Almost have to LOL at this point I think.
UT finally scores a touchdown, their first in just over 12 quarters (last one came just before halftime vs UMass) How, you ask? A 97 yd pick six thrown by Bamas backup QB.

Matt Campbell is the next hot coach. He has ISU playing really well. And that is a hard thing to do.
He will land somewhere big soon.

Barkley is the best player.
Ran one for 69 yards off a direct snap.

Once again, thankful that Ole Miss & Tennessee don't play each other this year.

Crazy thing is, PSU can lose next week but if they win out, they’re probably in the playoff. The reverse tOSU, if you will.

Only if OSU can get to McSorley. Barkley is an absolute stud. He is faster and stronger than most, if not all, on the field.

GT survives Wake for homecoming. Makes them 4-2. You know why that's big?
Tech will probably be favored in only one of the their last 5 games. They need to beat Duke and probably UVA (is that more of a Pick 'Em matchup?) just to get to six wins. Remember, they lost a game to hurricane cancellation earlier this year.

Louisiana Tech just tried a 64 yard FG to win at end of regulation, and it was about 1 yard short.

Hypothetically, if tOSU beats PSU, and Alabama, Georgia, PSU, tOSU and Wisconsin wins out, I think you do see a PSU team get in over one of the two teams who lose their conference championship. The B10 still has a very strong rep, particularly if Michigan finishes the season strong. Pac-10 and ACC are down, and if TCU drops one, I can see two SEC and two B10 teams in (especially if Notre Dame lays an egg somewhere.) |

I don't think I've ever seen officials try to help a team win as much they tried to help Baylor in the 4th quarter tonight.
Penalty Yards: WVU - 134 Baylor - 20 Defensive Delay of game call (never called), chop block where the replay showed there wasn't even contact made, so many missed holding calls on Baylor the last 2 drives it was embarrassing, ect, ect, ect. |

Shout out to Rutgers with back to back B1G wins for the first time. Their next games are a gauntlet of probably losses, though they could beat IU here in Bloomington.
Wyoming loses to Boise State, but should still end up in some low level bowl when the dust settles.

How can anyone justify two Big 10 teams when the conference is clearly not very good this year? Has everyone already forgotten that Oklahoma curb stomped tOSU in their own place? The biggest OOC win for the Big Ten might be the Maryland upset over Texas or Iowa barely beating Iowa St (which I doubt they would do with the new ISU Qb playing). Unless State Penn or Wisconsin win out, I think you can legitimately question if one team gets in. Bama-Georgia go undefeated and the SEC title game is close. TCU makes it through undefeated. Notre Dame doesn't lose another game. Wisonconsin/PSU each lose 1. That's an easy scenario for the Big 10 being left out and it doesn't even include Clemson winning out the rest of the way. You’re forgetting that there’s a very strong recency bias. If tOSU and Oklahoma both win out, I bet tOSU would be ranked higher than Oklahoma because the latter’s loss is “worse” than tOSU’s loss to OK, and the OK-tOSU game will have generally lessened in impact because of how far back it was. |

The most likely way for that to happen is OSU wins out. If that happens there's no way they aren't in the playoff.

Why? Even in that scenario they beat PSU and Wisconsin, neither of whom has beaten anybody good out of conference. Neither Michigan school is anything great this year. Iowa is mediocre. The only big game that OSU played out of conference they lost by 15. I'm just looking for something that even hints at the Big 10 being good this year beyond preseason rankings. Right now I'd have to go SEC (solely due to Bama and Georgia), Big 12, ACC, Big 10, Pac 12/AAC. I honestly would take USF and UCF over the top of the Pac 12 right now. |

A B1G team will always be in the playoffs unless they have more than one loss. Delaney holds the process by the balls.
Remember who had to agree to a playoff for it to happen? Yeah, this conference.

What tarcone says.
Also, regardless of how good OSU is, if they win out they'll have likely beaten two top five teams. If any one loss team gets in it will be OSU.

BTW, I hadn't noticed it until this week, but Jeff Tedford is on pace to take Fresno St from 1-11 to undefeated (in MW play) conference champion in his first year there.

Are you purposefully being obtuse? PSU is currently 2 in the AP and Coaches. Wiscy is currently 5 and the above scenario probably demands that they win out to be in the championship game.

Georgia Southern coach Tyson Summers reportedly fired after 0-6 start - CBSSports.com
Funnier -- or sadder -- still is that the headline currently says "Georgia State" rather than "Georgia Southern"

Are you purposely being obtuse? Who the %*&## cares where they're ranked, who have they actually beat? I think PSU is a really good team, but Wisconsin hasn't played anybody with a pulse and still played close games against Northwestern and Purdue. You could make a legitimate case that they'll lose 3 of their last 4. Are we really supposed to believe they're a top 5 team because they beat Utah St, FAU, and 1-7 BYU whose only win was Portland St? If PSU runs the table it seems pretty obvious they get in. If they lose and OSU comes through the Big 10, then they should need help to make the playoff. An undefeated TCU has to go in ahead of them. The SEC winner has to go in ahead of them. If Notre Dame wins out they have to go ahead of OSU since that would add road wins at Miami and Stanford. If the SEC title game is Bama vs Georgia with both undefeated, and it's a close game, there's a legit argument for the loser ahead of OSU. |

Next on the list of coaches who have ruined a solid lower conference program and should be fired: Mike Jinks at Bowling Green. He's followed 4 straight bowl games by Dave Clawson and Dino Babers with 4-8 last year and a 1-7 start this year. |

The people who actually decide who goes to the playoff. There's no way that an undefeated PSU, an undefeated Wiscy or a one loss OSU doesn't end up going to the playoff.
