It's pretty cool. The tour is about an hour or so long and like its name, it has some crazy things about it. There's also a small gun museum there as well. I think it's worth the price of admission. Everyone that I've taken has said that they really enjoyed it and thought it was cool. Not sure I want to reveal what the actual 'mystery' is though. The mystery isn't the "why" she had all those rooms built. The story is pretty clear about that. The mystery is (to me):
Spoiler
Once you get done with the tour, you can walk across the parking lot to go see a movie or go across the street to Santana Row for some shopping or eating.

It's on my list of hikes to do eventually. I know the river crossing parts can be crap, but what I've heard is that once you get past those 6 or 7 crossings it's not that bad. Heh. |

It's worth doing because it's cool to see when you get there. My issue with the creek part is that since you're not on a traditional trail, you have step up and over multiple rocks along the way. It was like doing a 2 to 3 hour step class.

If you are going to do the hike, do the bungee jump at the end. Very cool experience. Also for God's sake bring torches for the hike back down, just in case. We went with Bungee America and by the time we were heading back it was pitch black and we had like 5 torches for a group of 80 people. I'm still amazed nobody got swept away. Mind you, this was in January or February. I'm sure it's nowhere near as bad in the summer if you were to go then. |

Shuttled in to where?
Unless you are talking about a helicopter, there's no road access into the bridge. It's a 6-7 mile hike for everyone. |

I don't think that's entirely true, I have seen pictures with the bungee companies truck at the bridge... weird, I know I have seen pictures with their truck at the site, but it says you hike to get there. WTF.

They have a large cabin there that we were told was dropped in by helicopter, I don't think there is any way you could get a truck there unless you can get in from the other (non-LA) side.

My first thought was to build it as an add-on mod to Fallout 3.

1812 New Madrid earthquake - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If a 7.0 earthquake ever hits the New Madrid fault line, Katie bar the door FEMA estimates a 7.0 would destroy 60 percent of the buildings in St. Louis and Memphis. Don't even ask what happens if another 8.0 hits. |

Clear-channel station - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This explains what happens to one of the stations I really liked in KC (810 AM) and why their signal sucked something fierce at night. SI
