MSNBC called Pennsylvania for Obama but that's probably like Fox News calling West Virginia for McCain.

Yeah but it's MSNBC, you have to take it with a grain of salt. Same thing with FOX.

So, basically CNN is breaking down the rural counties in several states showing that Obama is out performing Kerry in the areas Bush won. Changes from 60-40 Bush/Kerry to 53-47 McCain/Obama will kill McCain.

I know its early, but based on what is in so far, I wouldn't be surprised to see Florida go to Obama and Virginia go to McCain. Which is the opposite of what the trends predicted. (And would be a good trade for Obama obviously.)

Good (if only because of that insane ad).

Also of note, that was Jesse Helms' seat, according to some guy on Fox News.

Hagan/Dole: Good to know, we're watching CNN. It's a pretty wide split, but that's a similar Dem/Rep split as the presidential and governor races, so didn't think it was good enough to call yet.

I agree with you. I was just surprised that it was an actual ballot question for citizens to vote on. I know the big one in Mass. is repealing the income tax.
