Again, if SnDvls turns out to be good... then it was HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE wording on the Anti-Disappiration spell. The spell should have been similar to something like an "Anti-Apparition spell on a target house."

Yes, it did say "within the village borders" not into the village. Plus he mentioned having several magic items, which sounds odd, but who knows, we will probably soon find out.

From my understanding it prevented apparation into the city and disapparation out of the city. It isolated us from the outside world, but apparations and disapparations can still occur inside.

BTW, apparations cause unavoidable loud POPPING noises, due to the air being moved in place of the apparationee.

I think Gramm wanted the same thing as me, a chance to try to validate someone else through a tie. someone duking wvufan (or someone else) wouldnt help that other than validates the duke for everyone else. But I am hesitant to use that yet until we have a better feel for who is and is not in our circle of trust

My justification for going along with SnDvls is that a play involving the DEs doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense at this stage, and if he's not trustworthy we can just as easily get him tomorrow. Neon's arguments about the spell situation do seem compelling, so I'm left wondering whether I actually did the right thing. I'm still leaning towards a yes, but I guess I'll find out shortly.

Anger courses through the crowd of villagers over the deaths of Barkeep and Blade last night. You all focus this anger on SnDvls and WVUFan throughout the day, with the night drawing in upon you the decision cannot be reached by any further discussion. The all too familiar sensation of despair and cold begins to ebb away at the edges of your emotions. You know that the Dementor has returned, but whom do you give to it? The door to the Wasted Wizard Inn opens slowly and 9 feet of doom hovers in the doorway once again. It stops just past the entryway, hesitating as it gazes first at SnDvls, then at WVUFan. A chorus of voices yells each of their names and tries to encourage the Dementor forward.

After another moment where it seems to be making up its mind, it moves towards SnDvls. He does not cower as Qwikshot did the night before however, thrusting his hand into his robes for his wand. “Incarcerum” shouts Neon_Chaos, who had led the charge against SnDvls early in the day and was untrusting of his motives. Bands of rope shot out of the end of NCs wand wrapping them tightly around the arms of SnDvls, who now, unable to move, begins to succumb to the powers of the Dementor. He musters one last bit of courage before collapsing in fright however, and manages one final outburst of anger, “I will be exalted by the Dark Lord! I have given my life in his service, and all of you will one day bow before his power, or die in your resistance!” The Dementor upon him, SnDvls is unable to even resist without the use of his arms, and for the second time in as many nights, you all watch with a bit of revulsion as SnDvls’ soul is sucked out through his mouth.

Although his dying words left little doubt of his allegiances, you once again tear the sleeve of his robes off of his left arm to find another Dark Mark staring up at you. As you move off to search his rooms, you find a shallow stone basin with strange markings around the edge, filled with a milky white substance, neither solid, nor liquid. Neon_Chaos prods the substance with his wand, “It is a Pensieve. SnDvls was siphoning off his evil memories and blocking me from his mind. It is the tool of an Occlumens.” And it is with this knowledge filling your minds that you head to your own homes, knowing that a highly gifted agent of the Dark Lord has died this night
