*wipes brow* We're not as screwed as it seemed like. Engineers need to work on the slave pens ASAP. Then everyone who can spare the AP needs to go slave herding. Then we'll deal with the other stuff -- the water next, probably.

Agreed.. engineers need to get the slave pens fixed asap today so we can then see if we have time for anything else after rounding up the slaves. |

Barkeep :
The slave herding action is 1 AP per 4 slaves where Security personal have a chance of being injured and non-security personal have a chance of being killed along with a high risk of being injured... That is day or night action right? |

Can I work while Exhausted? I mean, I'm up for it, I'm a tough SOB, but will the game allow it?
If so, I'll put in my order to get working on the pens ASAP. FYI, and I don't know if this matters, but I saw a slave attack Danny and wound him |

I assume it is day action as well.. so theoretically we have enough security personal to herd up the slaves today once the slave quarters are fixed...
Barkeep one other question.. once the slaves are herded up can they still go on an away mission today or not? |

You can still work if exhausted, you just have a small chance of the action failing. |

Seems that since Danny won't be around till this afternoon that we need Tyrith and our other engineers to start up on the Slave pens (Those three should give 4 points of work with Tyrith's bonus).. and we can then see if any of the exhausted engineers failed because of exhaustion and then we need to order Danny to work on them too. |

I am going to start working on planning 2 mining away missions. Any reason I should do something else today?

Kwhit, Were both of your planned missions from yesterday used up, or did Saldana not use your mining mission? I kind of wouldn't mind if you held back at least 1 AP in case you need it to order someone to do a function. I'm trying to avoid doing any ordering today at least for now if I can just in case I need all 3 AP to destroy the slaves for some reason. If we get to later in the day and it doesnt look like you'll need to use that AP then go for another planning mission if you want. |

I asked BK about Saldana's mission, but never got an answer. BK, do I still have a planned away mission available or did Saldana use it yesterday? |

Tyrith & jeheinz waste no time. Right after breakfast the two get to repairing the slave pens. Also after breakfast, mccollins approaches claphamsa and informs him that clap will be training to become an engineer.

So KWhit planned 2 missions yesterday and Telle and Saldana used them.
I think we need to send 2 mining missions out today. What is the ramifications of our cargo hold being broken though? |

Bugger. That makes me a little more suspicious of Saldana to be honest. He only had slaves with him, so no one else could have sabotaged the mission, so it was either a really really bad roll of the dice, or Saldana didn't do his job properly. |

We don't have enough engineer power - The slave pen needs one more cycle to be fixed and the cargo hold needs 3 cycles to be fixed.

Sigh, we have to fix the hold before we can take anything in or out. It says that it's damaged but the text is green, which is confusing, but I'm going to assume it's broke.
Which also means we have no water. |

I think the pens are probably little more important right now. Mainly because if we are constantly getting injured and having to trip over slaves, we won't have the time or resources to mine. Either way, looks like all the engineers are fixing the pens now.

Furthermore, regarding engineers and fixing the engine room:
Quote:
The engine damage is currently at 8 cycles. Thus, if the engine is damaged 4 more cycles worth, it will automatically jump to 24 cycles worth of damage! |

Crap. How many cycles can we repair today?
Best case 6? 3 from the 3 engineers and the chief engineer gets 3 more. But there is a chance one or more won't take because of exhaustion.... |

BK - Because Danny was injured while working last night is that why his action didn't take?
We had 5 damage on the pens and Danny and I both worked, shouldn't that make 3 (now fixed with me and Tyrith on it today). Or does the fact he got wounded mean his action didn't count? |

If we can't get any water out of the hold today we are in SERIOUSLY deep trouble. I'd like confirmation of the this fact, please.

I'm not sure, it didn't say in my PM anything about my action failing or being successful, just that I was attacked by a slave. I am repairing the slave pens again today. Hopefully it will be successful.

Well, it looks like we won't be able to go mining today. So instead of wasting a day, I think we should send an away team out to explore again. I'd recommmend another mining mission.

In my opinion, the cargo hold was more important than the slave pen this morning. We could have had 2 mining missions for crys and then possibly 2 more tomorrow and been done mining.
And without water: Quote:
Of course, we could use this to find any spawn among us... |
