I kind of like it, I play as a MLB and the sweeps are easy to defend since i recruit fast LB's, but watching out for the halfback pass keeps me honest. I got burned a couple times by the halfback pass back to the QB.

Unfortunately I know when it is coming because before each play I check my man-to-man responsibilities and it shows a man covering the QB, which doesn't happen on any of the other plays.

I'm not sure if it is the forced 7 week absence of any video football (except PSP football) or if it is just these sliders are so good, but I'm having a blast playing this game again. I'm using Jistic's v4 sliders for the game, and they have toned down my running attack quite a bit (which I think was part of the problem before, it was just too easy to run on default settings) and have boosted the passing completions for both CPU and Human players. Anyway, I've had 3 great games and am hooked on this game again

Which downloadable rosters are the best to grab? I've seen Fairdale Kings' mentioned on here...are those the best and most complete, or are there more?

I was very happy with Fairdale Kings' when I started my dynasty, but I don't know which are best and most complete. I do know that FK usually does a great job.

Thanks EaglesFan. I'll give them a try.

Is there a way to use those rosters in a Race for the Heisman career?

You are welcome. As far as your question, I'm not sure, I never tried.

No problem, you can use them. Just load 'em before starting a Race for the Heisman. One advice: save FK rosters' as "roster1" on your hard drive, so they will load automatically when you start the game.

Thanks, I'll try that with my next Heisman career.

Going off topic here for a sec. Who the heck picked that soundtrack for the game? Most of those songs suck and are years old and not really about college or football.
