I haven't been caught off guard at all. It would have been much eaiser to keep quiet, try and dodge the vote and move on with the knowledge I am safe regardless of what happens today but I prefer to garnish as much information from people as we can early on.

Lets just say that generaly in werewolf every role has a counter role so the game remains in balance. Now granted there may be some built in advantages for the bad guys but I think Fouts may have used both of those advantages last night.

I have no intention of revealing. That being said I prefer to get a mojority lynch since my ability doesn't allow me to pick a specific candidate however everyone will move up one spot putting Mr. Wed and Anxiety in harms way.

Anxiety, another option would have been to be a bit more participatory. I very strongly considered moving the vote from Lathum to you in order to help keep him from having to burn his power. If I trusted him, I would have done it.

I posted numerous times today, including the early morning, noontime, several times int eh afternoon, and several times at night. THat's all day activity. Actually, when I don;t have a vital role, I'll often reamin quieter and observe. That's hardly unusual activity for me. Remember, I didn;t even hint when I was a seer and up for vote on Day One in a previous game. Unless I think I have something, I remain quieter.
