About the Patriots spying scandal - I wonder if that means Romeo Crennel is a lousy couch also. No one ever brings that up. Let's talk about it.

Peterson is single handedly destroying the Chiefs. Now, I understand it's not hard to single handedly destroy the Chiefs. But he's still killing them.

Dammit, McNabb decided to fumble in the 35-14 game just so Westbrook couldn't get a 3rd TD to tie him and Curtis for the game

Hey, don't worry about it. As I'm such a huge Patriots hater, I'm happy the refs missed that call. And the Chiefs can't beat anyone anyway. Both of those replays were inexcuseable misses by the refs. They don't even have the excuse of live speed action to fall back on. The EPL suspended a ref for a week for missing a call in a game. The two main refs in charge of this should get at least that, if not more. |

Kelly Holcumb is horrible. Overthrows a for sure TD, then takes a sack to leave the Vikings out of FG position.

He made an amazing catch and fell hard on his back. They said it was a back injury and his return is "doubtful." Nothing further's been reported. Hopefully it's just a bruise.

Dammit. Just as I think my fantasy team is going to take a decent lead, Westbrook doesn't go in and Williams goes 91 back the other way to give The Premature Ghost of Beano Cook a 50-47 lead and we're not even halfway into some of the first games.
EDIT: Him: Williams 30, Pittsburgh 10, three others 10 Me: Westbrook 30, Brady 17, two others 5 Never mind- I'm now back ahead 52-50 SI

LOL. Then he can't even get the hail mary off. Should be 21-3 Minnesota. (ref blown call and Holcumb wide open miss) Instead it's 10-3 Vikings and the Chiefs have a punchers chance. |

And of course I'm facing the team that has McNabb this week. He already has 35 fantasy points at halftime! He's also got Addai and Driver who both have TDs. I have Kitna and Roy Williams, but Harrison and Gore are doing nothing. I've already lost one game where I scored over 100 points and it looks like this week will be more of the same.

Early games are overrated. The only later game being shown in non-HD is the Browns-Raiders game, which didn't sell out. That's the best game of the day.

Troy, Yahoo is saying that Peterson lost a fumble at one point in the 2nd quarter. But from what I can tell, it happened in the middle of a drive. Can you confirm?

I think that's the one that was reversed on the replay. Then he fumbled it away on the next play, iirc

Yeah, it was actually the play AFTER the replay. The got it right, his arm was down on the first fumble. On the very next play he drove forward and Allen ripped the ball out of his arms. Vikings driving again to start the third quarter, but penalties are threatening the drive. Peterson continues to run wild though. |

Okay, record watch for the Eagles game...

I'm rooting for Westbrook, though! These combined records can't be held by one-dimensional guys!

The Chefs drive chart this drive says it all. Run for nothing, pass for first down, run for nothing, pass for first down- and it's happened 4 times now.
