Yeah I try to stick to home teams only as well, but sometimes the matchup is just too good to avoid-like a Cleveland you might not take normally against a inferior Jax team (who will now win by 30)

Really glad right now that I went away from Seattle and took Baltimore instead.

Sadly I was pretty close in my prediction here.

The "whoever's playing JAX" tack backfired this week... in a big way.

Well looks like only the Klein Bottles remains perfect and 10 of the rest of us remain alive in the game. Cleveland and I'm guessing Seattle did a lot of us in, myself included. But yet here I am offering you up Cleveland again as one of the better picks this week. Why? Because they are at home this week against Oakland. Surely they can't lose to two winless teams in a row?

If you can't use Cleveland anymore, the rest of the games are slim pickings I feel. Kansas City at home against St Louis looks good on paper, but they might come out flat after a big win against SD. And it might be good to wait a week on them anyway as they get the Jets at home next week.

Detroit could be a good play here against the Falcons, but its in London, never trust a London game. Buffalo is on the road at the Jets, would like better if they were at home. Seattle coming off the shocker in St Louis, travels to Carolina-which Seahawks and more importantly which Carolina team shows up this week. I'm guessing it will be more like the one that got crushed by Green Bay last week. Besides Seattle gets Oakland at home next week.

If you are still playing the whomever vs Jax theory-its Miami this week, but at home...and we saw what happened there last week. Green Bay is on the road at the suddenly bad Saints, never a good place to play at though.

So that leaves the Monday night game-and its in Dallas going against the Redskins and their 3rd string QB, Colt McCoy. I actually don't think he will play too badly, but he's the 3rd string QB for a reason and Dallas is on such a roll that I have to go with them

I keep going back and forth whether Iwant to hold off using a very good Dallas squad or go to the whomever is playing the hapless Raiders play and pick a pissed off Cleveland team.

I'm leaning towards saving the Seahawks and picking the Bengals over the Jags, but the Bengals have not exactly been stellar lately.

You might want to reconsider that. Don't know what Seattle's full schedule is like, but they have to play Arizona twice and I think SF and StL once. Might not be an easier game to win that at home against Oakland. I think KC plays the Jets this week which is almost like a guaranteed win.

But don't listen to me, I've been eliminated

Next weeks schedule is going to be interesting finding a winner in that mess.

Fair point - but I don't mind having Atlanta off my pick board.

edit: oh, that was for two weeks ago.

I might be able to confidently take the Redskins this week! But they could easily lose to Tampa.

This is definitely the longest I've ever lasted in one of these things.

Looking ahead to next week, the Eagles at home against the Titans looks pretty good.

Darn! I should know that the Jets will only break my heart. I thought it was gonna be over last night. Then Geno had to pass.

Ya, I definitely was thinking I got too cute not just going with the obvious Rams v. Raiders, especially after the outcome of that game the day before.

This week it looks like I only have two choices - 49ers against the Raiders or Lions against the Buccs.

Well I was going to say congrats, but after that piece of rudeness at the end///

And NTN I think anyone that played the game would have taken SF after a team in your own division, with a worse record than your team just beat them 55-0.
