So do the death-eaters apparate to their victim's destination? Is this the sort of thing that would naturally fit into the game? How do you like the sound of his story, is what I'm asking? |

I didn't occur to me how they would get to someone to kill him until I read about Sndvls charm.. then it hit me that the most likely way to "infiltrate" a wizard's house without raising an alarm would be to apparate into it.. hence, the anti-disapparation charm would be a means of protecting oneself (or the house you're at).

VOTE COFFEE WARLORD
SnDvls may be making a high risk gambit here, but we'll find out one way or the other. I'll put my money on a person whose actions appear highly suspicious to me. I believe Coffee and King are up to no good. |

Hmm.. I just looked it up..
I might have things confused.. Anti-disapparation means BINDING someone, PREVENTING them to apparate....

They constantly talk about the anti-disapparation jinx as a defensive spell though.. that's all I can tell at the moment.. I'm doing some research.. they use it in combination with shieldingspells... could be that it works the way I thought as well.

GOT IT
(Anti-Disapparation Charm) Pronunciation: Unknown Description: Used to prevent Disapparation in an area for a time. Presumably can be used to prevent an enemy from entering a defended area, or used to trap an enemy in an area. Seen/Mentioned: Used by Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix during the Death Eater attack on the Department of Mysteries. Sndvls is legit

The only reason I feel he's legit is because he seems to have no real HP-knowledge, thus he wouldn't make up having the item. Had he been a confessed HP-reader he could have made up having the charm and tried to trick us all.
We've got nothing to lose giving Sndvls the benefit of the doubt for one night if it can save Neon, so therefore Coffee's relentless attempts at lynching Sndvls is only making himself look more suspicous in my mind.

I'm still confuzzled about one thing, though ... if Saldana made 'apparating' impossible, what use would that particular charm be?

It's a defense spell as well, binding opponents. That's the only thing I can think of.
or, according to the wiki-entry above, can be used to prevent an enemy of entering a defended area.

VOTE WVUFAN I don't know about Harry Potter, so the story doesn't make sense to me, but from what I read I believe him.

Anybody have a vote count?
SnDvl if anyone has the ability to get you off the hook, why should they use that ability? How can we be sure you are not just a DE leaving Neon for a round to cover yourself? WVU and Coffee if the vote got shifted to you, why would that be bad? Sun has offerred something to work with, neither of you have. |

WVU, sorry but I'm going to bed. It was either you or Pass that I would vote for since there wasn't much from you. From what I can tell, there's no reason I shouldn't vote for you.

Unofficial, just going off the tally a few posts above and the few changes since. Gramm, I think if Neon dies we can nail sndvls for it. Quite honestly, I haven't read all the posts, just the ones sndvls has been defending himself. Why is it everyone is on him?

Well, *I* know I'm a villager. But I, as I stated before, have no special role, and unless I am mistaken, have no ability to gain any special role. I'm as vanilla as they come, which is why I'm playing a lot looser than I normally do. We don't lose much of anything if I bite it, so I'm going to be the loudmouth and cast my suspicions around. Frankly, at this point, I want to see SnDvls lynched. Settle it right now. If he's a villager, we look at who pushed for him (and I'm fully aware that I'm included on that, but there have been others today who have pushed on him as well). If he's not, well, one more down. |

Cronin brought up the point of the DEs skipping Neon tonight and when Neon scans Sndvl, Sun could be using a skill to mask himself, thus looking clean for the rest of the game. |

Not all that great. Backtrack. I started out on dubb because of the Pile On Theory. Someone else, st.cronin if I remember, did much the same on SnDvls. Dubb, while obviously not in the clear, parried my questions and handled the response pretty well. SnDvls has been very defensive, and I question his role reveal, considering, in my mind, it contradicts the opening post of the game (note the quote I posted up above).
That's...what I've got. Not much, but there's still not a lot to work with. |

First person to vote for Sndvls was St.cronin originally who Neon cleared, sooo.. then alot of people just hopped on the bandwagon. Sndvls was on my short list of people who I thought had curious voting the day before, but I had a list of 6-7 people. I didnt vote for him because of the huge bandwagon. I think in the end I agree that having a tie might not be bad to clear another villager possibly with a tie break. However I still stated before why i dont think its a bad thing to give sndvls one more day.
At this point, we have very little information on most people. |

I will say this. In this game we have so many people, it might be best to trust people early we normally wouldn't. If Sun had just sat there my vote would have sat on him as well. I said I had a feeling he was being defensive b/c he had a big role. I think in this situation the risk outweights the reward, and I'd hate for Sun to be legit and lose the tie break.

I'm going to admit, I haven't been able to sort today's events out for two reasons:
1) Don't want to use the internet at all while at work 2) Haven't read the HP books or seen the movies, etc. Can someone put, INTO WEREWOLF TERMS, the events that have transpired today? Thanks! ~rpi-fan
