Also, as an alternate auto-pick rule how about we give the top player picked in the other thread if someone isn't around for an hour? Seeing as how they are into the 3rd round by now this might be a workable solution for a little while and help us get back on track with picks.

I like this idea, even though it might lead to my favorite homer pick getting taken before I'd like him to be taken.

Yep, it might end up generating better picks than our other auto-default options but I'm OK with that as long as we are keeping this moving along.

we're off the clock today, but obviously behind a bit. PM'ing GE and Neuqua, and if those of you that pick early int he second round can update/send in lists if you're not around tonight we can maybe make a bit more progress this evening.

BTW, if we haven't heard from GE by the time I wake up tomorrow, we'll just remove him and have 8 people here, so worst case, if we have a couple players from neuqua in a list, we'll be rolling in the 2nd round immediately tomorrow morning.

Very happy to get Mayo in the 2nd round. I thought he was a huge reach at 3 but I think he is a fair value here and only a bit of a homer pick now

my apologies today for not being around as much as I expected to enforce the clock and get through a few more picks, we should have been back up through EF27 by now and chugging along. I'm still hoping we can get through the 3rd round today, and tomorrow the clock will really have to run from 10am-8pm to get us moving, which I hate to do, but hopefully people will be able to check in at good enough intervals that they don't have to send crazy 15 player lists
