Gotta be Wells now for the Cardinals to replace unhappy Edge.

Fantastic pick for the Titans. If he can't be in Miami, I can live with him in Tennessee.

worried about Wells injury history and how he's reacted to them in his college career if he goes to the Cards, but that looks like the pick since he was on the phone. Could be a steal if he can just stay healthy

Damn... not sure who I want for the Steelers (since I know it won't be Pat White any time soon).

Alphonso Smith seems like he could be good and fills a need. Unger would fill a need, too. Not sure if there are any DLs worth grabbing this soon.

Had seen something earlier suggesting Cards wanted Bears 2nd plus Hester for Boldin. But with all the other trading partners gone I'm not sure that they can drive that kind of price.

Bears with no 1st or 2nd round pick, but adding Cutler and Boldin in off-season would be pretty interesting. I would say "no way could this happen" but after the Cutler trade maybe it is time to throw out the old assumptions about their front office.

This'll mean Unger to Pittsburgh. I was kind of hoping for a more exciting pick but it makes sense for the Steelers.

No worries, Anthony Davis will either join Britt in the first round next year, or could be a potential top 5 pick in 2011.

My wife and son have been obsessively following the draft on espn (I've been following it here, more fun). My son is big fan of Mualaga (sp?) and if he goes to the Steelers, they will turn off the tv and probably throw something through it. Fuck the Steelers.

Along the same lines, Larry English being selected at #16 was the highest ever for a Northern Illinois Huskie. I bet the Chargers are hoping he turns out like the previous NIU alum they picked, RB Michael Turner.

Well if Detroit passes there a few LB spots available in New England - would be typical of them to get a '1st round talent' in the 2nd round.

Great pick in my opinion by Detroit.

Edit: I've read that he's been drawing comparisons to what Bob Sanders was when he was coming out of college.

Obviously there is a lot people don't like about Maulauga. Detroit and New England both could've used LB and both passed.

Maualuga supposedly is a poor fit for a 4-3 scheme so I'm not surprised the Lions passed on him. I'm a bit surprised New England just did though.

As I said before, Maulauga has questional football IQ. He is a risky, risky pick and definetly not a fit in Detroit. A 3-4 team I could see, but he is probably better off as a 3-4 OLB where he can use his athleticism to just rush the passer.

I like Delmas to Detroit. We needed secondary help, and the prior two 2nd round safety's we took, one is coming off neck surgery and the other off a torn ACL.

Yeah. I've been hearing for awhile teams may only consider him a 2 down player (1st and 2nd down), so that must be true and is the reason he is dropping.

I'm sorry, but I think Bullocks is fine now, and is also a stud.

Alexander is a question mark though. I think they could have filled a deeper hole here.

If Detroit took a feeler on Maulauga by dealing up later in the 2nd, I'd be fine with it, but not taking him was the right move. Obviously Delmas was BPA on the Lions board and they made the pick. I can't fault them. Doesn't hurt though I like Delmas a lot.
