There's definitely a tunnel the cars go into that runs along the bottom right edge of the white.

and tunnels on the right. Looks to be very hilly. The buildings cast shadows on the white area.

We stayed at the Intercontinental down to the bottom right another couple of inches off the picture a couple of years ago. Hooray for my mom's hotel points

Nice. I stayed at a bed & breakfast place that we legitmately couldn't find for about an hour and a half and two trips to the internet cafe. And it wasn't incredibly close to the Spanish Steps either.

Crying uncle. I gather that is an airplane? I don't really know how to search for that. It doesn't appear to be a runway, so I'm not sure exactly how to proceed. Any ideas?

The architecture/coloring of the buildings looks European/Swiss to me. Just a hunch.

Hey, I found it (the picture) on a map. I have no idea what it is, tho. It's near a marker saying "Flughafen Berlin-Tempelhof"

Berlin Tempelhof Airport - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

According to wiki, it looks like "Tempelhof was one of Europe's three iconic pre-World-War-II airports — the others being London's now-defunct Croydon Airport and the old Paris - Le Bourget Airport."

More fun facts: "The airport halls and the neighbouring buildings, intended to become the gateway to Europe and a symbol of Hitler's "world capital" Germania, are still known as the largest built entities worldwide, and have been described by British architect Sir Norman Foster as "the mother of all airports"."
