emergency QB. Their starter (can't remember who - might have been Testaverde?) got injured early on, and Tupa had to play QB for about two quarters. Martin |

Jerious Norwood for a pretty big return. He almost broke the kick return for a TD.

Figures. I drafted Brown last year when he could do nothing right. Two straight weeks Chambers hasn't shown up.

Found that punter as QB story in google, it seems he played pretty well
Mirer was listed as the Jets’ third QB for that game. Tom Tupa, the Jets’ punter, played the second and third quarters, and far outperformed Mirer (6 for 10, 165 yds, 2 td, 3 sacks for Tupa; 4 for 11, 28 yds, 2 int, 1 sack for Mirer). Mirer couldn’t close the game out in the 4th quarter, and the Jets lost on a last-second Vinatieri FG, 30-28.

Bizarre. Starting QB knocked out? Check. Starting RB doing well? Check. Have a lead? Check. Backup QB not that great? Check. Throw every down? CHECK! |

Nice comeback for the Browns in Foxboro, though they still have 10 points to makeup in 6 minutes. They haven't rolled over like everyone else the Pats have played this year.

This last drive by the Pats is one of those classic "The game might be over, but I tell you there's a lot of interest in a certain group of fans" drives that they'd always mention on Monday Night Football (IE, if the Pats score a TD, they cover the spread)

Totally agree, what a horrible playcalling and time managing. In the Texans 38 yards, with a backup QB that has played really bad today, with a runningback that has been awesome today, instead of running the ball to reach the FG distance and to waste time, he calls 2 straight incomplete passes and punts, giving the texans enough time to win the game with the last second FG.

I can't wait to hear Cant's reason for not using Ronnie Brown towards the end of the game. Hopefully it will be more classic than "they are who we thought they were."

Crazy stuff in the Falcons game. With 4 1/2 minutes left, Vince Young throws a horrible INT to give the Falcons the ball in the red zone. Leftwich overthrows a wide open receiver standing alone in the end zone, then throws an INT on the next play. Tennessee runs the ball 3 times, burns some clock, and sets up to punt. DeMario Williams comes untouched right up the middle and the punter sees it coming and just falls down with the ball. Falcons ball at the Titans 15 w/ 2 minutes left...

And Brian Leonard has his first 100 yard game in his second career start. Currently 18 carries for 102 yards, and 4 catches for 26 yards. Playing behind a worse OL than what Jackson was running with.

Dola, WOW, Warrick Dunn with a great run to the 1, Falcons 1st and goal on the 1, somehow they lose 8 yards on 1st down. On 2nd down Lefwich launches a pass out of the end zone, 3rd down he throws it into the stands but Tennessee is in the neutral zone. This is some ugly, ugly football. Neither team wants to win.

I think Leftwich is even worse than Harrington. This is just sad. Especially since the defense has played sooo badly.

Wait... so, the Falcons have 4th and Goal from the 5, with a rookie left tackle in and you DON'T give the rookie any blocking help? You put the RB on the other side?!
WTF?!
