CB Mercury Greene, 88%, Temple, 1 honor, 56 picks CB/S inflation got him in. We have just 32 players on our roster. The Panthers’ 1st rounder that we have is the 1/13 pick. We have 14 picks including 5 2nd rounders. I have to resign Arellano, but it’ll cost us 20 million. Grady High has hit 46 million in cap costs. He’s getting rather expensive. Players in final year: CB Jim Ackerman WR Roosevelt Beverly C Archie Galloway TE Rick Rivers S Dominc Gaylor K Darrin Maloney LB Bruce Bertelson I extend Rick Rivers by two years. I cannot lose him ever. I will not give Ackerman another contract. If he wants to return to another year after this one, I can franchise him. C Archie Galloway is not interested in resigning, and I don’t like him that much anyway. His skills are amazing but his stats not. I trade him to the Falcons for their 2nd rounder next year. I sign Maloney for 2 more years. I trade S Gaylor to the Patriots for their 5th rounder next year. I trade DE Sam Walden to the Bears for their 2nd rounder next year. I sign DE Gus Arellano to a 3 year deal. I trade WR Beverly, my 3rd and 5th to the Giants for their 1/19 pick this year. I trade OT Roosevelt Morin to the Rattlesnakes for their 1st rounder next year. Okay, let’s go to the draft.

We sell 45k tix Damn it, Dixon Vance is a pure bust. Stupid 1st round LBs. My luck never ends on that front. Oh but LB Kelvin Lane didn’t bust and looks good. Blast! FA:
We have 32 players under contract. I extend Platt’s contract by two years and CB Pearson’s by three, DT Solymos by two, P Bridges by one. Dean Dawkins - not interested in a contract that goes past this year. Other stars to consider in their final year: LB Anthony McKnight DE Tom Comeaux OT Rickey Moss LB Oliver Nelson S Dean Dawkins OG Jeffrey Tuaolo FB Ernie Kinney We have the 13th and 15th picks in the 1st round this year, plus our 34th in each year. That gives us chances to find starters. I trade DE Comeaux to the Jets for their 5/10 this year and 2nd next. He was just a run specialist anyway. I trade OG Tuaolo and my 4th and 5th picks this year for the Rattlesnakes 1st next year. I have depth at the position and Tuaolo has never been great or anything. I’ll keep my other starters in limbo for now. I wanna see what the draft brings. I cut LB Dixon Vance, the bust from last year. Let’s travel to the draft. C Archie Galloway signs with the Chargers in Week 5. WR Roosevelt Beverly signs with the Bills in week 6.

The 2044 NFL Amateur Draft
Needs: Starter - CB, DE, DT, LB, Possible Starter - FB, LB, OT Backup, QBx2, RB x2, TE, WRx2, OGx2, OT, DEx2, LB, CBx2, S Our first pick arrives at 1/13. Who do I like? CB Roderick Hatcher - Strong, would be a bit better than Pearson in terms of potential DT Ike Cochrane - Pass rush specialist, but still 66 run stopping specialist OG Harry Thomas - 80 and 72 potentials. This is a lousy QB draft, which sucks, because the 1/13 or 1/15 pick would have been a perfect time to have drafted the successor to High. This is no time to get fancy. I grab the CB. My picks comes back at 1.15 and I grab Cochrane. At 1/34 I see that Thomas went 1/21, so I need a new selection. Draft Recap: 1/13 - CB Roderick Hatcher, Georgia 1/15 - DT Ike Cochrane, Duke 1/34 - LB JT Schlereth, Georgia Tech 2/7 - WR Moe Austin, Miami, Florida 2/16 - CB Glenn Tench, U Penn 2/34 - RB Thurman Stoner, Vanderbilt 3/34 - DE Daryl Lavallee, Georgia Tech 5/10 - LB Jamie Schneider, USC 5/32 - OG Jeremy Edwards, UNC 6/34 - C Kevin Graham, Alabama A&M 7/34 - DT Andy Griffin, Washington I sign a few UFA: QB Xavier Flowers, Kansas RB Hugh Taylor, Washington FB Rob Sims, USC TE Chuck Johnstone, UCLA WR Corey Fitzgerald, Oregon State S Wayne Washington, Davidson CB Dominic Leger, Brigham Young DE James Austin, Tulane DE Alvin Youngblood, Oregon OT Arnie Pride, Pittsburgh I extend Anthony McKnight by two years.

Okay, let’s hit up camp!
We sell 45k tickets I sign QB Brian Glenn to a one year 5 mill deal to be my backup. I like him. My Rook: DT Andy Griffin, 38/85 - MEGA BOOM! CB Roderick Hatcher, 36/81 DT Ike Cochrane, 24/80 C Kevin Graham, 10/77 CB Glenn Tench, 16/72 LB JT Schlereth, 19/63 DE Daryl Larallee, 13/61 WR Moe Austin, 60/60 LB Jamie Schneider, 26/54 OG Jeremy Edwards, 16/51 RB Thurman Stoner, 43/44 - Eroded Hello Andy Griffin - he‘s a rush specialist. I’ll probably not start him against Cochrane and Solymos, because he is more of a rush specialist. Solymos is well rounded and Cochrane is more of a pass rush specialist. Still, it is nice to have options and great players at one of the harder positions in the league to find depth at. I’ll have depth here for a year until next year, when Griffin is in the final year of a 2 year contract, then I may have to trade him, but I’ll get a nice deal. All numbers are for Pots: DT Andy Griffin - Run - 100, Pass - 56, Endurance - 89 DT Ike Cochrane - Run - 66, Pass - 94, Endurance - 55 DT Marvin Solymos - Run - 70, Pass - 82, Endurance - 94 As you can see, Marvin is more well rounded and a strong player with an All Pro on his resume and a professional contract in his pocket. He out classes Cochrane and Griffin, even if all pots were full. He has great endurance as well. Of Griffin and Cochrane, which would you start? I’m going Cochrane. I could go with Griffin, and have a run stopper next to a pass rusher, but I’d rather keep on the rush. I never have a bad rush defense, and with my high octane offenses, people have to pass a lot to catch up or keep up. As a result, pass rushing is more important, and Cochrane is more in line with what I want to do. Nothing wrong with Griffin, especially in the 7th round! He just doesn’t fit what I want to do right now.

Nah, forgot that. I sign DE Preston Gorman to a one year patch deal. I haven’t done this in ages, but I want the best team I can field. I cut DE Youngblood I trade DT Dana D to the Bucs for their 6th rounder next year. # of players under professional contracts: QB Grady High TE Rick Rivers WR Jerry Platt P Bennie Blades K Darrin Maloney DE Gus Arellano DT Marvin Solymos LB Anthony McKnight CB Bob Pearson S Dean Dawkins Just 10 players, and just 8 of 22 starters. # of players with one or more All Pros: QB Grady High RB Albert Hall TE Rick Rivers WR Jerry Platt P Bennie Blades K Darrin Maloney DE Preston Gorman - PATCH DT Marvin Solymos LB Anthony McKnight CB Bob Pearson S Dean Dawkins 10, technically, but Preston Gorman doesn’t count, so 9. Just 7 of my 22 starters. This is definitely a team undergoing a youth movement right now.

QB Grady High - 13th year in the league. Not many more left now. Has yet to show a sign of degradation. 8 All Pros in a row. Better than Tony Clements.

Since I took over as GM of the Lone Stars:
I have played in the playoffs 39 of 42 years. Incredible! However, I have won a Super Bowl just 12 times. 39 playoff appearances, 12 Super Bowl wins. I have lost in the Super Bowl 8 times. 20 of 42 years I have played in the Super Bowl, 39 of 42 in the playoffs, 12 of my Super Bowl appearances have been victories. We've have a good record lately in this stuff too. Interesting breakdown, no?

We go 2-2 in the preseason. Our squad is pretty young, with a core of age (High, Rivers, Platt, Pearson) but a ton of youth. No major injuries, just a few probables here and there.

Week 1 - We manage to take out the Rams in their own town 30-10. And we have a problem. The game can’t save my box scores anymore. Don’t know why, but its giving me an error when I do. How will I tell who did really well? I can’t even see the game MVP. Well, I can get that with a game log, so I’ll have it save game logs for the MVP, and I can look in Weekly Top Performers to see that High had 18 of 26 for 263 and a TD. It’s the first week, so I hit up the stats page to see everything else - Hall had 2 rushing Tds and 85 yards on 25 carries. He also had 8 catches for 127 yards and a receiving TD. Gus Arellano is looking tasty with a pair of sacks. But rookie CB Roderick Hatcher gets off the snide quickly with a pick. OG Lewis Scott has 6 KRB too.
Week 2 - Good news and bad news. We win against the Saints 23-20. We also see WR Jerry Platt out for a couple of months with a broken arm. I toss him on the inactive roster. The only highlight was Oliver Nelson’s pick and return 80 yards for a score. Good job Linebacker. WR Richard Luong will be starting for a while. Week 3 - We crush Cincy 58-23. Albert Hall is the Game MVP with 31 carries, 164 yards, 2 rush TD. Grady High was dinged and Brian Glenn came in from the bench and had 21 for 28, 294 yards and 3 Tds passing. TE Rick Rivers caught those three scores and 8 for 108. I like seeing backups coming in and doing well. Roderick Hatcher and Bob Pearson each had picks. Week 4 - We annihilate the Jaguars 44-0. Bad news, Rick Rivers is doubtful and will sit a few games. Gus Arellano notched another pair of sacks. Hatcher with a third pick already. (And a TD RET on it! And Game MVP). High is 20 of 31 and 316 with 2 TDs. TE Ben Norfleet will start the next few weeks. At 4-0, we are the only ones left in the AFC undefeated.

Week 5 - We defeat the Steelers 41-7. Bob Pearson had a pick. Toby Sweeney has 3 rushing TDs while spelling Hall, and FB Ernie Kinney catches two scores.
Week 6 - 38-15 over the Titans. WR Richard Luong is the Game MVP with 10 catches for 220 yards and a score. High was 26 for 33, 403 and 2 scores. With another injury day, and know knocked to probable, Albert Hall left the filed for Toby Sweeny, who had 24 carries, 115 yards and 2 rush TD. Week 7 - BYE Week 8 - 37-8 over the Jaguars. Grady High is the MVP with 29 of 36, 300 yards, 3 TD. He is the NFL Offensive Player of the Week. Hall adds 105 yards on the ground. Week 9 - We barely defeat the Steelers 34-31. High is Game MVP again with 28 of 35, 360, 2 scores. Roderick hatcher grabs his 5th pick of the year.

Week 10 - We kill Kansan City 41-3, but we knock a few players probable. Albert Hall back in form as Game MVP. WR Bob Sampson has 4 catches, 116 yards and a score. High was 12 for 15, 247 and 4 scores. Hatcher and Pearson have picks. Rick Rivers will return next week.
Week 11 - 29-3 over the Titans. Hall is MVP again with 25 carries for 181 yards and NFL Offensive Player of the Week. High had 18 for 28 and 216 yards and 2 scores. Darrin Maloney had 5 FGs in 5 attempts. Week 12 - Hall Game MVP three weeks in a row now. K Darren Mahoney has 3 of 3. The Bengals were shut out 0-30. Week 13 - We face the best team in the NFC this week in the 49ers. They have just two losses. 33-8 victory for us. It’s pretty mild -major stats on anyone, but we won as a team.

Week 14 - We lose to the Ravens 24-26 and any hope of an undefeated season leaves. High was 19 for 29, 222 yards, 2 scores. WR Jerry Platt will return next week from his mega-injury.
Week 15 - This week’s 38-10 drubbing of Seattle shows that we are back in our winning ways. S Dean Dawkins is our Game MVP with a trio of picks and an return for a TD. He is also the NFL Defensive Player of the Week. Bob Pearson also had 2 picks. Week 16 - We win 41-13 over the Patriots. Albert Hall is MVP. High has 21 for 25, 311 and a score. Bob Pearson grabs another pair of picks. Week 17 - We finish the season strong with a 38-7 victory over Baltimore. Unfortunately, Jerry Platt is knocked to doubtful with a sprained neck and is likely out for the playoffs . Albert Hall is Game MVP and NFL Offensive Player of the Week with 40 carries, 185 yards rushing, 4 scores and a rare accomplishment - 1000+ receiving and 1400+ yards rushing in a season. Hatcher yields his 7th pick of the season. Our 15-1 record is due, in part to a top heavy AFC Central that has two 10-6 teams in as wild cards - Jags and Ravens, and then 3 teams with 4 and 3 wins.

Hall has 123 yards and a score on the ground. The 2044 AFC Championship The #2 9-7 San Antonio Lone Stars vs. The #1 15-1 Huntington Highlanders As you can see, the whole conference is a bit underwhelming. The other division winners have 9-7 seasons, and 10-6 and 9-7 seasons for wild cards. The whole conference is a bit underpowered, and we are the only juggernaut running. We win 48-23. Hall is Game MVP with 34 carries, 196 yards and 3 scores. Backup WR Moe Austin had 142 yards, 6 catches, and 1 TD. Dallas defeats the 49ers 24-14

The 2044 Super Bowl
Your AFC Champion Huntington Highlanders, 15-1, #1 seed vs. Your NFC Champion Dallas Cowboys, 11-5, #2 seed Here we go. Let’s look through the game log - Schlereth sacked their QB on the first possession. We go three and out, and then Gus Arellano knocks down a pass on their next drive. Then, DT Solymos gets a sack to end that drive. Dallas misses a 49 yard FG. We got seven and out. Three and out by Dallas. The first play of the second quarter sees Albert Hall run in a three yard score. Three and out by Dallas. We have a long ten play drive that grinds the clock, features seven runs, and ends with a 33 yard FG. Dallas goes pass happy and drives quickly and gets a score. 10-7 Grady High runs, throws five times, and runs again. With 10 seconds left in a half, we kick a 4 yard FG and make it - 13-7 at the half. A 15 play drive takes half of the third quarter and ends with a 1 yard TD plunge by Albert Hall. 19-7 after a failed 2 point conversion. Dallas goes three and out after Schlereth has a blocked pass. Two 17 yard passes to Sampson and Austin get us down the field quickly. After being under pressure, High scrambles 13 yards for a score. 26-7. Another three and out for Dallas after Solymos gets a 6 yard sack on the first down and Arellano and Cochrane share an 8 yard sack on second down. End of third quarter 7 plays go very little, and we have a poor 24 yard punt. Dallas gets the ball at their 46, good field position. Another three and out with another sack by Solymos. With great field position, three plays and 43 yards sees Rick Rivers catch a 16 yard score. 33-7. After a bit of moving the ball, Dallas breaks open a 47 yard run for a score. 33-14. We recover the onside kick. With Hall taking over the game, three runs of 3, 15 and 26 yards gets us another score - 40-14. 2 and out with Dallas after Solymos gets a pick from the DT position. Huntington gets the ball back and runs out the clock. Game MVP - Albert Hall.

Team Stats:
The most rushing yards and passing yards. Our 9.0 yards per pass attempt is 1.1 higher than the next team at 7.9. We allowed the fewest rushing yards in the league. And the fewest passing yards in the league. We led the league with a blistering +20 TO Margin. We had 41 sacks and allowed 37. That is a really strong set of stats. Individual Stats: QB Grady High 312 of 455, 68.5%, 31:9 ratio, 111.2 QB Rating, 4101 yards, 2 rush TD and 21 rush yards That’s another great season by my best QB in this dynasty. Let’s see if he can keep it up! RB Albert Hall 386 runs for 1454 yards, 18 Tds, 3.7 avg (low), 86 catches, 1022 yards, 6 rec TD. Another very good year for my Marshall Faulk type back Receiving: WR Richard Luong - 56 grabs, 882 yards, 5 TD, WR Moe Austin - 49, 718, 4 TE Rick Rivers, 38, 529, 6 and 11 starts With the injuries to starters Rick Rivers, Jerry Platt and a new guy in Moe Austin, the beneficiary of those 4000+ yards was my great receiving back, Hall. K Darrin Maloney, 34 of 39 FGs made, 64 of 65 PAT. P Bennie Bridges, 43.6 average, 3rd best in league, 34 punts out of 70, long of 70 yards. DE Gus Arellano 35 tackles, 12 assists, 14 sacks, 5 blocks, 7 hurries, 1 FumRec DT Marvin Solymos, 19 tackles, 10 assists, 9 sacks, 2 blocks, 7 hurries, 2 FumRec LB Anthony McKnight, 67 tackles, 28 assists, 4 sacks, 1 block, 1 pick, 9 pasdef It’s a solid year from Arellano and Solymos, but not for the linebackers or the other D Line. CB Bob Pearson, 8 picks, 7 pasdef, 1 TD, 2 FumRec CB Roderick Hatcher, 7 picks, 7 pasdef, 2 TD S Dean Dawkins, 5 picks, 5 pasdef, 1 TD, 1 FumRec S RJ Baxter, 4 and 7 Clearly, Pearson and Hatcher are a good tandem. What about Dawkins and Baxter? OG Lewis Scott, 42 KRB, 6 sacks allowed C Rodney Harden, 30 KRB, 6 sacks allowed Rookie OT Colin Hampton, 26 KRB, 8 sacks allowed Lewis Scott turns in a very good year!

Team Awards:
Offensive Player of the Year: OG Lewis Scott. I expect good years from Hall and High. This is Scott’s third year for us. The last two he had 17 and 23 KRB. This is another level. Whenever a player goes to the next rung on the ladder, I look to put them on a team award. Defensive Player of the Year: DE Gus Arellano. I could toss this to Solymos or a corner, but I like what he has done. Remember, this is a UFA who boomed in camp and is on a professional contract despite this being just his third year. In the past two, he has 12.5 sacks each year ,and now 14. This is a very consistent performer who deserves a nod. Special Teams Player of the Year: K Darrin Maloney. With his fifth All Pro year in eight years, Darrin is All Pro royalty. I never fear when he is kicking the ball. He is a weapon that wins games and kicks with a great deal of accuracy. When my offense sputters, he will deliver. Rookie of the Year: CB Roderick Hatcher. This has got to be the least controversial selection that we made this year. Heart Award: CB Glenn Trench. Our mega green rookie nickel back had 3 picks, 3 pasdef, 2 fumrec, 1 sack and 31 tackles. He has a great set of stats despite being behind All Pro corners and Dawkins. Records: Grady High had the second best QB Rating in a season. Only his 2041 season was higher. (His 2040 season was third best). This year Jake Duffy has the most rushing TDs in a career. (He’s one of my own dudes). This was our first Super Bowl in four years and 13 in 43 years. It’s our 8th with this franchise. I think we successfully passed the torch to several new players of talent. Now we need to make decisions next year of significance such as Dean Dawkins’ expiring contract.

The new Hall of Fame includes three safeties, two kickers and a center. None of them are mine.
We have no retirees on our own team. What about others? WR Ricky Doucette LB Joe Martinez I have 33 players on my team and 56 mill under the cap. Players whose contract is up of importance: QB Brian Glenn FB Ernie Kinney OT Rickey Moss LB Oliver Nelson KR/PR Phillip Shannon S Dean Dawkins KR/PR Wayne Washington Only Dawkins and Glenn are unrestricted. What to do with Dawkins? To tag or not to tag? Let’s look at who is in the last year of their contract of value: QB Grady High RB Toby Sweeney TE Rick Rivers TE Ben Norfleet C Scottie Kromer OG Kendrick Wallace P Benny Bridges K Darrin Maloney DE Gus Arellano DT Andy Griffin LB Jamie Schneider Of those, some are staying around for sure. I may have to go really high for Arellano and High. I defiantly want to keep around Ernie Kinney, Gus Arellano, Darrin Maloney, Benny Bridges and Rick Rivers. After that, it’s just about looking at talent, cost, and stats.

My scout has had eroding skills. I want to make a play for a new one.
I sign Timothy Ingram, for 1.1 mill in 5 years. Very Good in Young Talent, Kickers, QB, O Line Good in RB, WR, DB Fair in LB, D Line 44 years old, and much better that my wheezing 72 scout Getting a new scout always changes how your players look, so let me check that out I franchise tag Dean Dawkins. DT Ike Cochrane dropped a lot. So did Andy Griffin. Hatcher eroded a bit. RJ Baxter looks better.,

We hit the FA market
I get three trade offers. None are that lights out. I extend K Darrin Maloney by two years. P Bennie Bridges doesn’t want to reup right now. To extend the QB Grady High I have to increase my cap hit this year to 58 mill from 42. That’s a rough hit. I hold up for now. We extend Rick Rivers by two years. I extend Gus Arellano by two years and cut his cap cost from 24 mill to 17 I don’t feel that I have a true professional level C on my team, so I have no desire to extend my two players there. I still have Rodney Harden as a starter for two years if I want im. OG Kendrick Wallace wasn;t good enough for another contract either. With two and a half years of starting, OT Rickey Moss has had 44 KRB total, but is good with just 12 sacks allowed. I have no desire to sign him from his RFA. I don’t have a good LB core. I need to get rid of Anthony McKnight and bring in some serious talent. Time to make some trades: I trade DE Andy Griffin to the Steelers for their 2(2) pick this year. RB Toby Sweeney to the Chargers for their 2 and 3 next year LB Anthony Mcknight to the Rail Runners for their 2(31) this year C Rodney Harden to the Colts for their 6th rounder next year Now I extend Grady High’s contract by two years.

Let’s look Draft-ward
Positions of Need: QBx2, RBx2, FB, TE, WR (perhaps x2), C (great starter only), OG, OTx3, DEx2 (inc starter), DT, LBx2, CBx2, Sx2 Biggest needs: LB, WR, OT, DE, OG and I don’t have a FB on my roster right now. I sign Dean Dawkins to a 3 year deal. With my needs, I’d best not focus on getting an extra starter in the safety territory. We skip the FA signing period and move to the draft.

The 2045 NFL Rookie Draft
We have two firsts at 25 and 36, and then four 2s (2, 15, 31, and 36), and an extra 6th (27). I have a lot of needs, so we need to hit some draftees this year. I still have some trade bait, such as TE, and WR if I want to move some peops. The top overall pick is RB Hunter Walton, from Florida, to the Giants. Our first pick arrives. Who are my targets? A star FB Shawn Finley - not right now WR Mitch Waterman, a good choice for the future. For later, QB Quinn Garner, very green, but solid potential OG Derek Whitefield (not right now, but later, sure) Some other chumps. I really like Mitch Waterman the best of these folks. Who is still on the board with 1/36? The OG is off, so I go BAOT Then I start grabbing players that are adequate right now. I BAP DT Al Wilson at 2/31. Here is the full draft. 1/25 - WR Mitch Waterman, Utah State, 5.8/5.8 1/36 - OT Mack Volz, Maryland, 4.9/5.9 2/2 - DE Erik Koplitz, Iowa State, 2.3/6.0 2/15 - LB Raymond Donovan, New Mexico, 3.6/5.2 2/31 - DT Al Wilson, Oklahoma, 3.1/5.5 2/36 - OG Stan Connell, Illinois, 3.5/5.4 3/36 - CB Clyde Nichols, Louisiana-Monroe, 2.1/4.3 4/36 - FB Ryan Garth, Pittsburg State, 3.8/3.8 5/36 - RB Malcolm Ballando, Texas A&M, 4.1/4.2 6/27 - LB Clay Stepp, Northwestern, 3.3/3.5 6/36 - S Horace Burgess, USC, 2.8/2.8 7/36 - S Dean Graham, Mississippi, 2.0/3.4 Dean is a great KR/PR After I sign my rooks, I have 11 mill under the cap in room I sign some UFA: TE Louis Morin OT Wayne Lyon OT John Lucky QB Edwin Arevalo QB Lincoln Block RB Allen Richardson C Marvin Shuman DE Leslie Boireau CB Tyrone Brown Now I have just 210k in cap room

Let’s go camping!
We sold all 65k tickets Let’s look at the rooks! WR Mitch Waterman, 46/68 CB Clyde Nichols, 34/67 FB Ryan Garth, 41/66 RB Malcolm Ballando, 52/63 DE Erik Koplitz, 28/63 DT Al Wilson, 47/60 (I think he looks a lot better, pots of 48, 93, and 60) LB Raymond Donovan, 36/60 OT Mack Volz, 32/59 S Horace Burgess, 23/56 S Dean Graham, 24/36 LB Clay Stepp, 15/36 OG Stan Connell, 5/16 - Mega Bust, ouch I can start Kendrick Wallace or Jeremy Edwards at OG, so it’s not an emergency that Stan busted, but it’s sad. This will not be a draft I’ll be remembered for. Is Mitch Waterman just an 68 pot guy? Catching - 27/77 Yards Per - 86 Catch Freq - 34/82 3rd Down - 32 Carrying - 67 Endurance - 72 Now, I grant you that the 3rd down is lackluster but the rest is quite solid. I don’t think that’s a bad WR at all. He’s no Marvin Graham, but who is? Here’s another I like - FB Ryan Garth: Potentials - 82, 78, 71, 100, 61, 66, 79, 82, 74 Is that an overall 66 potential player? I doubt it. I‘m happy with several of these folks

I only have 7 players with a potential of 80+ - Both of my kickers, Dean Dawkins, Rick Rivers, RJ Baxter, Grady High and Gus Arellano.
I hate throwing good money after bad, so I cut Stan Connell. I sign OG UFA Marshall Rhodes I now have 2.8 mill avail # of Professional Contracts on my Team QB Grady High TE Rick Rivers WR Jerry Platt P Bennie Bridges K Darrin Maloney DE Gus Arellano DT Marvin Solymos CB Bob Pearson S Dean Dawkins It’s not that many. We are in a state of flux. High has entered his 14th year. Dawkins, Rivers and Platt are all in their 10th. I have no LBs or O Line on the list, and only 7 of my 22 starters are on a professional contract.

I only have one that I really like, so anybody can jump up OG Lewis Scott - All Pro year, yay! C Kevin Graham - Under new scout, is now the best C I have OG Kendrick Wallace - Has several seasons of starting, never been good OT Mack Volz - Can the rookie keep up? P Bennie Blades - Great player! K Darrin Maloney - Tons of All Pros DE Erik Koplitz - Another rookie starter here DT Marvin Solymos - The rock in the center of my defense DT Ike Cochrane - Just ebbed out rookie Al Wilson DE Gus Arellano - Let’s see an all-pro year now LB Jamie Schneider - The weak link on my team is my LB Corps LB Raymond Donovan - Rookie starting in the middle LB JT Schlereth - Meh CB Bob Pearson - The man CB Roderick Hatcher - Was he a one-year wonder? S Dean Dawkins - Still a great player, but doesn’t always play up to it S RJ Baxter - Great on paper, adequate on the field Graham and Pearson will be used as returners this year I actually have room for one more player on my roster, and I could use another KR, let me see who is out there. I sign UFA WR Corey McNeil and he will be a KR for us as well.
