@ Liverpool.

we actually outplay them, but a horrible error by defender Mellburg gifts Liverpool a goal late and we lose 1-2

H vs Tottenham

we fall behind early after an own goal off a set piece, 2 Achilles heals for me. late in the game it looks over for me because i cant get shots on target, bit then Kapiec a sub comes in and sparks my offense and we score 2 goals in the final 20 to pull out a huge win 2-1!

Tott didnt even get a shot on target, but outshooting my opponenets and getting more on target is the norm for me. getting killed on set pieces and defensive blunders are how i give up goal. keep it efficient when you lose

and its Christmas, finally a present and not a lump of coal

@ Nott Forrest, final game of the year

we lose 1-2

once again, we outplay them. but another horrendous defensive laps by both centerbacks lead to an easy goal and a set piece.

ok now that i see my team in the light of day i can see that weak links of the team. my goalies had my 2 lowest ratings on the year, 6.67 and 6.60 in league play. thats horrible. their euro play wasnt much better, the keeper that played them had the lowest rating on the team for them too. next up were my central midfield. while their ratings were 6.8 to 6.9 i think it might be a result of my formation.

Bismarck is a solid player, but without euro competiton i will likely sell him. he doesnt play well in the MC slot and Foxcroft is clearly my best AMC. he become surplus so i will hopefully sell him to make some cash. LB/CB Cristodouou has requested a transfer because my talk with him didnt go well. he played real well when he wasnt off on aussie duty, but hes expendable without all the extra games to play. Cory Otrega my AML has been on the radar of Monaco all year and i expect them to make an offer for him in the offseason. ill let him go and hopefully i can buy this Dutch ML ive been eyeing all year. ive already made offers in 2 different windows for him but was rejected both times.

My young HG fowards played well this season, not great but they are still young and improving. Bloomfield, my best player easily had a subpar year in league play, 6.99 rating and only 11 goals in 27(4) games

on the youth front, Torres my young LB came into the 1st team after i sold Myers at midseason. he played ok when he got into games
Fotheringham was around the 1st team all season and played ok, mostly off the bench
Ian Barber my young DMC/MC got promoted to the 1st team midway thru and looks like he will have a long career with me
my youth intake got me a hot LB to go with my RB from last yr. weve gotten lots of defensive guys the last few intakes after getting lots of forwards before

holy fudge! Chelsea and Arsenal have offered 31 million for Bloomfield. thats too much to pass on, plus i could buy his ex team mate from southampton if i wanted. ill try to tack on a 10% future fee

Man city joined the act and offer 34 million for Bloomfield.

i tried to get Southamptons Fry, he was with Bloomy when i got him from southampton. but those championship bastards want 25mill plus! just last season he wanted to leave them, ill let em hang and hope Fry flipps out and demands a transfer

also that Dutch winger isnt going to happen. his club wants almost 15 million for him. way too much for a 17 yo

wow this transfer window has been kinda hectic. ive sold some guys, bought some but im in a quandry right now. Arsenal came in for a 14 million offer for MC Campbell and i rejected. they came back with a 17million offer and his agent has said he wants to talk to Arsenal. i dont want to lose him but he could become pissed if i turn it down.

i also took over the TEAM USA coaching job! for the 1st time in the game Jurgen Klinsman decided to step down from the job so i applied and got it. they are paying me much more than my day job at Carlisle and i still get to play with Ortega and Myers.

end of January. i only bought Fry for the 1st team. my Direstor of youth bought another promising youngster for the reserves. hes been on a roll picking prospects lately, i just looked at my U-18 and saw a 5 star 16yo striker and remembered he bought him in the offseason. my team is currently playing well and Fotheringham and Foxcroft are leading the way. Fotheringham won the young player of the month for Jan, and hes now listed as a wonderkid and hes still only 19!

PL results
@ Chelsea 2-2 tie
H vs Nottm Forrest 4-1 win
@ Norwich 1-1 tie
H vs Liverpool 0-2 loss
H vs Man City 5-3 win! what a shootout

Cup games
FA cup 3rd round
H vs Chelsea 2-1 win
H vs Leeds 7-3 win!

QPR hold a euro cup spot due to the Capital one cup, so i currently hold the last euro cup spot, i cant afford to drop to 7th unless QPR are above me

the good news is im playing QPR and Brighton the last 2 games, so im playing my direct competition for the last euro spot

we win our last 2 games and finish 6th! unfortunatly the 2 cup winners were below us in the standings and take 2 league cup spots meaning we miss out on the Euro cup

its been a fairly quiet offseason, only a few player moves

i sold my brazilian Ivan. he was entering his last year on his contract and an Italian side came for him. at first i refused and he got pissed off. he then refused to sign a new contract so i had to sell him for 13 mil and 10%. i also sold veteran DC McFarlane. he was with the club a long timeand has been a stalworth in the back for 7 seasons. but he was losing PT last season and my homegrown CB Dunning was getting promoted.

players i bought were a real young LB my Head of youth bought from southampton. hes only 15 so it will be years before hes ready. i brought in a young (21) english AMCR to replace Ivan for free. my scout says he has 5 star pot, but he didnt get much PT with his original club. hopefully he can grow into his potential.

a young croatian RB ive been eyeing for a while came onto the market and i pounced for 2.3 million. now i have 3 RB's, i thought one would get sold but none has yet

i also resigned Foxcroft to a huge contract. im desperate to make the CL this season, and im also aiming at winning some cups for good measure. i usually let my rotation guys play all the cup games, but since my youngsters are more developed this year they will play more PL games and i can rotate better
