I almost voted hot, then I looked her up to make sure we were talking about the same person. We were not. I thought this was Eliza Dushku, who is quite hot, but it's just another blonde who's face has some, alien like features. Not even close to hot.

You guys need to get over this blonde fetish.

I'm pretty surprised by the turnout. Elisha's hot (and I voted her as so) but she's not hotter than Alba or others on the list.

Oh well.

You know I don't normally vote hot for blondes, I'm not a big fan of them, and I really didn't think she was that attractive when I saw her in 24 the first season, but when I saw her in "The Girl Next Door" I absolutely did a turn around on her.

She's hot.

She's hot.

I just saw those pix on imdb and some do look hot, others not. It's when she (and others) start looking like Marilyn Monroe is when it's not. Nothing wrong with trying to present a clean, cute face instead of being made up like a barbie doll.

Oh well.

Maybe what happens here is the airline food psychology phenomenon. Nobody really, realy likes the Chicken ala King or Meat Loaf that they choose for the in-flight meal, but the main objective is to find something that most people can at least accept. So, not too spicy, not too complex, but just shoot for the widest array of people to say "oh, that's okay."

Here, maybe Cuthbert isn't everyone's cup of tea as the very hottest (though she may be for some, it seems)... but maybe she inspires fewer people than anyone we've seen to either genuinely not like her, or to (for whatever reason) decide to try to make themselves out to be interesting by taking a stand against. *shurg*

You are a one-trick pony at times regarding your comments, and I'm sure you'll say the same about me regarding my differing opinions. You have criticized me multiple times for having different stances on things, and I think that it's absolute garbage.

I've been consistant in what types of women (and other topical issues) that I like and don't. I answered this poll honestly, but now I'm being (subtley) criticized because the vast majority of people disagree with me? Should I just join the herd and lie about things so that I can avoid you snide remarks? Fuck that.

I'm sure you, and others, think I'm overreacting (I've done that on occasion), but I'm sick of your superior crap. You've been doing this for the 5+ years that I've been here and no one ever calls you out on it, most likely because they miss the subtle ways you criticize people. I don't miss them, and it's extremely irritating.

Yes, I know I'm annoying to people as well, but at least I'm not afraid to speak my mind, and I've never pretended to be any better than anyone else.

That wasn't a superiority trip, it was an honest assessment of what i think really goes on in this game in many cases. I actually wasn't thinking of you... indeed, I'm quite sure that I think of you far less then you might suspect... and I take your comment here (what little I've read of them) at face value. Sorry if you thought that was targeted at you in any way -- I can see how timing would lead you there.

As for the general impressions of me, I can live just fine with whatever you may think of me.

I didn't mean anything as judgement on you as a person, it's more about the air that I get from you sometimes.

Anyway, I probably overreacted again, and alienated yet another handful of FOFCers.

I wanted to vote not here, just to fall-in and agree with Schmidty on his general principle of "healthy" girls. But without going and doing an IMDB or google image search, I've always felt Cuthbert was relatively "healthy" and had some sort of appeal... So I can't in good conscious vote not, but I can in good conscious agree with the general principle that Schmidty laid out there...

Of course, I'm probably the most generally criticized in these things outside of Bucc, so that might not be a good thing for Schmidty...

I found a definite NSFW clip that apperently was cut from "The Girl Next Door". I have personally never seen the movie, but the clip left me no doubt but to vote hot. Little Kim Bauer in skimpy lingerie talking dirty. Oh yeah!

To me Alba is a cut above Kournikova, but still not HOT! I agree wholeheartedly with Beckinsale.

I think the reason that Kournikova is number one is that she was near the start of this exercise, before we all started putting on our rose colored glasses, and started applying a much more subjective standard to the pollees.

hey kodos, would it be possible to update the leaderboard with how many people voted in each of those polls? i think it makes the result a little more significant if we know for instance that 86% of 100 people thought kate beckinsale was hot, but 91% of 200 gave anna k the thumbs up (or the something else "up" as the case may be)

I can't believe some of you pricks tried to divert the discussion in this thread away from how ridiculously hot Elisha Cuthbert is.

Not trying to be a dick, but I can't comprehend how anyone who saw Girl Next Door could think she is anything other than smokin hot. And as an aside, I thought the movie itself was really good. For a "teen comedy" type, I thought it was really well done, and didn't rely on things like fucking pies (not to knock those movies, of course ).

I have a sizeable preference for redheads (and would likely rank brunettes above blondes), and she rates pretty darned hot to me.

That's just a bit more effort than I'm willing to go to, but I will meet you halfway. If you research and put that stat into the table of results, I will include that stat going forward.

I'm surprised at how well she's doing. I thought she'd do well, but didn't think she had a shot at number 1. I have an alternate theory--maybe the lack of hot or not has people enthused for a new entry, and thus put them in a positive frame of mind for the vote.

That one scene in Girl Next Door where she is getting ready to jump the guy is way, waaaaaaay hot. Great movie to watch with the sound low while you surf the net.
