What a play by Troy. Had two blockers to defend with and he still stops them short.

Plummer mentioned it during the pregame, but they have gone with a quick snap many times.

If you would have told me Denver would run the ball effectively in the first half against the Steelers and be down ten, I'd have told you that you were nuts. Amazing game and it shows you what turnovers can do.

what part of a 1200 yard season is so damn bad?!

Staley hasn't been the healthiest the last 2 years either.

It doesn't seem like Denver is getting enough pressure on Roethlisberger. That could be an issue.

I'm not sure what's not to like about Parker. 4.7 yards a carry, 12+ yards a catch. . . and four games of that came with Tommy Maddox/Batch at QB, I think you can deal with that type of production.

I love Deacon Jones as much as the next guy, but maybe he should leave the slams to guys who won a playoff game at some point in their careers.

He pointed that out. He said "Even I haven't been there" when saying that some of the games greatest hadn't been there.

Wow, I didn't think that was a slam on Peyton. I thought it was more of an exhortation to the players, that no matter how good you think you are, it means nothing without a Super Bowl.

Denver is in trouble. For some unknown reason, they've changed their gameplan. They've rushed five and six guys every play all year and are now rushing three and four 80% of the time, including on the last two third and longs.

They are trying to be cute at the wrong time. Do what you do and if you get beat with it, so be it. But don't lose by changing your gameplan 150%. It isn't worth it.

Today, though Parker is being way to cute around the line of scrimmage. While he does have the home run ability, I'd try Bettis for a full drive early in the second half.

This is the fastest first half in the history of football. Also, I think the Broncos are replacing their defense on third down with me, Subby, and Suicane. Sorry we keep blowing the coverage, Bronco fans.

I've never been this pissed off at a Denver team as I am now. Again, third and long, rush four.

I have no idea what they are doing. They've won 14 games with the blitz and for some reason have decided to get away from it in the championship game.

It's just beyond reason. Denver is getting EXACTLY what they deserve here and if they don't switch back to what they are in the second half, I hope Pittsburgh runs away with the game and beats them 45-3

No, they aren't blowing the coverages, they have done a 180 from what makes them good. They got here a certain way and decided to "trick" the Steelers with the same ridiculous standard defense of last year.

I can see it now.

The Patriots didn't 'lose' the game, they got BEAT by a better team.

But the Broncos blew it against the Steelers...

I get what you're saying, but giving up 20 yards is blowing a coverage almost by definition. I was just trying to work in a joke anyway, though.

Denver's just given up. How could you fall for that?

Lucky that Ward screwed up. This game would be over.
