Barkeep, just to clarify - 1st vote on a person means the first vote listed that stays on a person, correct? That unvotes do not come into play doing these calculations?

I don't think the assassin's totals are listed.
Also, I am not in faction A. |

I'll be listing all voting records a little while later - just putting them into a spreadsheet now. That way the information will be available to anyone who wants to try and digest it.

First vote is the first vote that is on that person that remains on that person at the end of the day. So if someone unvotes the second vote might become the first vote. I only list the votes, not the unvotes in my quotes, so, for instance, you are the first vote for lonestargirl. |

Cool, to use a specific example - Blade was the first vote on Grey up until two minutes before deadline when he moved to Cronin. Anxiety became, at that moment the first voter for Grey for today's action, correct?

WOOHOO, so does that mean I win the game cuz I was the first to say execute Qwik and he was bad? And I get rewarded by being thrown in jail? Thanks guys

Question, the person who votes to execute a bad guy first gets the most points correct? And since I voted Qwik first then that would be my faction? So wouldn't that automatically mean I am in the faction with the most points?

Qwik did not vote yesterday when he was in a one vote scenario - sucks for the assassins.

Barkeep, want to make sure I have the correct assumption here.
Vote totals reflect: Day 1 - Jail (Bullet) Day 2 - Execute? (Bullet) Day 2 - Jail (Qwik) Day 3 - Execute? (Qwik) But not Day 3 - Jail? (LSG) |

Fouts, if you are going to be around for awhile I would love to run some scenarios past you if you feel like you have stuff pretty nailed down. I just want to crunch the numbers first and then work on the groups.

And since he is here I'll say one more time that we need votes tomorrow from Bulletponge. You are costing our faction points.

Looks like half the players are here tonight. We should be able to have a good discussion to get the ball rolling and to get a lot more of us clued in, as I am sure most of you are as confused as i am.

A sheepish court servant comes in.
Turns out someone didn't know how to use their abacus correctly. And well instead of subtracting -.5 someone added .5 to Faction D's total. This is why such things are double checked and even checked again after being posted. Correct totals for all teams are: Faction A 9.5 Faction B 4.5 Faction C 2.5 Faction D 6 Faction E 4.5 With team D having the switch due to a typo... err abacus error. I trust this is going to be done publicly. I think, looking at the point totals, we should figure on the assassins MOST LIKELY being B, C, or E.

Well, it makes no sense to me that the assassins would not kill, and vote for one of their own to be executed. Either they care about points, or they don't.
So, the rest of our assassins should be in this group - Quote:

It is possible that they are giving up points in the short term to become trusted and glide to victory later. That seems like an odd plan though. We probably screwed up by jailing LSG. Even if the assassins are willing to give up a few points, I wouldn't expect them to give up first-voting points. |

MrW, will absolutely be done publicly - we aren't allowed private communications in a WW game unless we are wolves/assassins/whatever.
Have all the Day 1 and Day 3 stuff listed, collecting Day 2 and will post the stuff here - will probably post in another thread where I'm allowed to edit before posting it here to avoid potential ugliness. |

Don't forget the clever assassin. With no kill in night 1 or night 2, they might have (particularly on night 2) elected to plant evidence on Qwikshot. If that's the case, the next point total could look very different.

I am positive of my leader (obviously), feel very strongly about one other, and thought I had a third but then decided that wasn't the case.

Why the hell am i having such a hard time figuring out who is in my faction other than my Leader? Am i missing something here? Or maybe I am just skimming instead of paying attention to the clues. At least I can assume that the folks that jailed me aren't in my faction, right?

It is possible, but I still would have suspected someone to come to Qwik's aid. I think the assassins all realized that Qwik was gone and they went into hiding. |

if 3 total = 5 factions of 3 + 4 assassins (assassins points hidden) if 4 total = 4 factions of 4 + 3 assassins (assassins point total is listed) I'm not sure how you went from confused about your faction, to almost positive. I hope to hear from somebody else about this. |

I still think the original distribution was four non-assassin factions of four each, plus three assassins. I think the outcome of this night is critical to our determination of what happened in the first two nights, because (depending on the results) we may be able to eliminate the delayed kill.

I think the adding and subtracting of players could play into this. That is the stance I'm taking at least and what I have run across. Assume nothing, especially if you don't know who is in your faction, they may not know about you as well. |

those doing point totals remember the sub that hasn't been found for Dodgerchick doesn't hurt that faction for the no vote today too.

Whether it would be worthwhile for them to do at this stage of the game is hard for me to say. Personally, I think they'd probably be better off saving it for more of an endgame play, where it could be used to throw everything into turmoil during a critical day, but I have no idea how things are going to play out once we get heavily into the points analysis.

Dola, and the benefit to using it now is that they could completely mess up our accounting when they're the weakest, buying time until the group has been winnowed down to a slightly more manageable size.
