Kind of what I was thinking. Commies should roll over a bad MSU.

Just as a follow up, here's my prediction of the Vandy season from here out. Vandy will win one, but only one, of these games (UGA, Florida, Tennessee, Wake Forest). Common sense would say Tennessee, but I think it might actually be Wake.
Vandy will lose at least one of these games (Miss State, Duke, Kentucky). Kentucky is the most likely loss, but Miss State wouldn't be a surprise. Vandy has had a great season, the best they've had in 50 years. But they are still Vandy, and lack of depth will evetually kill them. |

Illini are now down 14-3 in early 2nd half, after giving the ball to Gophers inside the 10. Time to see if the offense can finish drives and the special teams can stop sucking so much.
Home loss to Minnesota would be pretty disappointing following a feel-good win at Michigan last Saturday. |

Texas is doing a great job hanging in there versus OU, but they haven't been able to take a lead the whole game. OU scores again for 28-20 lead.

Is that a carnival they're having outside the stadium at Texas-OU? Pretty damn cool if it is. Just turned on the game.

It's like the Texas state fair I think. This game is always on during that thing.

Yup, Texas State Fair every year with the game. This game really is a circus. Texas finally goes up, but Colt nearly lost the opportunity with a pass that should hav been picked in the end-zone. |

Between these bs roughing the passer penalties and a non-review on that INT in the end zone, Oklahoma's D is getting shafted.
Side note - that LT/Polamalu Nike commercial using the Ennio Morricone music is epic. |

I would say make-up call, but no, they've just sucked on "late hits" all game long.

I'm so used to being a Lions fan that I almost want to see Michigan bottom out to the point where they have to admit Rodriguez was a horrible mistake and talk Carr into finishing out the season. In reality, Wisconsin should have won & Michigan really didn't look that impressive against Miami, OH. Michigan is lucky to be 2-4. They should be 1-5 and could have been 0-6. Ditch-Rod! |

Watch out for Purdue over Ohio State in this game.
Wouldn't surprise me to see them pull a win out of their hats here. EDIT: Of course, as soon as I post, OSU blocks a punt and returns it for a TD. Last edited by RedKingGold : 10-11-2008 at 02:42 PM. |

They'll bring up that he doesn't have "his kind" of QB... Like next year with a true freshman at QB and a bunch more freshmen mixed in with the sophomores they will suddenly be a great, or even decent team. Think of what this team would look like if McGuffie had not been talked out of transferring. (And how long will it take until he knows where he is at after that hit?) |

@Noop/Texas #1? - Even assuming Missouri and LSU don't look good tonight, do you jump the idle Alabama? Georgia probably isn't as good as OU, but Alabama smoked them @ Georgia.
Plus Noop, stop saying good things about ND. As soon as you do he throws 2 near pick-6's Last edited by BishopMVP : 10-11-2008 at 02:46 PM. |

But Clausen follows up with ND's favorite throw this year and hits the fade to Golden Tate. 7-0 ND.

OU is a very very good team and Texas not only came from behind to beat them but also maintained their poise in the process. After next week should Texas get pass Missouri their schedule doesn't really present any difficult road mines.

If we get poast Ok St. tonight, going to Texas is going to be really, really rough.. espeically with their win today over OU.

It'll be close. Assuming MU/LSU wins, all 4 teams should be getting #1 votes, and it sets up two great showdown games.
Only potentially bad scenario developing now is Oklahoma will now be sitting in the seat where they could easily jump ahead of one of the two Big12 champs into the BCS just because that team loses in the Championship game. |

I have an SEC bias and an anti-Big 12 bias and I would put Texas #1 so far.
