This has been a really strange and interesting game so far. As for what the dead can do -- maybe I'll get a chance to find out firsthand. :-)

Wow. I don't look for a couple hours, and I miss two pages of stuff? That's a lot to chew on. I tend to trust Blade -- I don't see his move as wolf-like.

I'd like to make sure this question doesn't get lost in the fray, as I'm in total agreement. Maybe now that dacman's been taken down a peg, he can shed some light on this? Although I doubt it, and understand if he wants to keep his mouth closed. |

While we're on that subject, I've always felt the GM should PM the dead to let them know they are, in fact, dead.
It would help tremendously, in my opinion.

This night does not go as smoothly as the last. Which is to say...yeah. Has any day or night been smooth? The sun is just about to rise, and you realize you are missing not one, but two of your number. Kingfc simply cannot be awakened from his bed. Looking closer, you realize why: he's not breathing. No marks of any kind mar his body, his body simply failed in the night. Poison is suspected, and when traces of one nasty such substance are found at the bottom of his wine up, confirmed. The scene in Saldana's room is far more violent. There are obvious signs up a brief struggle, and one lovely bone-handled dagger is found square in Saldana's back. A short note is attached to the knife which says simply "Kick me in the nuts, will you!". And yes...the Druid and Warlock were at it again last night. This scene however, looks strangely familiar. A very familiar trout in a very familiar rectum is seen nailed to a board. The only difference from last night is this one doesn't stink as much. Okay, perhaps it wasn't exactly the same. The Rhino offered up to the elementals...well, it looks like someone tried to dress up the poor beast like an oversized penguin. It has been painted black and white, and a lump of cheese has been attached to its faced as a makeshift beak. Have the intermediaries with the elementals totally lost their minds? Having seen the bizarre-ness out front, you commence a search of Kingfc's and Saldana's rooms. Kingfc's room is very troubling indeed. You find various strange items, including a small altar, a crystal ball, and a whole slew of candles/herbs/potions/etc. Saldana's is far less interesting, with a collection of musical instruments and a rather impressive supply of daggers. Let me just say that I would have been mighty pissed futzing around with my network like I did, after spending good time doing the vote update, only to find myself dead. Anywho I have added new information today. Next to the vote is the current number of votes that person had. The lines with no info are unvotes. Perhaps tomorrow I will give explanations, where approrpriate, for those as well. Also not that it matters now but King was today's only no vote.

The whole sacrafice thing confuses the heck out of me, but I think it's pretty clear that saldana was killed by the wolves and king likely by a villager one time kill, although it could be some other kind of kill, perhaps elemental, though I would think they would work in ways more sutble than poisen.

It doesn't mention when a former elemental could use their kill power but it reads to me that each elemental can kill if found out. I'm thinking king was killed by dacman because saldana had that "kick me in the nuts, will you" note and I would think that would be from a demon. |

I hadn't considered dacman being killed by king. That's an interesting idea Taz especially as we do not know dac's secret role at this point. Regardless of who killed whom I am not a Demon on Day 3.

Man, this is confusing. I just wanted to say I'll be out of town until late afternoon on the 1st, so you won't hear back from me until then. Not that I'll have a clue at that point either.
I am not a demon or an elemental on day 3. And Happy New Year.

I don't get why the demons would go after Saldana again. They knew his role and that he had no special power to go after them. The only way that makes sense is if they were trying to frame Cronin, since WVU has been exonerated.
Thus, my new trust list: 1st Tier: WVU, Dacman 2nd tier: Cronin, Blade, Dubb I think we had an assassin role act last night against Kingfc. Which would mean that the demons got lucky again, as a human killed a human. I don't think that an elemental acted against us with a kill - which means they still have two remaining kills to use for their still to-be-determined purposes. Interesting that the claim has transformed today to demon or elemental - I'm not either one of these. And for everyone who was looking for the seer to exonerate them last night, it seems that there is a pretty decent chance that option has been lost to us. All in all, the demons are throwing close to a perfect game so far. |

My initial thought for today would be to allow Blade to demonstrate the role that he has positioned us to believe he has. If it does come down to that, then there are seven players left up for grabs that I count:
Ardent SnDvls Pass Path Gram Taz Barkeep Three of these guys are demons (one as warlock) if Blade is not a demon. So even a random pick by Blade results in a 40+% likelihood of bagging a bad guy. Hopefully with a couple of days for people to discuss this we are able to move that probability up, not down. I recognize that all of these assumptions are based upon my trust list being 100% accurate. I'm very confident that it is, but I know that is a huge leap of faith for other players to make. And I know that there are a couple of demons out there who have zero interest in seeing the other humans/elementals trust my list. |

Down to 13 players right now.
2 are elementals. Assumed that 3 are demons, with one as warlock 8 humans 3 demons 2 elementals Random chance of getting a demon today = 3/13 = 23% Chance of my play above getting a demon today = 3/7 = 43% Obviously we are at a stage in the game where we have some information to go on which should help us have a better than random shot of success. But we also have parties who are going to feed disinformation that is mixed in with that information. I really think my idea makes the most sense. It has 100% chance of hitting a demon if Blade is lying about his role - I'm assuming he is not an elemental because he isn't one. And it almost doubles our chances of hitting a demon if Blade is telling the truth about his role. |

I'd have to agree that I think the demons got to be loving life right now. I'm so ticked off and frustrated. 3 of us down and a "normalized" elemental (love ya, dacman). NOT ONE FRIGGIN DEMON. Gah. It makes me sick. I think I even dreamed about it last night. I can't believe I stayed up waiting for night actions. GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGAH.
Top it off that someone thought they were doing the right thing with killing kingfc22, most likely our friggin seer. That person might as well come out and explain themselves. I agree in hindsight that st.cronin may have been setup. I just can't believe we've been this unsuccessful thus far. UNVOTE ST.CRONIN

The only other reason I can think of for the demons to hit Saldana last night is that they knew what they were getting (not an elemental). If that was their selection criteria then they had their pick between Saldana and WVU and took Saldana.

AE, I'm counting on the other humans to either buy into my plan or not. I know it isn't a good plan for the demons, relative to random.
