Coffee Warlord -- mccollins (493), Chief Rum (661)
st.cronin -- dangarion (743) PurdueBrad -- st.cronin (506), oliegirl (610), hoopsguy (663), The Jackal (683), Coffee Warlord (726), Kwhit (736), jeheinz72 (745), Passacaglia (750) EagleFan -- RendeR (674) hoopsguy -- EagleFan (657), PurdueBrad (668), Lathum (670), seolian Now, to get some analysis in on this vote, in the event I bite it. First, the PB votes. I'm tending to say the early, pre-reveal votes, despite the rapid fire actin there, are probably cats. I don't see a lot of purpose of dogs piling on another dog that early. The later, post-reveal votes...jeheinz and Passa are prolly on the point of no return side. Me and KWhit basically provided the nails in the coffin. Passa I believe is a good guy. Heinz doesn't have much good going for him. Dangarion just got a lot of wolf points by being the lone voice on Cronin. EF, Lathum, Seolian, and the known wolf PB on hoops...that's a decent block of votes when it was still up in the air. I find that highly suspicious, knowing what we know now. I still am not sure what to make of CR's vote on me. |

CW, I agree that I made my vote after I was sure that PB was on his way out. I was hoping we could see who tried to save him, just like I did Day 1. But once heinz put his vote on PB, my guess was that the wolves gave up on him.

Man, I am playing very poorly.
Still though, I mean I thought Cronin was a wolf on Day One, for me to not continue that to start Day 2 seems foolish. Then he reveals, and I take my vote off. How was I supposed to know? But yeah, I can see where that'll get me lynched. |

And I didn't check the unvotes there, so if that modifies my above analysis signifigantly, feel free to make a point about it.

Yeah, I didn't want to put it on him really, I wanted the same thing. But by the same token, since I know I'm a cat, and people keep calling me out, I can't exactly take the risk of leaving myself with another bad vote. I guess it's just my game for bad votes though no matter what I do. |

Dola. I'd argue they had to give up on him once cronin revealed and me and KWhit put 2 more quick votes on him. Hell, one could argue me and KWhit's votes were past the 'fuckit' point and thusly questionable. But I know at least one of those two (me and KW) are good.

For clarification of this, I'm looking at posts 649 and 650. hoops quotes PB's post with a bunch of "see"s in it, and adds a few in his post 649. Then in post 650 he comes out against PB. I was thinking that if PB is a wolf, then hoops is the seer. But if PB is the chihuahua, that seems like hoops is the fool. |

How do you know you are the fool? I PM'd Clap during PB's reveal to make sure I had it straight...the fool will get the same result (either dark or light) no matter who he scans, since we've only gotten scan results once so far, how do you know you are the fool? |

He said he scanned cronin. A 'correct' cronin scan would show him as dark. |

because the fool will always get a scan of either light or dark. Cronin came back Light in my scan result. If we assume cronin is the stray he will scan as dark, hance I am the fool. |

That doesn't jive with the rules. As for Lathum, he's saying he's the fool because he scanned cronin as a villager, but since cronin is the stray, if Lathum were the seer, cronin should have scanned wolf. |

Wait, Olie is right. It just says you'll always get light or dark, not that you'll always get the wrong answer.

Unless I misunderstood what Clap said, he told me that the fool will not get a 'reverse' result, but always get the same result - either light or dark - regardless of who he scans. I was pretty specific when I asked b/c I really didn't believe PB's reveal so I was trying to figure out a way to catch him. If Cronin's lying, then we can't clear Lathum as the fool. That was my point. Until we have a confirmed role that was scanned, we can't be sure. If Lathum is the fool, he'll have to scan someone and post his results before that person dies and their role/aura is revealed in the player list... |

Olie IS right on that part. But it's irrelevant. Assuming cronin is the stray, if you are telling the truth about scanning cronin and having him turn up light, then you have to be the fool.

That's a lot different from always getting the same result no matter who you scan. Anyway, that's why lathum asked if everyone trusts cronin before making his reveal. |

there is no "randomness" I specificly checked when I got my role. Every one of the fools scans would either be 100% light or 100% dark |

Jesus christ people. no. Before the game it is determined if all the fools scans will come back light or dark. The person they scan is irrelavent. I could scan all 17 people in the game and they would all come back light becuase that is what was determined ahead of time. |

Either way, the actual seer will get the correct result. Which means Lathum can't be the seer, and neither can hoops, if Pass read the hints right.

I gotta go against hoops in that one -- he just hinted rather than revealed, so I think he was just keeping that in his pocket if needed.

Alright guys - I'm heading out to the pool for a couple of hours. If I die tonight, look to Lathum...I think he's a wolf and that I've caught him in a fake reveal. The other 2 on my suspect list are still McCollins and Heinz.
Until Cronin is confirmed with his Stray role, we have NO way of knowing if Lathum is telling the truth. If there is a bodyguard out there who can protect me tonight, please do |

So what I am taking away from this is that Lathum and Hoops are not telling the truth and should be punished for this.

Because if you are a wolf and come out with a fake reveal as the fool, then you are "harmless" and there is no reason to kill you. Thus you get to stay around and make trouble longer... |
