Wisconsin played very well today and had plenty of chances to make the game worse. The threes were falling for the Badgers but ANYBODY can make those threes when they're THAT wide open. Kansas State cannot play perimeter defense at all. Not only can they not defend the three, they're horrible at shooting them as well. One of the worst %'s in the country as a team and when you put the Badgers on them probably makes that percentage worse yet. But I know the Cats got some good looks at threes and couldn't drop them in... whatever though.

Wisconsin deserved the win and this game should give everyone an idea of how good the Badgers are as a TEAM. No one GREAT player but plenty of good players. Hughes was the guy to step up today and play very well, matched his season high which he had in the first game of the season. Flowers and Krabby both struggled, but again, plenty of other players to pick up the slack, which KSU didn't have nor do a whole lot of teams have.

Now I can relax for four more days! Got the day off next Friday already along with the day off tomorrow so I can watch Georgetown play Davidson.

Whoever Wisconsin faces I know Pomeroy will favor Wisconsin, so I'm happy with that fact.

Does anybody have a link to Pomeroy's actual Bracket?

Stanford's head coach is called for double-technicals and is ejected from the game. Marquette will get four free-throws when the timeout is over.

curious to see what happened there once the purdue/xavier game ends.

Xavier made way too many fouls the last 48 seconds and too many turnovers for both teams during that time.

Hurray CBS switching away from a tightening Purdue/Xavier game to show UNLV/Kansas just getting started!

My surprise final 4 team. What an idiot. It was a 1 point game when he left.

I didn't see the call he was upset about, but during a timeout he went all the way across the court to where the the refs were huddled and yelled something. He was immediately tossed for whatever it was. The top assistant was standing right behind him and they had a nice shot of him putting both hands over his face after he was tossed.

That was pretty funny. FWIW, he had already received one T and went across the court for the second.

It wasn't even a big or controversial call at all. Idiotic thing to do, especially so early in the game.

I really need a Stanford win for my crappy bracket to have any chance of coming back. Right now, the Lopez twins are getting going and I think they might just pull it out.

Why not take me to the Stanford game? I realize I live in Indiana but I do not care about Notre Dame, especially when they are losing by 20 points.

That is the advantage of having a couple 7 footers sitting in the lane..

You'd think with two 7 footers that Stanford wouldn't be getting outrebounded 37-29.

Lots of pushing and shoving in that last 9 seconds there. Great play, and great officiating. Pac 10 officials would be making some weak call and not let the players determine who wins.

Is it me, or did Brook Lopez look like Tim Duncan in his prime during that OT. That was pretty darn dominating.

I can't. If that hadn't happened, Arkansas would've had some noob team in the championship game that year.

A&M has been a real head-scratcher this season. Some games they look like they could beat any team in the country, and other games they look downright pedestrian. They are giving UCLA all they can handle right now.

Ugh. Pitt losing is a bad, bad thing. I had them at least Elite Eight on all my brackets, if not Final Four.
