9:41am CT. Back then, you were convinced DT was a wolf... 8:32pm CT -- 32 minutes after deadline. I went to work, went to happy hour, and missed the action all day. |

The numbers today were 4-1-2. If I come out, that doesn't help us identify a wolf in a must-have situation (especially true, being that I had no wolf scans). It also guarantees a successful NK of either me or the BG. And in that case, we've basically lost. |

I have no ability to nightkill, but i certainly would prefer that Danny remain alive. In fact - if you want to do us a favor - nightkill EagleFan, would you please?

Lol... well, shit, better to be lucky than good, eh, village? Maybe if y'all keep tying it up, you can find the other bad guys!
Good luck, wolves! I like my chocolate ice cream topped with blood, thank you!

Wouldn't DT's best play be to NK you? He'd have fooled you into protecting him (again, apparently) and be able to frame me for your death. |

Trying to setup your nightkill of saldana? I guess that's your only play though. I don't think my fellow villagers are going to buy your scheme, especially not after EagleFan's attempt to get me lynched at deadline today when he is clearly the cultist.

After finding a killer, everyone goes to sleep on edge but hoping that the murders will stop. Unfortunately you awake to find the body of your left hand of protection dead in the middle of the camp the night after the other half of your protection had been killed. Fear that your expedition will only lead to a death trap washes over the group.
Saldana was the martyr. Day Five begins. |

I'm actually the seer. We've been over this. Nice try though. If the village (Danny, Autumn, and I) stay united, EagleFan and you have no chance. I expect EF to probably try to muddy the waters by voting for you and thus trying to cast doubt on things and try to get Autumn/Danny to vote for me so that he can switch it at the last second.

We've butted heads all game Autumn - I don't know about you, but it always seem to me that when 2 people butt heads all game and both survive to the end like this they both tend to be villagers who are so firmly convinced that their way of approaching things is the right way that they butt heads with each other.

versus britrock who (aside from his vote tables and 1-2 posts) has been the classic definition of UTR-wolf this game.
I said I've been trying to vary my playing style to be less predictable - once I got heat on D1 I figured I'd try to stay alive by being in the thick of things and leading from the front, sort of bank on the old "hoops" theory, where the wolves don't NK the villagers who are driving the discussion and attracting votes. Attracted a bit more attention than I thought, but we've still got the win right here for us. |

I've got a day of back-to-back-to-back meetings and calls lasting probably until like 3:30, so I'm about to basically step away from the keyboard till then (unless I can sneak in a check now and then).
Just keep an eye on EF - like I noted, I fully expect him to vote for brit, but not lock it in with a nightfall vote so that he can try to snipe it at the end and win it for the village. We 3 villagers can end this before the weekend. |

You're the only one who's voted nightfall out of 4 voters, DT. Stop trying to pin EF with this. Quote:
Well, Day 2 was crazy -- EF and DT lead the charge to snipe me, but EF jumps back to DT at the last minute. I figured EF is perhaps the cultist or the wolf hiding in plain sight. I scanned him and heard back that he was "not a wolf." That combined with the late vote change made me wonder if he was just a villager fooled into going my way by a wolf, realizing the possible ramifications at the last minute, and doing his best to rectify the situation. Then there is Danny's part in this. He had that outlying vote on my on Day 2 -- that could certainly be a signal to the wolves CR and DT that he's found the seer. And on Day 3, he's part of the chaos at the end. His activity in this game has been just as confusing as EF's. It was kind of disappointing to see Danny turn an about-face after the result of yesterday. He was convinced that you or DT was the last wolf in 48-point font... then he blindly follows a fake seer reveal from DT and is hounding me. Then he suggests he'd be NKed. I suppose that if I had the ability to NK, and foresaw a showdown like today is shaping up to be, that I would have. But I can't NK, and DT needs his vote, so he's still here. |

Well, if EF is the cultist, why did he leave the vote tied between DT and I (or try to vote out DT)? And if Danny is the cultist, why did he spend all day convincing me to vote DT?

Or if ef is not the cultist by did he try and reveal as the wolf. Brit yiur story is coming apart, you say perhaps ef is a wolf hiding in plain sight but yiu supposedly scanned him as not a wolf?

You can disregard the last point, I misread your post on my phone. Still, DT has made a lot of posts this game and after his reveal, looking back, everything was consistent with his reveal.
You had almost no posts, but I saw yours as not being as consistent with your reveal. |

I'm fine with voting nightfall as well. I was waiting just in case Britrock came out to say DT had scanned clean, and maybe Danny was the wolf and DT the cultist. That was the last chance Brit had to convince me of anything toher than him being the wolf. But if Danny or EF is the cultist, and DT the wolf, then you guys have won by just being confusing.

Hence my confusion. I suppose the cultist not having figured out the identity of the wolves could lead to accidental missteps like these. With Danny and DT locked in on me, I have to convince you and EF that DT is the last wolf. If EF is the cultist, though, he could lock in his vote on me and we'd be done. I wonder if him leaving his vote open means he's willing to be swayed... |

I guess that's true. And if I had really thought that through I probably would have held off nightfall and pondered it more. But to be honest, I have a rush project I'm working on, two courses of homework to do today, and I just can't ponder the game much more than I have. I'm kind of annoyed I glossed over this fact in my mind, thinking that the cultist knew the wolves' identity. So if I'm wrong, I take the blame for not giving it some more time. I seem to make a dumb mental mistake like that in every game lately. |

I would agree with you except I am afraid that if we agree, the next step in Zinto's tie-breaking mechanism might be to erase the entire WW forum.
