Dola,

MIL-CHI is driveable. Detroit and Toronto seem too far, though.

I'm shocked it wasn't Comey, too, since he's constantly making black jokes about me.

(spoiler alert comey has never made a black joke about me and he actually seems like a pretty nice guy so i was really just saying this to be a jerk)

I started to feel this way in 2004. I lived in Brussels from 2002-2004. I came back to the states for a business trip in the summer of 2004 and it was the first time I had watched Sportscenter in a while. I found the show nearly unwatchable.

The only time I watch Sportscenter is if I am at a hotel or if it's on at the gym.

Unless ESPN is showing a NFL game, a college football game or the NFL draft, I never watch the network.

IT'S SOOO COLD! I loved our little non-winter we were having. BUT IT'S SO COLD AGAIN TODAY and that little reprieve so far this year does nothing to help the -2 wind chill that's probably on its way down to -10.

I have been pleasantly surprised with NBCSN. Maybe it's because they actually cover the NHL though.

watching a replay of the cuse/nova game got me thinking. dion waiters is a stone cold killer. i've never seen him rattled. i don't think you can rattle him. but he's dumb as a brick. anyone who's seen him interviewed can attest to this.

i wonder how many times in history the supremely confident, supremely dumb guy has led the masses. like, 'i know this guy's dead wrong and retarded but he never loses.' i imagine it happened a lot.

To be fair, I figured a sample of my writing would be enough to base a decision on, apparently not. A phone interview about writing for a blog that does not pay me money should be interesting.

Failed to install Ubuntu via a VM last night. I turned on my PC this morning to find out I somehow had installed it via a dual boot. So far it's...interesting. I think the biggest thing right now is finding the placement of everything and having to use permissions for any sort of download/install. I'm sure I can change that. I just haven't found it yet.

Not complaining though...as a salesman, being busy = making money. I will say this much, the industry must be making a shift...companies are spending money on new tech and since that is what I am selling, they are buying...pretty solid.

Can we please stop with the honey badger shit already? It was an internet meme that was reasonably funny 3 months ago.

Danica Patrick - you are a mediocre driver who keeps getting gigs because you are a decently hot chick and racing execs think it broadens their base and middle America eats up that shit. You are nothing like the fictional honey badger. Just stop.

Nope.

Very cool afternoon under very difficult circumstances.

Long story short, went to the Eagle Scout ceremony for a young man in my son's troop. His mother will likely not survive her battle with cancer until the end of the month, unable to leave the house at this point so the ceremony was held at their home. Generally thought to be the largest turnout for a ceremony in troop history, just incredible to see a rather diverse group - connected by scouting, or church, or school, or blood - show up with a single-minded purpose of trying to support this young man & his family.

Generally speaking, I don't think very much of the vast majority of people, but today, it was truly a privilege to be a tiny part of such a group.

As I feared, the mother of the young man who advanced to Eagle Scout yesterday afternoon passed away earlier today.
