Hello again, Howard tribe. As you all know, this is your second tribal council. Last time, I know a few of you expressed some frustration about the nature of the challenge working against the smaller teams. What aspects of today proved to be daunting for your group? There were a lot of ideas shared today on how to approach this task - what went wrong at the end?

What went wrong? The fates were against us. It looks like three tribes have similar ideas, but the other two guessed better than we did on what people were willing to bid on each territory.

Team size didn't have anything to do with this one. I figured we had three ways to go -- spread out, play big, or try to focus on grabbing five or so. We ended up doing kind of a hybrid of the spread and focus strategies. In hindsight we probably should have gone for one or the other -- $3 bids would have gotten us a few, and a little more focus would have gotten us a few also.

That's the other thing. In werewolfese, we attacked the guys who were guarded.

I think the trouble was 2 fold
we had problems determining how spread out we should get. And in hind sight it easier to see that most would be interested in the middle values.

How would the wolf in Helsing be able to get that information out without drawing attention to himself? And why try to bring us down to three? If there is a wolf in a tribe (and I think there is at least one in each tribe), there's a 25% chance that the wolf will get voted out, whereas in Helsing, it's a 1 in 6 chance.

I think either their first post was a decoy, or the one they went with was their back-up plan. The first post goes along with what we kind of expected them to do, so maybe the back-up was just doing the opposite of that and we just got unlucky.

I'm really baffled by the continued statements about werewolves by our participants this year. I guess this is what we get for having a Survivor taking place in this remote mountain region in Eastern Europe - the natives have infected you with their superstitions. What I do know is that we are going to need a lot of editing to clean up these references.

I remember the good old days on this show, when people thought that outwitting and outlasting people was a novel concept. But everyone seems to want a supernatural fairy tale to be mixed in these days.

Seriously, do you think our advertisers would allow this? You have been here three days now and the only people who have left are the ones voted off though the tribal council.

Speaking of which, what is the thought process for you on who to eliminate? I'm guessing this one will be even tougher than the last - the remaining members of this tribe seem to have bonded, even in their defeats.

I think the wolves can communicate. There was a last second change of bid that made a big difference in the results per Barkeep.

So the ONLY one of those that stayed the same was Lesser, which we stayed away from......they revised to:

6 Lesser
4 Homidia -- same as us
5 Lupinia -- same as us
7 Garovia -- outshone our 3
7 Lower -- just beat our 6

Sorry, too much coincidence for me. Remember, Oz and Lupus had already put their votes in. Wolves talked to each other, Helsing revised and put us in council. We've got a wolf, fellas. I am 100% positive.

Glad you're around, hoops. I'll be very interested to hear your thoughts when this is over.

My thoughts -- yes, I do like everyone on this team, both as players and just in the way we interrelate, I think we look at the game very similarly, and I will always be happy to play with these guys.

That said, I'm now gonna find the wolf and that is going to be my vote. Nothing personal.

Yeah, this vote is going to be tough. At least we have until Sunday morning, though. It's going to be interesting to see what develops over the next couple of days.
