chesapeake, I got a ring of wizardry from a trade today (adds one second level wizard spell so long as you keep it equipped). It has no use to me other than Djinni fodder, are you interested in it?

Ok, how about this so that everyone can be happy

Black Market
Pass sends 3 healing potions, +2 whip, horse figurine and 500 gold to Danny
Danny sends Sword of Righteousness to Pass

Then tomorrow I trade the +2 whip back for 700 gold (this makes the deal total 1100 gold, the 3 healing potions and the horse figurine for the 2000+ or whatever you get from the sword.

This also leaves you with enough Gold to do the deal with Kwhit.

I would be. Do you happen to know if it comes with a spell already loaded, or, if I get to pick a spell, can I only pick a spell that an artificer could cast already -- no acid arrow, for example?

I don't know the answer to that. The description Poli gave was: "Mages or artificiers only. 300 gold. Allows them to learn a level 2 spell while they have it on."

Abe, another question, for that 4th level cleric spell wizardry, if I selected it and cast it on this object, would it allow me to choose a level 2 wizard spell? Most of the 4th level spells are tempting, but this would be another tough choice once I get access to them and it might be worth keeping after all as there are some very cool level 2 wizard spells.

Yeah, I am probably going to keep that ring as it turns out. That trade worked out pretty well.

Lady and the 2 Amigos entered the next room and found ourselves in a working mine full of Dvergr. They didn't seem to notice or care that we were there, but they sure were thankful we were there, well that MommyTorgo was there when they tapped into a new vein and somehow released an earth elemental!

It was quite the back and forth battle between the two and finally MT had to use her self-heal paladin ability. A couple more hits after that and victory was ours...er hers! The vein where the elemental came from revealed a hole only a Dvergr could get into, or perhaps some magical method-say a passwall scroll I'm thinking. Anybody got one?
