I really love the value of the Hill pick for the Jets. Unfortunately I don't think they'll be able to maximize his skills with their lack of a strong armed QB and it really lessens his value. At the end of the day, I think they should have went elsewhere with that pick because of this.

I think the Niners hit a home run with James.

Not sure about Indy going back to back with TEs.

Nice value on both, but coming off the season they had last season, they have more pressing needs than that 2nd TE.

What worse in third? Punter or trading up to take receiver with seventh round grade?

And yeah Eisen has been great. Even more so for how much he annoys Mayock at times

Baltimore is having a nice draft.

The OT out of Iowa State is a real good pick for a late 2nd rounder.

That punter rant was the funniest thing I have seen in a week or two.

You figure it's going to to take 2 to 3 drafts (including this one) for the Colts to rebuild their team though so you might as well go BPA which seems to be what they did. The Patriots showed you can utilize two TEs in this league so I love both picks.

Also, Brian Billick is about 10,000 times better than any analyst on ESPN. I enjoy listening to him talk about players.

In theory I think he can create spacing for Holmes and Keller. But they are probably not going to commit so much evtra over the top help if he isnt creating the long home run plays. I'm not sure what Sanchez's long passing numbers are. His interview I heard on the radio made me think he has a good head on his shoulders.

Laughing my ass off at a team with as many needs as the Jaguars taking a punter in the 3rd round.

Congrats to Wilson for going in the third round! Much better than some expected. I will forever remember him as the best QB of all time -- At Wisconsin.

He'll be behind Flynn and get a shot when Flynn fails.

Wilson pick is interesting. Only one starting QB in the league under 6' but it's Brees.

Count me in the camp who thinks that Russell Wilson can be a top NFL QB and much like Bree's, size won't be an issue.

Well, I consider it a hedge for having Gabbert starting at QB.

The Jags have to be early favorites for the #1 pick, right? You could pursuade me that the Rams have 2 good chances as well.

Wilson benefited massively from his supporting cast at Wisconsin. He was 5th in his conference before going there.

Anything happens to Jones-Drew and the Jags cruise easily to the 2013 number one pick.

Toon is good but not great; Abby was a walk receiver who has turned into a WR who is better than Toon (in college anyway). Montee Ball is obviously great but Wilson succeeded because he was a damn good college football player. He played behind a line that was bigger than all but one NFL OL and proved that height really didn't bother him a whole lot. Ball probably benefited more from Wilson than the other way around.

I think the Seahawks still have no real idea of who they want to play QB. They'll just keep adding them until one stands out.

So the Giants take a WR that they say is "NFL ready" and they were considering in the 1st round. Sure hope he can jump right into Manningham's spot.

I guess this also means that Ramses Barden isn't coming along as well as they'd like.

And he won't have that massive line to be behind in Seattle either. Wisconsin mauled many teams unlike what Seattle will do. Again, before going to Wisconsin he was merely a mid level conference kind of guy.

I'm finding Massie's drop to be interesting. He's been listed as best overall for some time.

Ugh Cards get a gift when the offensive tackle Massie falls to them in the third round when they didn't have a 2nd pick and they take a CB. After drafting Patrick Peterson in the first round last year. Just great.

Yeah. Massie must have failed a drug test or something.

He was projected to be long gone by now (and this seems like a pretty weak year for OTs).

Taking a long view, I like what the Dolphins are doing. They won't be substantially better this year but are building a solid offensive core if Tannehill pans out.

Still need to find a deep threat.
