Good lord but Tom Brady is absolutely shredding the Falcons secondary.

lol. Ravens stop the Lions 3 downs in a row on the one, then a Ravens player makes an unsightly gesture, automatic first down for the Lions.

Without Vick, I don't see a magical comback out of the Falcons. Though Brady is really exploiting that poor Falcons secondary. Usually the front 7 can put enough pressure on the QB to hide that weakness, but not today.

This Ravens D is amazing. 3rd and goal from the 1 again. 6th play from the 1 and now Jones is down.

This is where we need Corey.

But I'd put in Pinner and let him rumble.

Schaub looks terrified out there - those blitzes early in the half I think have him panicked.

All Shaub has to do is close his eyes and throw it, btter chance a Falcon will get to the ball than the Patriots secondary .

Play is being challenged now. Baltimores last challenge. Since it was a ruled a score I think they're hard pressed to have conclusive footage to overturn.

I think one more injury and we'll see Matt Cassell at free safety.

I hate the Ravens right now because the Lions are playing them, but I think I'll root for them after this game. That defense is simply amazing. It's sad that it has such a shitty offense that can't support it.

No, the Falcons aren't coming back on em today. I just can't see it. But the NE defense does look bad. The thing that's amazed me about today is the fact Schaub hasn't had to make many difficult reads. 13-25for 192 and he has had at least 3 dropped balls. He could easily be at over 240 right now (one of those drops was on a deep ball)

It's hard to think NE won't be able to fix the problem, but they are still looking pretty vulnerable on defense.

Maybe the Pats should start doing this every set of downs:

Kneel
Kneel
Pass for 1st down

Finish typing that and the Falcons march right down the field and score. Pats have the running game going, Brady can't miss, they are playing a guy who is greener than the Oregon Duck helmuts and this is a game in the fourth quarter. My, my, how times have changed.

Seahawks up by 13 on the Rams now. 6:18 left in the third quarter and Bulger has thrown in 22 times. How many will he end up with? I'll go with 44.

Since the Lions were kicking off from the Baltimore 40, why didn't they try an onside kick rather than just putting it through the end zone? It would only cost them about 8 yards if it didn't work.

Oh, and this just in. . . the Texans are a HORRIBLE football team. If they get the #1 pick, I could see them taking Leinhart and trading Carr. Capers may as well get the resume printed up there is no way in hell he coaches this team next year.

I'm going to be low on Bulger BTW. Rams TD drive, he throws it 9 times. He's up to 31 and we still have the fourth quarter to play. He may get to 50 again.

Assuming the Lions can hold on and win this won, this could be a good thing for the team. Similar to going through a fight-filled game in hockey or a benched clearing brawl in baseball. It can really bring a team together and prove they can hang in there in a tough, physical game. Something that folks didn't think the Lions had it in 'em.
