Alan T told me that the PM he recieved the first night was very very neutral toned, obviously deliberatley. Lots of stuff about sin, faith and forgiveness. We both immediatley were very suspicious but Hoops little weasely work got him free again (I even ended up voting for Fouts, oops).

AlanT never mentioned anything about an amount of gold to me, although that doesn't necessarily mean he wasn't offered any. He only briefly mentioned what was in his PM really and I didn't think to ask much more about its contents.

What I mean, is, it's not possible to bribe and attack on the same night. So I think what Alan experienced was probably different from what you experienced.

Although I suppose there may be cases where it is possible ... I don't really know. I'm very much in the dark in this game.

What the hell. I had the thread opened earlier but was busy with some work stuff.

My defense burns my role, but it's gonna be shot now anyway. You're getting ready to lynch your seer. My views to date:

N1 -- Saldana, who I chose because of his weird posting. Not a Dimir.
N2 -- Hoops for obvious reasons. Dimir, but I didn't need to reveal that since he got caught that night.

Now, I don't know how if I was picked randomly to be the Dimir lynch target today or if they somehow got hold of my role, but just know that we now have another one for sure in Barkeep.

Vote Barkeep

That last sentence, for the record, was said in the style of Comic Book Man from the Simpsons and should be read accordingly .

Can't really help that now, can I? Who would you have picked for those two views? I thought the choices were pretty obvious.

I don't think scanning hoops is the "obvious" night 2 thing to do at all.

The way it was phrased to me was that I am the scholar. Through years of practice I have developed the ability to study members of the guild to determine whether or not they are loyal to the Orzhov cause. I can choose one player per night and will be told whether they are loyal Orzhov or Dimir. I cannot get any detailed role information other than that.

Really? After the Fouts/Hoops near tie? Who might you have chosen?

And isn't it interesting that nobody has come out to either a) defend me or b) counter my claim......

I have to leave for work soon (4:30 - 10:30 EST) so I won't be back until after the vote even tho today seems pretty straight forward (which is why I think there's very little discussion so far)

Fuck. OK already. Bad choice, I get it. Sheesh.

Has anyone come out to say I'm not legit though? Has anyone countered my reveal? You might think I'm a shitty seer, but I am your seer nonetheless.

Maybe the real seer doesn't want to risk coming out when a Dimir has been so obviously trapped in a lie.

Well that's a nice "when did you stop beating your wife" argument.

The only accusation against me is your story. So I don't think it's nearly as obvious as you make it out to be.

I'm not going to stop answering any questions any of you might have, but I am going to stop trying to defend myself more than I already have. If you choose to lynch your seer, I will go to my death like the Orzhov I am.

I'm really not sure. Like I mentioned earlier, I've tried to fly sort of low this game since I've not been a seer before. And I haven't gotten any PM's that make me feel like I was being watched or anything like that.

Path, you're a experienced player who has played in many WW games. Why would anyone want to view someone who is 100% going down the next day, regardless of what you might state? It just doesn't make sense to view Hoops in that situation.

So ok ...

If path turns up bad we have one left, probably one of these three:

Chief Rum
Chubby
Schmidty

Time for a reveal from me, even though I don't know exactly what to do with it.

While trying to prevent hoops from trying to probe/kill (presumably kill, since that is what Fouts said) someone on night 2 (the night before his lynch), someone tried to cast a spell on hoops, but my magic prevented anything from getting in or out to hoops that night. In my estimation, one of these three guys were the party responsible.

Bad luck, that. Certainly would have been easier to claim I had viewed Tanglewood and st. cronin. But I didn't.

What does that mean though? I doubt another Dimir would have been trying to attack their partner.

So do I, I am hoping to clear someone else and narrow down the candidates that could be Dimir. If they recount the event accurately, it could be beneficial in clearing someone.

I guess the question is, do you think it was one of those three just because of what happened that night, or because of other things that have happened in the game?

Tonight's vote is just as anti-climatic as the previous night's. path12 understands that his death is near. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a rosy sphere, breaking it in his hand. Suddenly, path disappears!

No one can teleport in or out of the compound, so he has to still be here. Many of you run off to find path before he can leave. Chief Rum chuckles. Several of you stop searching and pause. "You guys cannot have been that easily fooled," Chief Rum states.

He swirls his right index finger and intones a word. Suddenly, a flash occurs, and path is revealed, hiding under the table. Chief Rum continues, "You were all fooled by a simple invisibility spell. Tsk tsk."

Before he can try any more tricks, path is grabbed by a pair of guards and dragged to the sacrifical altar. Path begins pleading. "You've made a mistake, a terrible mistake!"

A glance from KWhit and path's pleadings are mystically muted. St. cronin pronounces judgment and a pontifex from outside of the council pronounces the rites.

After the blooding is over, all of you cannot hide your smiles. Although the time of the Dimir Infiltration has been long and dangerous, you cannot shake the feeling that you are nearing the end. Can it be almost over?

Day Four has ended. Night four has begun. It will end at 3:30 am EST Friday morning.
