Yeah Madonna, I just don't get. She wasn't hot when she was young and she definitely isn't hot now she is much older and looks like Skeletor. At least with our Hot or Not polls, I haven't seen any ugly women that I can remember. Unless someone did one for Rosie O'Donnel or something.

Oh, I understand the Madonna thing perfectly. And for those of you who are confused take a trip with me into the way back machine; to a time of early puberty, a time before the internet, a time when MTV actually showed music videos and a high percentage of those videos featured a slutty gal in a bra dancing provocatively. Who’s hotter than Madonna in a pointy bra? |

Yeah, Madonna was hot way back in the day. I remember staying up late on a school night after Monday Night Football to see her *banned* Justify My Love video on some news show, only to fall asleep and wake up halfway through it. In those pre-Internet days Madonna writhing around scantily clad was all we had.

When Weird Al did "Like a Surgeon" in concert, his keyboard player writhed around on stage wearing a pointy bra.
I've been to a lot of Weird Al concerts.

Saw Jenna Jameson with Tito Ortiz in line with their kids getting pictures with Santa, she's not looking so good. |

Kathy Griffin in a pointy bra would be better than Madonna.
Wait, did I just say that? Pumpy made me do it...

I watched this video...a lot back in the day. There's likely at least 3-4 more videos during her peak I liked. I can't really hate on what she looks like now considering she's 53.

Presuming Tito looks the same as he did Saturday night, neither of them are looking too good.

Jennifer Aniston? Really? REALLY? My faith in humanity just dropped even more.

Dola,
After my initial outrage and surveying the Top 10, it seems to me that their list, or at least the Top 10, isn't so much Hottest of All Time as it is Largely Considered Attractive And Having Massive Cultural Significance And/Or Notoriety. Taken in that vein, I still don't see Aniston #1, but IMO, because of the whole Friends phenomenon, she could conceivably rank in the Top 20, even though I personally think she looks like a horse.

Trola,
I realize Ursula Andress might possibly be the outlier there, but let's break this shit down. #1 Jennifer Aniston - Friends phenomenon as described #2 Raquel Welch - Considered *the* iconic beauty in her era #3 Marilyn Monroe - I know college girls today who still admire Marilyn. Now that's lasting cultural power. I'd probably put her #1 for that reason. #4 Britney Spears - Defined the teen female pop generation, for better or worse. #5 Madonna - A Hall of Fame music career that, because of her controversial videos and some of her songs, generated major debate and discussion. See "Like A Prayer" and "Justify My Love". #6 Ursula Andress - The weakest culturally of the Top 10, but IIRC, she was the first Bond girl. #7 Bettie Page - Made fetish modeling mainstream #8 Pamela Anderson - Friends is to Aniston as Baywatch is to Anderson. #9 Jane Fonda - Instrumental in a national exercise craze #10 Angelina Jolie - Box office gold. The fact she plays a lot of badass characters doesn't hurt with the feminists.

quadola,
Brigitte Bardot #75 is criminal. I'd also put Tyra Banks much higher than #63, based on what I suspect is the criteria of the listing. Gisele Bundchen #25 is way, way too high. Ditto Shakira #18. There's some lesser quibbles with some the rest of the list, but those are the four things that jumped out most strongly at me as massive mistakes other than Aniston #1. OTOH, I don't have much a problem with their Top 10 outside of Aniston, since I'm assuming cultural and societal import is influencing the rankings to a degree.

I Agree with Izulde. Aniston should be high, but not #1. I'd likely reserve that for Monroe. But how Fawcet isn't in the top 10 is beyond me.

that might not be just the character you're picking up on Be Careful Around January Jones, Former Bobby Draper Warns Child Actors Jared Gilmore, who played the Emmy-nominated actress' son Bobby on 'Mad Men,' had some words of advice for the next young actor who takes his place. "Be careful around January [Jones]," he told TV Guide Magazine. "She's not as approachable as the others. She's really serious about what she does. Everyone else is so nice." His comments came after he left the show to take on a role in Once Upon A Time

I honestly don't know how seriously to take a list that doesn't have Grace Kelly in the top 10 if not top 3 at worst.
