Maybe polarized wasn't the right term, but people are definitely getting different reads. That doesn't say much to me right now, I just know I don't think he's one of the best candidates for today.

I guess don't really buy the Autumn-Passa conversation as being wolf-wolf. But that's based on myself - there's no way I'd engage in something like that with another wolf were I a wolf. I don't think Passa would be completely adverse to it but I don't know if it's the sort of thing Autumn would go in for.

And when I say I don't know I mean that literally not in the sense that I don't think he would do it.

I don't think we're going to benefit from an NTN runaway but I suspect that that's what we're going to get today. And even if we don't I think wolves are going to be voting for him whatever he is.

vote telle There is a good chance I will switch back, but I like the two as our candidates today and so making it 2-2 early should help make that happen |

Not in your favor that you waited until today to reveal that since most people did yesterday, but at least you fessed up.

Now I'm just trying to decide if I should keep it or pass it on to someone else. I prefer to hold on to it if I'm likely to be lynched.. but on the other hand I don't want to be a night target for the wolves if I don't get lynched.

They have more concerning issues, like three cleared players, one of whom is the seer, plus an unknown bodyguard (assuming fezzik is in the game, which I'm sure he is).

Still no reason to go putting a target on my back. And it's not like the information helps the village in any way.

While telle should be looked at but it could have been as she said. I don't think a wolf comes out and says they have it. Do they? |

If Telle was a wolf she could have claimed not to have it, meaning that one of us would have been lying or PF had won it and it had gone random, which is what a wolf who used it later could claim. But I don't think her claiming it should influence you much one way or another. |

Because if she did get lynched today and we found out she had it and she won the battle of wits, she'd definitely get lynched tomorrow if she hadn't admitted to having it prior. This way she can at least say she told us she had it.

Actually, one of the rules of the powder is that your role gets revealed. Since mine wouldn't come up "wolf", there would be no reason for you to lynch me tomorrow. |

That makes the iocane powder much, much less useful. My whole discussion about it on D1 was assuming the winner of the battle of wits wouldn't have their role revealed. Should've done closer reading. In fact the wolves would really only want to use that in an endgame scenario, or a seer-scan like Pass.

Much less useful for the wolves, that is. Great for a villager, especially since they know they won't be challenging the seer. Would hope it wouldn't set up a showdown with Fezzik if Telle was the one to be lynched, but that's about it.

Right so if the chalengee wins, they won't have their role revealed, which makes sense. But I was assuming it would be a very useful tool for the wolves by them escaping a lynch and not having their role revealed, and that mechanic isn't in place. So, yeah.

Telle you might as well hang on to it. the only folks you could trust with it would not be lynched anyway.

This could present us with an interesting situation if Telle was lynched and challenged NTN. Would give us a chance to find out both of their allegiances.

at least having a chance to add to the circle of trust seems a worthwhile thing. If she wins then we KNOW her allegiance and another possible is gone, if not it gets rid of a another potential wolf.

I think it has merit myself. Look at it this way - at least everyone will be hoping that you win the battle of wits. I don't think we should get on Telle's back about not revealing that she didn't have the powder. There's really no reason for her to come out with the info if she's a wolf, except to try and get some trust. |

I know I said I could never get a good read on Lathum but he's really starting to ping me. Am I the only one seeing a possible Lathum-NTN connection?

Fair enough. I'll buy that unless there's a counter. Sort of good luck/bad luck there. Bad luck that you were forced to reveal but good luck that having a role clears a suspect player.

Well I feel pretty good about my vote. If there's no counter this is probably going to be a runaway though.

I'd be shocked if NTN isn't a wolf if Telle is telling the truth.
