The bank square. Barkeep said you could dig in any square but D4. I figured the closest squares would not get digged up much as people would go toward the edges first. Maybe I could dig into the bank vault.

You have to use an AP and be in the same square to "give" in the morning phase. Only in the evening and afternoon can you pass items freely as long as it is posted on the board.

We're still in the morning phase so you'd have to give it as an action in your list to hoops. I'd think you'd want to make it your first action in order to make sure the person you want to give it to is there, but I can't swear to that and don't know if barkeep will tell.....

I had hoops on my mind because it looks to me like there is not really much of a clamor for an instant confirmation on Blade, so I think we should just stay loose this turn.....

Just quickly throwing out ideas:
I would wait until tomorrow then I guess. Try to stay alive tonight (maybe - hopefully all the pirates have already left the thread for the night). Use a hide action.

The thing is that after Barkeep processes the morning actions, you are going to be high on most people's jail him list. I mean if it weren't for Blade being released my vote would have likely gone to you.

If you are indeed a pirate, I don't see why would you be killed. If you are a treasure hunter, why would the pirates waste a kill on you when you're most likely going to jail.

A player may give to another as long as they start in the same square so Ardent can give anyone anything he has on the first turn as everyone starts in D4.

FYI, I chose to trust hoops since he pointed out blade is the scourge pirate.

How worried should we be that a suspected pirate is excited about a ruling?

Anyone remember the WW game where Fouts kept promising to deliver an item every day and it never materialized? This feels like a variation on that - I'm expecting that Ardent's item won't do anything and he will be mystified that it didn't work.
