Still have an opening? I just created a band, Diagonal Phase 101, a couple days ago. Still don't know what I'm doing, but we've got two songs now.

Finally cracked the top ten with my latest album release, "Turd Burglars"

Should have gone self-titled a long time ago...

Well, there are 2 bands with offers out (Kleft, Koda)- I'm going to give them another day to accept. After that, I'll start looking for other FOFC bands to offer to.

You've got a new offer. And 4 fat contracts later, our little $13M nest egg is pretty much gone (down below $1M)

Thanks for the contract. You had some competition this time--another label gave me a very competitve offer with better money, but your terms were a little better...

Winnfield and Vega decided not to retire, and release "Wankers" the followup single to "Heaven is for Cheaters" tonight on Elitist records. They plan to go into the studio to record "ViLS-age Idiot", their new CD in 2 nights. Hopefully it will be our first CD to break into the top 10.

Well, I tend to hand out 3/1 and 4/1 type contracts because it's silly to hand out a 3/3 contract or something like that. 4 singles fit on an album so likely that's the type of thing to develop.

In the end Front Office Records is just there more as a community group. It's not like I'm skimming off the top to promote my band or anything. I try to manage the cash as best I can but future income is tough to figure out. If I could run us as a non-profit organization, I would

Triple F, congrats on the Vampires of Doom headlining the Metal Maven festival.

Mrs. Doubtfire is looking for a label. We are looking to put out our first single and, with five songs and progress being made for the 6th, are closing in on being able to release an album. We are finally making enough money to go the indie route, but would like to participate in one of the community labels if there is an interested party.

Dola-

Death to bbor is all set to release their first full album, the self-titled Death to bbor. Hopefully we aren't producing too many records right off the bat.

Now that the cheaters are falling, Too Bad Bruthaz and The Sell-Outs appear to be moving toward superstar status. Also, my country act, Pine Lake Gold, and my heavy metal band, Battery Acid, are finally starting to do well.

So, uh, here's a fun issue. Apparently I released an album - rating of 40, sold 116,000 copies - with no songs on it. I was trying to release an album with some of my newer songs on it, and was disappointed with the whole 40 rating, as everything has improved in the band since my 54-rated initial release. I just started looking into it today, and there's nothing on the track list, and all the songs I had meant to release are still listed as unreleased. I had put the whole list in, although if I remember right, I made a change on the first page of the album release after I had put the songs in.

Where should I report this as an issue?

Additionally, every song that is on my set list somehow got moved to 'Did We Write This' from 'Flawless' sometime in the same time period (since Friday). Anyone know why?

So after catching up, it sounds like I possibly got lumped in with the "cheaters", and this is karma code. So, wtf? I get screwed over twice - once with the record releasing empty, and once because my record released empty?

Yeah, 3 or 4 singles to one album makes the most sense to me. In any event, Maximum Appeal is pleased to be Front Office Records' main Teen Pop offering...

This happened to me once when I didn't practice at all for a 3 straight months. (and no, I don't cheat!) If that's the case, you should get back to 'flawless' with just a little practice...

Thanks, even though I'm not sure if i'm headlining or just opening... I'm listed as #1, but are bands listed in order of appearance or importance?

Also, I didn't even get an email announcing my participation to Metal Maven, it would have been cool to get one. I just found out because I checked the festival lineup...Room for improvement here, methinks.

Vampires of Doom are now rolling in cash, I don't know what to do with all the big bucks. Oh, and I'm an independant and will stay that way. Keep away from my money, all you thieving labels!!!

Click the Festival link in the left hand side 'scene center' menu.

This takes you to (surprise surprise) the Festivals screen.

You can then click on either one of the 2 linked festival names to look at the lineups from the last one.

Yeah, but it doesn't tell anything about the show (show rating, number of people who showed up, cash made, etc).

Sorry, misunderstood your question.

Yeah, like Taz said, right now, festivals are just fluff and don't impact the game at all.

Elitists Records has risen to #1 on the label rankings (knock on wood) and, in the same night, become the first label to sell over 100,000,000 recordings. Woot!

sorry about that - i added festivals quickly but haven't caught up yet to make them fully functional. 'fully functional' in my mind includes:
-gaining money from festivals (and potentially attributes)
-post festival report
-ability to view past festival details
-completing the other genre specific festivals
-festival attendance (although not as important)
-better selection logic
-email notificaiton on selection
-having the festival actually take up day(s) on band schedule

Um, I think I came across a bug. In my second rap group, The Wo, I bought plastic surgery for my backup vocal guy and doing that pushed me (the lead vocals) to 102 for looks. I seem to be the only one in the game with looks over 100.

The max is 100, but it will go over until the game updates that night.

You need to get out there and tour. Get that popularity up

Then again, what do I know- I've never sold 700K in my first month of an album

Glam Gams newest album, Fantoni Wijaya is a Terrorist (FU FW), will come out next month. It is an album full of label protest songs. Fantoni Wijaya is the manager of Heaven and the owner of FW Entertainment. This is Glam Gams' 4th album released on FW Entertainment; only one more record until they can cut ties with this cheating bastard.

The lineup order was never implemented, so everyone's touring always shows 2/4.

SI: Thanks for the advice, but I have found the magic numbers for touring/Resting/practicing. My guys never drop below 99 for happiness or health. I may not be the most popular, or even the richest, but I have a good formula going.

Nice to see that the ""Karma Code" has put a dent in Vils Slum's success. He was only able to release 8 records in the past 9 months while maintaining a 100 in popularity and cohesion and 200 groupies.
