Wow..

That could have just completely shifted the game if that DB holds onto the INT.

Man, KU is getting nothing on offense now. VT made some great adjustments at the half. It's time for KU to do the same now.

Quick question from last night's game. On Pat White's long pass to the WR who emotional (sorry don't remember his name), White looked like he was hit in the head when he was throwing. Is that not a roughing the passer the penalty in college? That was just the most recent example of a college QB taking some shots that I know would have drawn flags in the NFL. The shot, well one of the shots that Brennan took in the Sugar Bowl gave me the same thought. He would get hit and then get driven into the ground. I know that is not allowed in the NFL.

For as crappy as KU has played so far in the 3rd Q, it's amazing they're still up 3. This is how KU has been all year long

College football doesn't protect QBs like the NFL does. I do not believe shots to the helmet on a quarterback are automatic penalties.

The Kansas QB does the most running for the least yardage that I have ever seen.

Helmet to helmet is a penalty in College. In fact, they called one of those penalties last night, just not on that play.

My guess is that the referees (and crappy announcers) just didn't notice it.

Come On Va Tech!

I am not a guy who does the whole conference pride thing. I just want to see a BCS game that goes down to say the last 6 mins of the game.

Blech.

Turnover after turnover. Dropped a TD pass, had a FG blocked. Miserable effort by VT. Lousy way to say goodbye to a great senior class.

Finally a close BCS game. Good job Kansas!

Now we get to wait until Monday for the final game. No disrespect to the participants of the International and GMAC Bowls but who made up this schedule? The NBA?

The SEC has done better in the lower echelon games (Kentucky beating half of Florida State's team, Alabama beating 6-7 Colorado, Mississippi State over UCF), so their record will be better, but the top of the Big XII was 4-1, which is pretty impressive.

Amusing quote from the KU cornerback after last night's game.

Talib: "I guess they gotta say we played someone now"

Last I checked, they did play someone in the regular season and got beat.

Oklahoma State also beat a Big Ten team. Didn't see the game, though, it's entirely possible that Indiana played like they were just happy to be there after the whole "Play 13" deal and Coach Hoeppner's death.
